This shining moment isn’t necessarily mine, but I was completely overjoyed to be a part of it. A friend of mine is a makeup artist and she had posted a story about a fifteen year old girl who had been hospitalized for over a year due to complications from the flu. She had to go through so much, including amputations, and makeup is the thing she loves most and makes her feel most beautiful. She’s also an aspiring makeup artist. My friend had this idea to surprise her with a whole kit but wasn’t having any luck getting product. I hit up a few of my old colleagues and together we were able to surprise her with an incredible package and hope that she continues to feel as beautiful as she truly is every single day.
As soon as youtube tells me that allana has posted a new video, it brings a smile to my face. I like to finish my day watching your videos in bed, its kind of a therapy. I have gotten over my agoraphobia and him and I watch you together because he wants to do things that I like and he thinks your hilarious and beautiful and thinks Meryl is the cutest kitty. I was just watching you one day and he sat down and was surprised how interested he was. So even if you’re afraid to leave the house, and a bit weird and anxious, you can find someone to like you for you and do things with you no matter what ❤️
I don’t have tons of positive mottos but if there’s one thing I’ve learned during these 30 something years is that things tend to turn out good and like they’re meant to, and it has made my life a lot easier to deal with when I have those bad days or moments of doubt.

I then purchased the ambient lighting powders (bronzer and blushes), then the stick foundation. I LOVE all of them and it's all I wear now! The brand is a little pricey, but the results are SO worth every penny!
I have their honey potion mask and their green screen sunscreen - I like both of them a lot. My skin feels really soft after using the mask, and while the sunscreen can leave a slight white cast, it eventually fades after I work it in a little, and otherwise doesn't leave me feeling greasy or sunscreen-y. Would recommend both products!

I should have bought a backup! I’m glad you realised there was a bronzer, it’s probably my all time favourite bronzer and I hope they bring it out as a single because I have used it everyday since I got it. The nude glow blush is pretty on the eye too. My favourite girl Stylo is Idealist, but now I think I need to get Believer. And I want more of their brushes. Dim Light is my favourite ambient lighting powder and I honestly think it was the best makeup product ever released...it was a game changer for me. Since being in grad school and dealing with some setbacks as a result of my mental health diagnoses and the loss of a family member, I find it difficult sometimes to not be so hard on myself and not compare my progress to that of others. I've been trying to embrace this notion a lot more, and just wanted to pop in and remind everyone else here that YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN JOURNEY, AND THERE AIN'T A DANG THANG WRONG WITH THAT. This is one of your very best looks! I quickly became an Hourglass devotee after buying the Confession lipsticks. I then purchased the ambient lighting powders (bronzer and blushes), then the stick foundation. I LOVE all of them and it's all I wear now! The brand is a little pricey, but the results are SO worth every penny!

I have their honey potion mask and their green screen sunscreen - I like both of them a lot. My skin feels really soft after using the mask, and while the sunscreen can leave a slight white cast, it eventually fades after I work it in a little, and otherwise doesn't leave me feeling greasy or sunscreen-y. Would recommend both products!

I should have bought a backup! I’m glad you realised there was a bronzer, it’s probably my all time favourite bronzer and I hope they bring it out as a single because I have used it everyday since I got it. The nude glow blush is pretty on the eye too. My favourite girl Stylo is Idealist, but now I think I need to get Believer. And I want more of their brushes. Dim Light is my favourite ambient lighting powder and I honestly think it was the best makeup product ever released...it was a game changer for me. Even though the content of my bright shining positive comment doesn't have anything to do with you personally, I feel like I have to share it with your subscribers. When I opened RUclips today I didn't expect a single video to brighten up my mood and restore my faith in humanity but Yes Theory made exactly this happen. In their latest video they dialed random numbers that came into their mind with the aim to meet complete strangers from all over the US. They wanted to prove that it's more likely to meet nice strangers, even though you're bombarded with news about stranger danger all over the internet daily. It made me SO happy to see that they met a wonderful lady with the most positive mindset I've ever experienced, who feeds the homeless daily and is just so open to the world and the people around her. Honeslty, if you're feeling a bit down right now (just like I was when I woke up this morning), go watch their video and let this lady restore your positivity.

here’s something that happened to me recently that I thought was cute and made me feel bright and shiny 🥰 I am a dance teacher and I teach all ages (2-20). The other day one of my students’ mom came up to me and told me how she was having a hard time with kids picking on her at school and that she loves dance so much and hasn’t seen her this happy in a while. Since being in grad school and dealing with some setbacks as a result of my mental health diagnoses and the loss of a family member, I find it difficult sometimes to not be so hard on myself and not compare my progress to that of others. My friends constantly remind me that we are each on our own journey, and that time and progress is all relative to the individual. I've been trying to embrace this notion a lot more, and just wanted to pop in and remind everyone else here that YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN JOURNEY, AND THERE AIN'T A DANG THANG WRONG WITH THAT. It's part of what makes us unique. So try to remember and embrace the good bits of each day, and know that it's all part of where you're supposed to be at that moment.
