I purchased the j pro when I seen the first video and by the way thanks for the discount code that you threw out there it saved me $200. Everyone that sees my interior thinks its a special edition jeep that jeep put out because of the dash
So here are some things I found. 1) It breaks your inverter from operating properly. 2) it disables bluetooth pairing if the radio is reset, 3) it refuses to allow you to change the KM/MI settings in the GPS. Reverted back and can't get the current mileage to match the original. Kinda hate this product right about now!
Hey brother I just installed mine and maybe was wondering if you had any issues. I’ll open my doors and my dome lights are on for about 30 seconds and then the whole power to them shuts off. Have you had any issues like that?
Definitely troublesome. @AdventureDex : Was your engine light actually on (prior to installation) or was this some faulty reading in the JPro? Would drive me bonkers if that was on constantly.

Chuck's Busy they sent me an update to fix the graphics, does not tell you what gear your in for manual. Elevation was removed when I updated it so.... lol ... you don’t get all the features as an automatic which kind of sucks
I have a very hard time spending $1,200 on a product when the website is riddled with spelling errors and broken English. I understand that pretty much everything is made overseas these days, but not getting a native speaker to proofread the website shows a lack of care and attention, and makes me concerned that you're going to see the same kind of thing in the menus of the device itself, which would be completely unacceptable in a product that costs this much.
Be very careful purchasing. They’ll communicate well pre-purchase, but post purchase they offer zero assistance with the product. It’s glitchy and most functions don’t operate properly. Happy to share photos of the chat with them where they said they “simply gave up” on some features because they couldn’t get them to work - like altimeter.

I've got mine worked out except having to use a cardboard cutout to listen to radio at night ignition in accessory, dash will not time out. all lights stay on, to bright!
How easy is this to reverse, in case I ever want to sell my Wrangler and go back to stock? Can I easily update the stock cluster to the current odometer value off the Carobotor? TIA!
It's badass and definitely would spend 1200 on it....if I had 1200 to spend and other mods I need done first, like a lift, wheels and tires, front and rear bumpers, regear.... :(
I love the reviews- not just for the J Pro but after seeing this I watched a bunch of other ones you’ve posted and they are on-point. Needless to say- I subscribed. I have a very important question. The Jk I bought already had the Alpine aftermarket head unit installed from the previous owner, but it’s actually one of the first / Older models so it’s small and the buttons take up most of the space and it’s not android compatible. So question is - you say it will sync up (media and navigation) with the new head unit. Do you know when the head unit is coming out ??? And you did a previous video on a head unit install that was huge and looked great. So I’m assuming it doesn’t sync with that at all? I’m hoping if not - that whatever head unit they are putting out is also as large and running Android as well. I don’t want to buy unless I am buying them both as a package (the digital dash AND the new head unit they are dropping) so I actually get full functionality out of it. Thanks for the videos bro. LMK if you have any idea when the head unit is dropping and is their brand going to be the ONLY brand compatible with the digital dash cluster? Edit: they posted to their own Facebook page a video of the K1 screen they are coming out with “soon” (still no date given) and it does look nice in tandem with the JPro digital dash. It makes sense, it would be much harder to develop a digital dash to sync and work with ALL headunits.

Go watch the Crawl TV follow up..."worst Jeep accessory ever". It's a piece of junk! $350 paperweight. I uninstalled mine after only 3 months. I could've repackaged it and posted it up for sale & got at least 1/2 my money back but I didn't want to end up screwing over the next person with that trash. Anyone else that has it and says different either doesn't know junk when they see it or refuses to admit that their money went to waste. I could name at least 3 other popular RUclipsrs that have installed and initially gave it a thumbs up but have since uninstalled it without doing a follow up, probably hoping nobody noticed. It's a bottom tier single din radio running android with bottom tier specs on a bottom tier LCD screen.

