Hello bump love.. please advise me on the language issue that my babies should speak..i love it when they have good command of English but my husband and the people surrounding are into luganda so much and me I love English what can I do..?
You people I was in a long distance relationship for seven years and it's communication that kept us moving, we could talk about everything as in everything, we knew each onez day program even at work when the meeting like everything, we used to talk about his and my workmates and by names and some time he would call me and ask me to talk to the salon baber and tell him the hair cut I want him to cut . We could have the appropriate time that could favour both of us and we go out and we could have fun like on video call banange we had luganbo and the most memorable day is when he invited me to the country where he was leaving and reaching the airport guys! you know these guys that hold the charts with names at arrival my fiance was holding one with my name 😘 guys I was extremely happy. But guys I was there for three months I had to come back this year in February and he came back in May the same year But guys guess what we are now leaving together but we both miss long distance relationship. Thank you bump love you always make my Fridays colourful, love you ladies.
I'm in a long distance relationship and we're now in the 3rd year, the 2nd year has been very hard where we would argue and even not talk for a week but our determination to make things work brought us back together. We are not yet married, no kids yet but hes working hard so that we can afford our dream life. And me myself I'm studying for my first degree and building my skincare brand so I use this time to fill in the holes in my life and prepare spiritually, emotionally and psychologically. We talk everyday and each day we talk like we've just met, tge stories get better and better we're just like besties now. We dont struggle with trust or dishonesty anymore and we make sure to communicate everyday when a have a chance. So i wish those in a LDR to have hope and pray.
😂😂😂 for the first time I've heard Pumla ending a story of a relationship with a happy ever after 😂😂😂 at some point I thought she was going to say he disturbed my peace and I chased him... Besides the fun, such a sweet story our Pumla . I now have another reason to thank God for the lockdown.
When Pumla starts her story with "Me! Anyway, " just know the story is going to be interesting.😊 I think it's important for parents to explain to the children why Daddy is away. Children are sponges that absorb everything. The feeling of rejection sets in, so its important to keep assuring them about what dad is doing and how it is helping the family, and eventually, we will all be together. When kids hear this, they repeat those exact words. So thankful for social media platforms, internet, airtime wifi and smart phones.❤
Eeeh this topic .. me i cannot write a whole book about long distance relationships… i didnt know i could handle one because am an over thinker, the jealous type .. but eeeh you people i have been in a long distance marriage for almost 6years .. 🙌🙌🙌 but i think its all bout goals that makes it work .
Pumula 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you distress moi sweets always waiting to hear Pumula and Rosette's bu stories on the topics. All of you ladies are interesting in your own ways. Angie with your stress free soft voice humm mukyala Mulondo hand in hand with your sense of humour and my spiritual beauty Mukyala Mwine.I love you ladies.
I agree with Racheal about growing coz me ,I hard an everyday husband and enjoyed it but when the marriage became long distance,I enjoy it more ,I love my space and I never wa to go back
Rosette looking so good. On my end it is me who moves a lot because of my nature of work. Thumbs up to women like me and a supporting husband. We have managed and are managing
My long distance relationship lasted longer than 5 years and when we finally lived together it lasted 6months.Sometime you may never know the other individual when you are far apart it's not until you live together you get to know that you really never knew each other.
@ahimbisibwegloria8660 Hmmm I tell you for more than 5yrs we were very compatible. To the best of my anyway but six months after our wedding we really hated each other,we couldn't stand each other and totally different, and then we separated and the separation was an ugly one.
I had an almost similar experience though mine was short and didn’t go on to marriage. The issue is starting out long distance and by the time you get to be in proximity, it’s already a relationship(even though you don’t know each other well enough)
i dated my now husband for 5years. we were staying in different cities. 5 to 6 hours drive. i liked it bcoz i was a busy person. i was working during the week and schooling over the weekend. so the phone relationship was doing it for me. then we got married and we got to be staying in the same house since he got transferred to my city. thats when i tasted the togetherness. with his job, he travels alot. but the longest he has been away is 3weeks so we are okay. BUT, we now have a year old daughter and she's the one who has a problem with his travelling. she cries and has moods whenever he travels. almost everynight she cries. and in those moments, we video call. its rly saving us soon after the call, she sleeps so well. when she wakes up again in the middle of the night, we call again. but when the dad is busy, sheeeyyyy, she'll not sleep
Been 10yrs in it with 3 kids. tips :find urself..as in find joy in other things or just keep urself busy kubanga, ur heart might just explode when u concentrate on just the relationship. Plus ofcourse it gets easier when the love and feelings reduce then ur left with just the bond or something else to hold on to..perhaps kids
My husband and I were in a long distance relationship for 3 years before getting married. Luckily for us, we used to see each other atleast 2 or 3 times a year and always planned our next meet before the end of the last one. The best part was the reunion sex and the worst part was all the goodbyes and staying up late in the night for calls. There were lots of tears, some fights where we wouldn't talk for about 2-3 days, and lots of beautiful experiences. Ever since Covid happened he's been working from home and i really miss those days when we had a chance to miss each other. Now we are stuck together everyday, the marriage is great but sometimes i need that space away from him for a few days atleast. All in all, i can testify that it works. Especially if there's a good friendship as the foundation of the relationship. It makes communication easy, there's no jealousy and theres always something to look forward to. Thanks for this episode, i find it quite relatable
I have been in only long distance relationships and they have always worked just fine. The greatest lesson i have learned is to COMMUNICATE consistently. That was a common killer for all those relationships because the other gender never thinks it’s important to schedule and have communication channels in place.
