Hansa Park - Our FIRST visit! VLOG 2022

In this vlog Sean and Jo visit Hansa Park ( Sierksdorf, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) to ride two of our most anticipated rides, Der Schwur des Kärnan (Gerstlauer, Hyper Coaster) and Flucht von Novgorod (Gerstlauer, Launched Euro-fighter).
We also check our Nessie (Schwarzkopf), Royal Scotsman (Vekoma), Midgard Serpent (Gerstlauer) and Highlander (Funtime Gyro Drop Tower).

its nice to see first time reactions to Kärnan and Novgorod. Such great Coasters. I love them both, have ridden both at least hundred times. Meanwhile i have ridden most of germany's coasters, only 2 parks left to explore for me here. And i still cant see any coaster topping Kärnan.
Kärnan has everything a perfect coaster has to have. Airtime, Intensity, Whip, Duration, (great) Inversion(s), Theming, an epic Soundtrack, Speed (Kärnans Pacing is outworldly good), as well as unique element, no other coaster has to offer, which i wont spoil and also an amazing first drop, one of the best i ever experienced.
Novgorod on the other side is by far the best Euro-Fighter out there, well to be exactly, since it has a launch, which Euro-Fighters usally dont have, its correct companyown type is called "Kataplektor". Anyways the launch is the strogest and LSM launch in the world. That alone is already amazing, but the real quality of this coaster comes from what happens in the darkness, which again makes this ride unique. No other coaster has something similar.
Im really glad that these 2 coasters are located in my home-park.

Great video and also one of the reasons highlander needs to stay at the highest point is when Nessie comes by in the helix.
Than highlander needs to stay at the highest point for safety.

Karnan is the only coaster I still find frightening to ride. Such an awesome ride, one of the best drops on any coaster with its laterals and airtime. It's always good to see this park get more attention.

If you ever are passing through Edinburgh we have a really weird tiny cowboy themed alleyway in Morningside. It' the back of the library and some folks studios and offices but is left over filming set from way back.

if you like western themed areas, you might like fraispertuis city - its more a family park so not many thrills but the whole park is western themed
