For the pumpkin spice cookie mix, i have an old recipe from my grammy. Ive added a package of hershey's cinnamon chips with milk chocolate chips (original ingredient) to the batter. She, my mom & aunts would make them to send my uncles between the late 1960's on through the early 90's overseas during their active duty serving. They'd arrive crumbled in the tin can container, but the reminiscent smell from home in a care package helped. My weekend warrior is $1 for 15 redeems, but I also have a 4 percent per entire receipt in 3 shop trips up to $100 back at cvs. I've tried finding those milkbone treats, but the only ones available for me is 2 of the dog birthday biscuit bones for $2.48 each. I break one in half to treat my chocolate lab Mousse & golden retriever pup Teddy macgeyser (he's my anxious pup slowly getting better).
@@sweetsavings7327 her walnut applesauce cookies & kalashki's are spectacular too. My dad's mom would make her recipe of soft sugar cookies with a raisin gooey filling & top it off with light icing & her homemade vanilla cake with peanut butter icing. My dad vetoed me from making the chocolate coating for peanut butter eggs & cherry cream cheese eggs for Easter, after I got the wrong kind of wax & dumped the stuff down the drain. He had to go under the house with a snake gadget thing to fish it all out. Now they have pre-made melting chocolate in stores much safer for consumption & drains lol.
@@sweetsavings7327 they remind me of cherry cordials one of my dad's favorites, usually it's creamy coconut eggs cream cheese, coconut, & powdered sugar mix, but I'm not fond of coconut, substituted maraschino cherries. Another good recipe is cream cheese cookies, add maraschino cherry juice to batter then dice up cherry pieces to put in center of cookies. Those are so delicious! Usually our Christmas holiday cookies.
