Considering that this is the last time we’ve seen classic Ryouma Nagare in a mainline SRW Title, they gave him a great sendoff here, I couldn’t ask anything more of how well they handled the Getter Team here.
When has Ryoma NOT been hotblooded/batshit crazy?He basically is like Kim Kaphwan from KoF,just devoted to justice to the point that its unhealthy.And as far as being hotblooded goes,he pioneered the hotblooded male pilot stereotype.Both Ryoma's are crazy,one is just nuttier than the other.
Old comic Ryoma was pretty unhinged, getting into fights with people and all that, think he killed them actually. Old comic Hayato also tore off a bit of a guy's fave in his introduction.

Dude is actually fairly tragic, moving from a hot blooded wellmeaning teen to...well, Batshit Ryoma. Manga!Hayato however? He was always ruthless, but he kinda mellowed with time...he now uses his ruthlessness for good...in certain POV
Sadly, I believe SRW Z1 is the final time we saw the original 70's Getter Dragon in any SRW game outside of remakes of older games. While Armageddon was a freaking masterpiece and Hideo Ishikawa is an amazing Ryoma, I wonder what made Terada and Bamco decide to use that series for most Getter representation. Kamiya still seems to be in the seiyuu business, if his Wikipedia page is true at all.

I am a Japanese fan of Akira Kamiya. There's a reason why he gets paid so much. In order to improve the fact that the remuneration for voice actors as a whole is too low, he intentionally increases his own remuneration.

@@Mngalahad Shine Spark is the combination of three pilots timed together to generate the energy needed to stabilise the charge, Stoner Sunshine is projecting the energy into a sphere and launching it at the energy whilst screaming very loudly.
Not really much of a problem, since thanks to Alpha 3, they got all the possible voice clips they can get from Akira Kamiya for the Shin Getter mecha. Hell, Hirotaka Suzuoki has been dead for years and he's still voicing Banjo Haran with his archived clips.

It's between classic Ryoma and classic Kouji that defined the hotblooded male pilot... there's a reason why the Dynamic Heroes are a thing.

In A Portable.... you can get a combo attack that's essentially the Stone Sunshine Spark.... it's POWERFUL
