And she knows a lot about colors in harmony! And she loves cats and coffee like me :-))))) Sometimes her whole introduktion is a piece of art. Fingernails, room decoration and project are a living piece of art. I could watch that from morning to night.
I love her albums and in this one I also adore the way Katia uses scraps to make collages. And the pastell backgroundpapers she made are wonderful too.
This is incredible, but I make albums to sell, and I would have to mark this as priceless. But I’m thinking maybe I could break it up into 2 or 3 albums. Have to think about that. It’s just so intricate and interactive. ❤️ ❤❤

Hi, this is just brilliant, great ideas, very beautiful indeed. These motives are my favourites, too, I made 3 albums already with them, and I know how much work it is. Also you are so precise with all those flaps. I prefer more pockets and lose foto mats or waterfalls, it is easier for kids to insert their fotos, and they all just love it. @@LunarSunCreations I knew it :-))) Full hearted leo! I love the Savana papers too. They are so full of beauty, power and life (like "colors of life", just more earthbound). I bouhgt some stencils from stamperia that will fit (from the Amazonia collection). I made your explosion box with the Amazonia Papers and a lot of natural embellishment.That was a lot of fun too. Moulds...I have quite a lot of different ones for resin, I never tried it with fimo. My tries with resin were...so la la...Some came out sticky and oily, never got dry. Maybe wrong pigments or fluid colors? And my fimo experiences are not the happiest also. But I guess I was not patient enough and used the wrong type of fimo. But using YOUR INSTRUCTIONS for whatever is always a happy guarantee :-))))) Hugs again, take care, stay healthy, happy in your new home and creative!
Since one year, I wanted to tell you something I always forget. Old ladies syndrom ;-)))) How about creating papers under inspiration of aboriginies art (pointilism) and Red Indian inspirations. Wonderful colors, wonderful music, wonderful spirit, great totems. And pointilism is a technique that almost forces use to hold in, be quite, relax, evaluate, revover and enjoy the colors and the grow process of the piece of art. Hugs!
I've thought about that and have wanted to but I 'm worried that I may not do the culture justice. I want to make sure that a paper collection with this theme be done with absolutely the utmost respect. I'm always worried about offending someone if I get it wrong
@@LunarSunCreations I see your point and understand it well. Maybe one day there is a possibilitiy of doing a project like that with Natives TOGETHER. The new generation has a more moderate kind of dealing with the problems in the past I persume. And they are all interested in preserving their culture. But it is easy to hurt them too. You are absolutely right. One has to be very cautious. Hope you are happy in your new home and enjoy and appreciate every minute. South west of BC offers all. You are really priviledged! A quick question on technique, on page 1, where you open up and then lift a flap up to reveal the orchids over two pieces of card, do you just cut that picture, in this case the orchids, or do you cut a little bit off to keep it in correct perspective? I have cut a picture in two on smaller items... I'm just not sure if that's the way to do it... ps, I made an orchids and cats book for a friend of mine, and several quick christmas minis from your video last year! I really enjoy them, this had been my house moving year, too... New area, new friends, new home to organise...
Hi Linda, Yes I cut the orchid paper in a way to keep it looking continuous. Moving is hard. I've done it way to many times, but once the physical part of it is done, it's awesome!
