I love the Honda's satin green color. I've got the Teal r9t and everyone loves it too. When you mentioned Eddy Lawson, I then remembered Kail Yarborough of early Nascar days and the fights on the track.🤦♂️💥🥊. You gotta be at least 70 to really remember those days.!! Lol. Never thought you'd get the Red Chrome Classic., but I never thought I'd be getting the Rocker Red GT 650 either. The " retro" of these bikes sure brings the " kids" in us. We only go around one time. Enjoy it whilst your here.!!! 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🏍?🏍? 🙋♂️
As a fellow owner of the red/chrome Classic 350, I think they should come with the following warning... `This motorcycle will quickly get under your skin, find its way to your heart and become very addictive.`
I noticed that you have synthetic oil for your cam change. I was once told not to use synthetic during the break-in. Has that changed for the modern bikes. Ride safe.
That was advised back in the day, but so many bikes come with synthetic oils (this one with synthetic blend), that it’s never discussed any more… Maybe on forums, but you what that’ll get ya! Lol Thanks Jack!! 👍👊
Eddie Lawson…there’s a name that haven’t heard of in a long time. That 40th anniversary Ninja looks all business, Smoak! Nice test rip on the green Scrambler. I bet you are going to have the fastest Classic 350 when you get done. Good stuff Smoak’s!
I’m curious to hear from you how much this higher performance camshaft really increases the power. No need to go faster, but get faster fast would be nice 😀 And also maintain top speed going up hills or riding with a strong front wind would be welcome. Higher top speed as such would not go well with its suspension anyway. Thanks for sharing your experience! Greatly appreciated 👍
Hey Shawn, on oil's, do you have any experience with amsoil motorcycle engine oils that you can share? I have experience with thier automotive oils and have nothing but good to say personally.
How many miles do you have on the Classic now? Are you also doing the valve check? Is it ok to change the cam before the running in period is done? Are you following the running in guidelines in the manual? I have a new Hunter 350 with about 200 miles on it and the running in guidelines seem crazy to me. Top mph for the first 310 miles; 1st gear = 12.42, 2nd gear = 18.64, 3rd gear = 27.96, 4th gear = 37.28, 5th gear = 43.5. Max mph from 311 to 1243 miles; 1st gear = 15.53, 2nd gear = 21.75, 3rd gear = 31.07, 4th gear = 40.39, 5th gear = 49.71. I have been following this so far, but I just don’t know if I should keep trying to adhere to this schedule. I want to run it in properly and do the right thing.

Another cool test ride…man the Honda is a looker👌 Got to love how smooth a Honda runs. Glad to see the oil change all good. Have a great one.👍
When I think "retro" immediately think of the original "Boogy Shoes" by K C and the Sunshine Band. These bikes makes me wanna dance all night.Lol.
Love that green in the scrambler. Congrats on not hitting the horn😂
Haha started watching you when I had a gs and now looking at the Honda :)
Thant's cool..!
Thanks Matt!!
Are you going to be able to do the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. On May 19th?
Man that Honda sounds a sweet motor.
Good stuff!!
That Kawasaki will run a hole in the wind. In business to do nothing but BUSINESS. Hang on. Lol. Stay safe and get some rest.👍🏽😎