Rachael, I'm a Kenyan lady in a long distance relationship with a Ugandan man and we have an 8 month old baby......and my story of meeting is interesting, I travel a lot.......
Thank you for this episode. I am married to a pilot with 2 kids n we studied together so we moved from always together in flight sch to him traveling everywhere every day so yes here I am with strong experience n lessons in long distance marriage. It takes Christ because believe me human nature cannot stay in the marriage. 😅...
I am in a long distance relationship; I have managed this through prayers and I also enrolled for school to keep busy- most importantly in this relationship we talk 2 hours everyday so as to keep it going 😊thanks for the session though ….
I am in one, we have 2 children we'll be celebrating 5 years married next week. He's been out of the country since December 2021. It's not easy, but with God we are moving on. I don't encourage anyone to take that direction. We thought it would help coz we need the money naye bambi😒😒
Long distance has been my cup,i dated in long distance 4years ,first 6 years of marriage in long distance. Now we have lived together married 4 years many many lessons.I have a story to tell. Thanks to Bump love for this episode.
Being IN the long distance relationship is the easy part, the hard part is when you start living together after being together apart for so long. I was in a LDR for 7 months and it was fantastic. We always looked forward to seeing each other every other weekend and talking about what we would do to each other was so hot lol. However, once we started living together we started seeing tiny little behaviours that were so annoying to each other. It took us over a year to get into a groove and now, 4 years later we are soo madly in love and are planning our wedding next year. All this to say that sometimes the long distance may be what keeps the spark, and once it’s gone, you may just find out that the person you thought you loved was a different person, and it takes commitment and dedication to reignite the flame
Thanks Pretty Brain Lady for sharing… we are in the same pot and true it’s personality… & please be positive, God is the protector & God can’t give you why you can’t handle. I had to leave the country with my two kids after one year of our wedding… with my daughter was 2 years & my son was just months …. But yes God is protecting and yes we shall win🙏.. this is so Encouraging & Wooh I am happy that their are people who think like me 🤣
I think am also like Pumla, he left me in kampala and went to work in Mbarara but in a month I had asked for a transfer and followed him but also he would over complain about me not being with him so its just to know who your person is, then also discovering yourself like you said is key so that you are not only thinking of feelings. Thanks ladies.
It's today that i found out i need to get friends coz look my husband is my olny friend, imagine how depressed it can become if he left me. Thnx ladies av picked a leaf
I feel like actually some relationships are standing because they are long distance. But Rosette and Pumla's dresses are lovely exactly my style i wish i was in Uganda i could visit that shop 😍
Timely episode....This morning i just talked to my bf who mentioned sth about flying out the country. (Greener pastures) I told him, " if u ever go, the relationship is done. Because i dont do long distance relationships"
Me I was in a long distance relation in first year of campus. I was at mubs and him at muk. I was aon a boda every weekend to muk naye tebyali byangu. Even on weekends where I had courseworks,I would make sure I go after my papers. But after that relationship ended, I can assure you that it can never be me in a LDR again.
Am in a long distance relationship now 3 years and we doing okay. The only thing that doesn't make me ever think or even have insecurities is because he took a flight to where i am to ask me for a relationship. That keeps me because people says lots but this is the person i have been friends with for like 6 years .and relationship 3 years. Communication is key:my love language is acts of love..he celebrates my birthday even from a distance i get delivery tgose special days its well.he pays his tickets when he is to come. As for horn like the guest said. Work ,home laundry etc keeps you busy even to think of infidelity... Yes its tough but its possible
Wow,the Lord is good I almost asked about how to handle long distance relationships in your DM but the good Lord who sees in our hearts decided to let you answer me before I asked wow❤💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
Long distance relationship is not for the weak, sometimes you feel like crying on video calls.overthinking wen you dont know wether your partner is busy or just ignoring you
Beautiful topic as for mi uuum mine ended well, first we were together for 1 yr n a half then he moved back to his country we kept on communicating n dont forget communication is key n believe u mi in that one yr apart l moved to his country got married in a week's tym n still together to date with 3 kids twins inclusive since 2014.
Be it a long-distance relationship, but there is something sexy about a lady who knows herself and knows what she is about. Big up Mrs Musisi, pretty sure Mr Musisi misses the Kids but he is sure you and the Fam are in good hands May God continue to bless your Marriage

Long distance relationships are a big scam... Ladies don't be tempted to go for one.... You are wasting your youthful time

Being IN the long distance relationship is the easy part, the hard part is when you start living together after being together apart for so long. I was in a LDR for 7 months and it was fantastic. Long distance relationship is not for the weak, sometimes you feel like crying on video calls.overthinking wen you dont know wether your partner is busy or just ignoring you
If you feel like he is ignoring you, it's true that he is 😂
Beautiful topic as for mi uuum mine ended well, first we were together for 1 yr n a half then he moved back to his country we kept on communicating n dont forget communication is key n believe u mi in that one yr apart l moved to his country got married in a week's tym n still together to date with 3 kids twins inclusive since 2014.
Be it a long-distance relationship, but there is something sexy about a lady who knows herself and knows what she is about. Big up Mrs Musisi, pretty sure Mr Musisi misses the Kids but he is sure you and the Fam are in good hands May God continue to bless your Marriage
Thank you of Lugave 😊
It's the best because of the freedom. Am really enjoying it
