T24 Studebaker Weasel, a new addition to the Motor Pool

This is a T24 Studebaker Weasel personnel carrier that was designed and built during WWII. The person I bought it from said it hadn’t run in many years. This video is when it was delivered, the first start up, and a quick walk around. My plan is to go through the Weasel mechanically and do a Motor pool restoration so that it will be a reliable runner. Also I plan on replacing the tracks with restored original style tracks.

Very nice condition weasel, The French tracks are horrid. When I bought mine the tracks did not look all that bad , however setting as long as it had when we got it running the 40 pitch chains imbedded in the rubber pads literally fell apart. I had to totally rebuild the track.
