Ok, I couldn't help but laugh at the end because the music is this industrial, low, heavy drum beats that reflect how Mir is angry, seething, ready to take his revenge and hurt others... and then there's Lyner who's clearly going through Stupid With Love.
I'm living and dying for it.

My thoughts exactly
FACTS
so what i get from this, and this is just my theory:
- mir was the son of a cult leader, or someone completely ousted from his peoples society for some taboo
- the other leader figure, the one with round glasses, was a former friend of mirs parent and saw that this cult posed a massive danger to their people, thus casting them out yet feeling bad for mir because he had no true part in this
- mir and round glasses formed a very strong mentor student relationship, and mirs parent was not at all happy that he was straying from the path they wanted him to follow
- cult leader stages a sort of coupe, and round glasses is killed in a last ditch effort to keep things fine. mir moves to strike back, but lena gets to them first
- mir seems to go... somewhat willingly?? and seems oddly neutral for just having witnessed his guardian die
edit: so mir may have been dissociating for a good many of these events, and he may have just shut down emotionally. given that lena was the only adult left after losing both glasses and his parent, he may have had no choice for his own survival.

I’d say he looks extremely neutral about everything since he lost both of his main guardians in such a short period of time so he kinda just shut down emotionally
Mir at the end looks like some people dissociate under the stress, just sorta go numb
But if he attacked his mom, why was he working for her people and going to kill Lyner?
@@catkid3456 cults tend to brain wash people, and he looks really young so he may have had no choice but to work w them. and this may have been the first time he ever had the courage to try and physically fight back too. Just an idea though

If mir had a nickel for every time they were a key part of a coup but ended up back tracking at the last possible moment after a loved one turned out to be the uprising first assassination target, he’d have two nickels. Not a lot but jesus christ how did he even end up with two???
So Mir was in a cult and treated really badly, and the queen was friends with the only person who was nice to him? 3:30 Maybe she got messages from them about him. When the friend was killed, she came and took revenge, taking Mir with her after? But why betray her and Lyner if she rescued him and killed the person who killed his friend, too? What happened to make him do that? I am so into this!!!!!!
If I’m right in the I’m a wolf animatic, it’s revealed that the queen was the one who attacked Mir’s home planet when he was a child causing him to be alone and end up in this cult. So that could explain why he betrayed her despite her taking him in
Could also be that she took revenge from him? Also she killed like... almost everyone not just the person that hurt him AND destroyed the whole planet on top of that so maybe he’s betraying her not for the fact he killed that one person but that she wiped out everyone, even those who were quite possibly innocent bystanders? Idk I haven’t kept up with the lore in quite a while

I just realized, Mir's mothers glasses are narrow, showing she's narrowed minded and mean, while the round glasses lady is more open minded and kind.
this is one hell of an example of having a shitty mom, and admiring some one as a good mother figure! dig the duality

not only does this song give me another angry biking song to ride to but also solidifiying one of my own characters and giving more flavor to their own backstory. you do such an amazing job and I am investedin this si-fi fantacy!

OMGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am in love with the way u do storytelling and how u can use a single frame 2 speak volumes,, the way its paced is rlly good cuz its like alot of contrast in both perspective and moods, bcuz on one hand u see a supposed utopia and a flourishing place, and then u see the abuse that mir endures and the burden he's saddled with,, and then it cuts back to happy memories mir shares.. its almost brutal how different they are and how throughout the animatic u can see the childlike wonder he always had being stamped out by the circumstances of his childhood,, it all builds up to a culmination but its still really steady with subtle rises in intensity!!! it fits with the music bc despite it having a direction its very consistent with its beat until the very end, and i think it reflects well because of how u set up the brighter moments in mir's life,, so when u see things that are so dead like bodies or mir's empty stare or his age-old anger its just. so Strong. because you know its been building u know its Been There but when it finally hits it still feels like a goddamn tidal wave because it disrupts the harmony subconsciously established when u watch it- and God the fact that no matter where mir goes he's reminded of his past and turned from curious and vivacious to jaded and despondent its just :(((
also. of course i dont think i need to say this bc its exceedingly obvious but ur ANIMATION!!!!!!!! not just for cool action scenes but for more small movements or changes in expression ?? its fantastic. it has weight to it with the way that it moves around and theres always a purpose!! it draws attention despite the amazing detail u put into the crowds and the scenery to differentiate the different places in the animatic,,, it just. it really shines through! even the little edited bits where the camera's focus changes r rlly good and overall its just really interesting!!!!! four minutes is a LOT animation wise and song wise but story wise its Incredibly small so i applaud u for having the ability to piece it all together so well!!!!!!!!! hehehe i have my theories but ill keep them 2 myself ;D

I have never seen your channel before, however was looking for a few new animatic storytelling channels i could follow as i hope to soon start my own. I have quite honestly never seen an animatic that has such a clear story without needing to know the characters already. The way you communicate the emotions throughout clever shots, the trauma is genuinely traumatic and it is though you're there with the character along the way. The motherly figures death is so genuinely emotional and so well done, you can see the conflict in the child's eyes. Your style, too, is consistent throughout, and although it doesn't have color, the characters are easily distinguishable. Please finish it, it is so good!!
