It sure was! Miss going to concerts like this. Damn COVID-19. I saw this band live in Houston in 2013. Good memories, countless times listening that year!
I love how at 32:15 you can hear the Arctic Monkey's in the background playing their set opener "Do I Wanna Know?" while Ezra is speaking to the crowd!
@@CarrotGarlicI believe that was either Chris or someone else doing that as a treat for the audience who picked VW over AM! I missed AM for this show and didn’t regret a minute.
Been watching a lot of these older videos with Rostam and it's a small but pretty cool detail I appreciate. That is Ezra's body language whenever Rostam would play the heavier lead on instrumental sections like the ending of Hannah Hunt or parts of California English. You can see Ezra's side that reflects the same kid who found music and just wants to dance to it.
Great show. Rostam really rocks and yeah I can see what yall are talking about when it comes to Tomson's drumming. And Baio, he wasn't kidding. I saw in an interview he called himself "Baio, the sweatiest guy in the room". lol dude sweats a LOT. I got nothing but respect for him on how he is fully aware of it.
Chris Tomson is almost "too good for this band". I'm not trying to demean Vampire Weekend, but for a band that doesn't take itself seriously, they've got a hell of a drummer.
Was there! Arctic Monkeys started playing in another stage across the field towards the end of VW's concert. Peak times for both bands, oh boy how I miss this.
I directed the cameras for this show. Good times.
Great work, must have been a fun experience
What a great occupation. :)
You doing any work for this years ACL, which leads me to my next question if the answer is yes. Can you get me back stage for a few artist?XD
Wow! Excellent job!
Nice work, was at the show and keep coming back!
The bassist is a loveable dork.
2024 and still watching this masterpiece at least once a week
capo on the bass is a power move
100% big balls
GiHuGIC balls !
Super rare
I don’t think there’s a single person in the whole world who gets more turnt to Vampire Weekend than Chris Baio.
Probably not.
I guess it is pretty off topic but do anyone know of a good website to watch newly released movies online?

Chris thompson is a hell of a drummer, so underrated
He's like the Modern Ringo
He and the other Chris too. His hands are constantly running up and down that bass!

Still totally in love with these guys...such an amazing band🤩 Favorite ever. Still listenning to this, over and over...love it.
Hannah Hunt is such a beautiful song!
how a dude with a babar jacket and sunglasses could sound so cool?
how Baio enters the frame with that lil wiggle at 17:35 gets me everytime
Rostam B. Vampire Weekend will ALWAYS be the best.
2023 baby
I love that Baio uses a pick.
I never heard of Everlasting Arms before. It’s wonderful!! Added to list.
I’ve listened to it on repeat recently too
The perfect concert of Vampire Weekend of 2013! 🌺
Ya hey 😍😍😍😭
Rostam is the George Harrison of VW. He’s such an essential part of the band, does all the background stuff, but isn’t super popular
Brian Jones rather
Julian Sawicki Nahh, Rostam can write songs unlike Brian Jones
Sam Etzweiler He does contribute a nice part to the band, but have you heard his solo stuff? It’s absolute trash.
Shish Kebab Is really sad
Chris Tomson is almost "too good for this band". I'm not trying to demean Vampire Weekend, but for a band that doesn't take itself seriously, they've got a hell of a drummer.
Perfect setlist
Great Band, I am 56, and love this
Having just gotten into Donovan, from the 60s and 70s, I can see their influence on Vampire's music.
@Elijah Finch will do, thx!!
Was there! Arctic Monkeys started playing in another stage across the field towards the end of VW's concert. Peak times for both bands, oh boy how I miss this.
This must be Vampire Weekend

I still love this in 2021... Merry Christmas
I’ll be seeing them in June. Wish Rostam was still with them, but I am sure it’ll be a great show regardless
i’m seeing them this month as well! i’m watching this as a concert preparation of sorts- it’s going to be my first concert
I love you. Many joy from France.
32:54 You can see Ezra smiling after he hits the wrong note lol
Erald 👏🤣
Lol Rostam is dressed like a goob but I love them all. Also, how is Ezra so attractive? Also Baio's moves are always on point
Fuck yeah Vampire Weekend for life they're a modern rock band I love the sounds they play with and create!
God that was such an amazing show! I hope they’re able to show up again this year!

Baio Always Brings The GahDamn Heat!
I want a Levi’s Barbar jacket now
Completely live no backing track beautiful
There's definitely a backing track
their best live set bc they played california english!!!!
I know the intro song at very beginning of video is a real song, but that was the theme for King Haku from WWF days. With Bobby Heenan.
Thanks Lacan.
how does ezra stay so dry
his sunglasses is weather-proof
Tessa Beil because he hardly moves. unlike mr bass
He's too cool, obvs
He's a cool guy 😎

Anyone know the acoustic guitar Ezra is playing during Hannah Hunt?
Why does it seem like the drummer is their dad?

Rostam.... please come back to VW. These musicians are brilliant.

Dude on the keyboard was a poor choice
Baio

I have a major throwback rn, when is the new album come out
It's too bad Tiny Tim isn't still alive, he would have been perfect for a colab with these guys
That kid is a reincarnation of Buddy Holly!