Any issues you’ve noticed with a lagging compass or it taking so long to catch up rendering it irrelevant? Also, have you noticed tpms error until it gets rolling and heated and then registers properly? And lastly, have you noticed the temperature reading for outside temps is way off? Thanks.
Yes, my compass is still off after a few weeks now. This has happened before after changing head units. I just need to find a large parking lot and make several circles. That usually brings it back for me. The compass moves when I travel, just is not synced.
Have a question since I have a 2011 Jeep with no battery voltage on the dash to show. Will installing this give me the battery voltage and actually show me the battery volt I need to see? Let me know.
I am severely pissed off about their customer service. I bought mine several months ago. I noticed that my mileage was at 32900. I drove the jeep and the mileage did go up but when I'm done and park the car I come back later and the milage reset back to the 32900. I what's app with someone for 3 months on and off. He kept having me try several updates which never worked and even had me e mail with an engineer in China. Finally he said they would replace it and that's the last time I have hear from them. I have tried whats app and company e mail with no response for weeks. I even reported them to BBB Canada.I would suggest to not buy this product because of very poor service.
Hello Adventure Dex. I just installed mine today and I love it. I do have a few questions. Does your mileage only show in Kilometers? Does your fuel level always stay on low even after you fill up? Lastly does your hot/cold gauge always stay on the hot level towards the top? Thanks a lot.
Is there an option for the display to be different with a manual transmission? For example, instead of it showing that you’re in (D) for drive or (P) for park. Can it show what gear you’re in?
I bought it for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler and love it. I do have a few issues though. I have messaged them numerous times and still havent fixed it. My 110 outlet doesnt work now and my heated seats stay on when the key is turned off. Do you have a 110 outlet?
Does the oil pressure guage actually work with the JK? I was under the impression the bus (or wathever system component delivers this info) for the JK didnt ouput that info.

Thanks for asking! A lot of people “assume” your being paid cuz your showing off a product. I was very honest in my review. I mentioned that I received a defective unit and they sent me another one that has been working perfectly to this date. Also for the record Carobotor did not pay me to produce the video. My only source of revenue is google ad sense, Amazon affiliate links and merch. If your having an issue with them, I can try help contact them. Hope that helps 👍🏼
Arthur Harmon I contacted the manufacturer via Facebook messenger and they told me that it isn’t compatible with the Alpine unit due to the steering wheel controls. It would conflict with each other

It is interesting that the input/translation from the factory controls to the head unit would affect controls over info screens that currently operate the factory functions with the stock gage cluster successfully. I wonder if they feel this is due to the Alpine occupying the ODBII port for vehicle info? Anyway... Thanks for sharing.👍
Were you able to calibrate your tire PSI? My factory cluster was spot on. I am running actual of 28 PSI all around but J Pro says 31.9 PSI all around. Thanks.

The check engine light was due to an oil pressure sensor. 👍🏼 it was replaced and the light is off

The compass being 90 degrees off to the right would drive me nuts. Otherwise, great product.

carplay wont be able to use. Google Maps will be displayed in the Jpro. On the k1 you are able to use every android navigation app

The factory dash for 3.6L has 100 Miles as the top speed on but this digital says 120??

Does it work in place of a flashcal to tell the vehicle computer you have bigger tires installed for accurate speedo readings?
No but that is an awesome idea that perhaps can be provided in a software update.

Can you change the colour of the Jeep? Also you have had it for a while now have you had any issues at all and does it need like updates at all?
Is there an option for the display to be different with a manual transmission? For example, instead of it showing that you’re in (D) for drive or (P) for park. Can it show what gear you’re in?

I bought it for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler and love it. I do have a few issues though. I have messaged them numerous times and still havent fixed it. My 110 outlet doesnt work now and my heated seats stay on when the key is turned off. Do you have a 110 outlet?
Does the oil pressure guage actually work with the JK? I was under the impression the bus (or wathever system component delivers this info) for the JK didnt ouput that info.

Yes, it dims using the oem dimmer on the stalk.

It started days a week after I got it but progressively got worse. They sent me a new one in a week. The new one has no issues. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for asking! A lot of people “assume” your being paid cuz your showing off a product. I was very honest in my review. I mentioned that I received a defective unit and they sent me another one that has been working perfectly to this date. Also for the record Carobotor did not pay me to produce the video. Arthur Harmon I contacted the manufacturer via Facebook messenger and they told me that it isn’t compatible with the Alpine unit due to the steering wheel controls. It would conflict with each other
@@qamoah Thanks for the information. It is interesting that the input/translation from the factory controls to the head unit would affect controls over info screens that currently operate the factory functions with the stock gage cluster successfully. I wonder if they feel this is due to the Alpine occupying the ODBII port for vehicle info? Anyway... Thanks for sharing.👍

Were you able to calibrate your tire PSI? My factory cluster was spot on. I am running actual of 28 PSI all around but J Pro says 31.9 PSI all around. Thanks.
