Jesus fuck I had no idea that Jason was such an amazing live singer!!!! I've yet to find ANY band of this generation, big or small, that can sing live as good as he does! He's so freaking talented!

This is back when Hawk Nelson was good! They sounds awful live now and the energy is not there. I miss Jason as the frontman, he was Hawk!

Mikey Hobbs ...it "sounds" more Christian? Let me guess, metal and screaming is satanic too right? Who are you to decide what genre of music is Christian? They played the music they liked and they did it for God...is that not enough for you? It's "Christians" like you that have me on the verge of renouncing my faith. Think twice before condemning someone based solely on the style of music they play. Jason dunn had more heart and passion than anyone else on the entire band. Which is why he left in the first place. He actually cared.
Let me ask you, at church do you read out of a hymnal book? If not, the music you listen to was at one point frowned upon and the people were looked at as a bunch of crazy lunatics.
Burg its just the lyrics sound more Christian not the style of the music it don't matter the style all that matters is the lyrics are Christian
I disagree. I think the purpose is all that matters. Does a song lose purpose simply because the word "God" isn't in the song? Let's try and apply this to other aspects of life. Should a Christian baker have to place crosses or other religious designs on every cake? Should a Christian fashion designer only make shirts with bible verses on them? Should a Christian painter only paint biblical scenes? No...artists are limited only by their God given creativity. And since musicians are artists, they are absolutely in no way, any different. If you want praise and worship songs, that's fine. Go buy a hillsong United CD (my absolute favorite praise and worship band). But there are many more topics worth singing about.

I do not see anything Christian about this ...... it is no different to any other Rock and Roll show ...... there is nothing about this that would exemplify the Christian life as taught in the Gospels and Epistles ..... this is pure entertainment and is no different to any of the dozens of other rock groups that dot the landscape..... just an observation ..... but I had never even heard of this band till the lead singer became an infidel..... maybe it's all just a publicity stunt to boost the band ?..... please don't watch my latest video whatever you do 😁
It's okay for a Christian band to be more adventurous lyrically if there's a still lot of lyrics and songs that had to do with God and Jesus, which there are. A band like them when they were still good here, make new Christians with their incredibly catchy and powerful sound.

Jesus said that not everybody who says "Lord, Lord" will get into the Kingdom of Heaven but he that does the will of the Father who is in Heaven (Matthew 7:21) ..... being a Christian is not about "music and sound" .... being a Christian is about Righteousness, Suffering and Death to Self ...... God is not in the "entertainment business" He is HOLY .... and He calls Christians to be Holy..... to walk in the Spirit and not the Flesh ...... all this music and entertainment is of the flesh...... "good music and sound" does NOT translate to self-denial, self-control and righteousness..... just read the Bible and see for yourself 😊

@@LRM5195 so after you "turned towards Christ" did you develop a love for reading the BIBLE every day .... and did your life radically CHANGE so that you started manifesting the fruit of the spirit described in Galatians 5:22-23 ..... and did you encounter persecution as described in 2 Timothy 3:12 ? .... what spiritual evidence has been wrought in your life by your "turn towards Christ" ? ..... you don't have to answer me cause I do not even know you.... you have to judge your own life in the light of Holy Scripture which is the Word of GOD .... and so do these Hawk Nelson people and all who hear them .... Christ claims 100% in the lives of His followers and He is not satisfied with "people just turning towards Him" ... it's all there in the BIBLE..... CHRIST has to be evidenced in the lives of His followers.... otherwise they are not His sheep.... I say this not to discourage or condemn you ..... these things are in the BIBLE and all that name the name of CHRIST are expected to depart from iniquity and allow Jesus to crucify their fleshly desires and give them heavenly desires instead.
@@StephenMendes Yeah man I totally get where you’re coming from. I have no idea how genuine the individuals in this band are, but I’m just saying that their music has always helped me in my walk of faith. Unfortunately there are a lot of posers who use His name for profit, but I digress.
