🔥🔥🔥 beat as usual. Yo as far as “Dj Premier Type Scratches” goes, gross beats is a dope plug in to make those type of scratches. There’s a lot of youtube tutorials on how to pull it off. I’ve done it myself on FL. It is kinda time consuming but if you get into it, you can pull it off.
That bass hit the spot, went perfect with the beat. The scratches really pull everything together nicely to and keeps it fresh to the ear, definitely gonna be using them more after watching this
Yo heat huge fan, wondering if you could make a beat with a vibe similar to Jay Electronica’s Exhibit C. One of my favorite beats I have ever heard, and i love that style of drums
So if I don’t have the Serrato sampler, can I find a loop in FL studio, time stretch, pitch it,then put it into the slicer and chop it that way? Sorry for the beginner question, I’m super new but also very interested in learning. Thank you
Serrato just makes things so much easier. Plus you can do a lot of those things in Serrato too. Serrato is $99 but you can download the trial version and use it for 30 days to see how you like it. I have it and i love it!
@@theycallmeheat Ok, I wasn't sure as I stopped listening to modern hip hop since around 2013. All those "tickety tickety tick tick" cymbal sounds started pissing me off, so I just kept listening to the old school Hip Hop which I thought was a lost artform. Jay Dilla, Madlib, Pete Rock and 9th wonder are my favourite producers.
I can hear....myself on this and i cannot, in no way shape or form, rap 😂😂😂 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (the game ft j cole but definitely a “anybody wit bars” type of beat)
How come you won't buy an mpc sampler drum machine since you like boom bap it would be an much easier work flow, and they have everything you need. and you can get better quality sound with hardware gear.
@@theycallmeheat what a prideful tongue for a person with 10 years experience and basic beat, a bunch of G.A.S and sound kit errything. Also did Jdilla not teach you to NOT quantizize everything in order to give it that human feel??! What weak ego you have. All I can say is I hope after 10 years I don’t sound as basic as you.
85/170 is a dope BPM. I really like 87-90, very rarely do I go slower
So what's the difference between them? Why would I choose one over the other? How does it affect nite placements ECT?
Playing at a faster tempo, gives me a certain bounce. Try it out & see how it feels then make your decision from therr
@@theycallmeheat Ah ok so it's a rhythm thing. So it doesn't affect note placements or nothing? Thanks for the video bro, beat is fire 🔥

Yeah, I just can’t get the hang of it. So I always go for the organic ones. Lol, but i’ll have to try it one day

Do you know how to track out the sounds from addictive drums to their own mixer channel? I can't figure it out yet 😂 great beat too 👍
I'm learning how to scratch, I think you should too.

Just started watching your vids; I operate on an MPC. Still respect your craft.
Dope!! Thanks for tuning in fam. 🙏🏽💯💯 everything I show is all principle & can be used in any DAW or sampler.
i didnt check but how do i get my fls to interact wit my serato…. and mpc
well you use Serato Sample as a plugin and use the MPC as a midi controller. should be some vids on how to set that up specially.
🔥🔥🔥

Is boom bap still a thing, are those beats still used by anyone?
Absolutely!! So many artists using those beats today.

I have my eyes on the MPC One. I would probably still structure and mix in FL Studio. But definitely have my eyes on it
@@theycallmeheat that’s my workflow right now it’s pretty solid
Бомба!
Chopped 2 notes of a gospel album 😂 with copy/pasted scratches.
Absolutely, and this beat probably more fire than your best beat!! 💪
