    the products of the bag house may contain viable amounts of rare metals used in electronics. these products can be removed using mine ore processing techniques.

      I thought modern plants treated the exhaust to minimize air polution. People freaked out about nuclear power, and don't want to burn fossil fuels. Basically people don't necessarily understand the actual situation. They just want their energy, and to feel not guilty somehow.

    how do you make those animations

  • @nittayasmine9772
    @nittayasmine9772 4 года назад +1

    Excellent explanation and animation,.thank you sir, the main problems are the atm pollutants n particulates released to the atm esp the very fine ones as well as bottom ash n hot water, should alternate to other sources of elctry exampl ocean waves n geothermal

    and how CO2 is removed?

    • @mavericksison9269
      @mavericksison9269 8 лет назад

      gas absorption tower maybe

    • @chevyford8898
      @chevyford8898 8 лет назад

      CO2 is a component of the fuel (coal) and maximizing the plant efficiency (low heat rate) means you lose less fuel and therefore lessen CO2

      CO2 is not removed, it's given off to the atmosphere.

    So can we use the Bedini schoolgirl overunity free energy circuit power plant, Perendev permanent magnet motor free energy overunity power plant, and Newman permanent magnet motor free energy power plant etc. now that they say UFOs are real!

      That plant pollutes less than the plant that manufactures your computer or cellphone from where you're posting this.

    There was almost no mention of how bad mining is for the environment, and how bad the emissions are even after they have been cleaned...

      @ChickenfishOfDoom 10 лет назад +1

      ***** hippie? xD there are a lot of ways to produce electricity. :P your statement implies that no other technology has been yet invented

    • @iloveRUSSIAAA
      @iloveRUSSIAAA 9 лет назад +1

      ChickenfishOfDoom Yeah there are renewables... Maybe they work ok on a small scale but powering cities would be way too expensive and would require way to much space.

    • @fticobraman
      @fticobraman 9 лет назад +3

      ChickenfishOfDoom Agree. This is worlds # 1 Green house generator. No matter what they say your burning fossil fuels. This alone will always generate bad emissions for the environment. We need more Nuclear. No green house gasses. Yes we do have waste to deal with but if the US government gets their you know what out of their head you can recycle all nuclear fuel and recycle it. That means no more waste...

    • @iloveRUSSIAAA
      @iloveRUSSIAAA 9 лет назад +1

      Nuclear power is horribly expensive, but extremely clean when nothing is going wrong. And usually nothing will go wrong but adding more and more nuclear plants increases that risk. Now you can say "Well its all failsafe" and maybe thats true but there always gonna be something that could go wrong that no one has thought of yet... Look at Fukushima-everything would have turned out fine but the diesels got smothered and there went everything. I think the answer is natural gas and biomass. And maybe heavy fuel oils as a reserve supply of fuel. For now tho coal is very economical and so are fuel oils, for example No.6 oil has 150,000 Btus per gallon and costs next to nothing for operators.

      @fticobraman 9 лет назад +2

      Cessna 182a Agree that Fukushima was a big lesson learned just like TMI or Chernoble. We have new programs and systems in place that mitigate big natural disasters like earth quakes and floods. Not that these are in place there is nothing greener in place that has the least amount of impact to the environment.

    we need too use more coal

  • @nighthiker8872

    Oil comes from coal.

    • @ChristianGunNut2001
      @ChristianGunNut2001 11 месяцев назад

      No, oil comes directly from the ground. Almost nobody since the N@zis has made any significant usage of coal liquefaction (which is what you're thinking of when you say that oil comes from coal), because it's much more economical to just extract natural petroleum from the ground.

    why do we use coal? like seriously

    • @knightmareco
      @knightmareco 7 лет назад +7

      Because it's like a fuel with really high efficiency and like really easy to find and extract and like very abundant in nature
