I have thalassophobia and it is terrifying, especially since I love to swim and I love to swim in deep areas! So many things have proven that I have thalassophobia and what makes it worse is that my brain makes images out of anything especially if I can't see, meaning I basically hallucinate when I can't see and scare myself to death.
