Can't believe no one has commented on this video yet, i have a Vauxhall astra 13 plate and was contemplating drilling for the reverse camera that came with the dash cam, brought a number plate one as in this video, so much easier and neater, such a useful video! can't believe it has such small views!! thanks so much!!
Good video, thanks! If the mirror is off (as in, just working as a mirror), and you put the car in reverse, will the picture still come up automatically, or do you have to press the button?
Just wondered my car already has a reversing camera so dont need the red wire function. But would like a rear view for recording etc. Will a rear camera just give you a rear view if I just dont connect the red wire. Thanks
i'm wanting to fit a rear view camera , in this video i see the camera is attached to a rear number plate light ,how was this done, do i attach camera to the light fitting or do i have to buy a special light fitting ,i have a 2013 citroen C3

Did you use the number plate light one with your original dashcam or buy a whole new kit?

You can buy the rear camera and light as a complete unit, they are vehicle specific.
