I just loved the look on Bob's face when he said, "he was a sergeant, by the way," and Lee called him out on it. They were BOTH cracking up. Good stuff!
I can't believe Adil's story about the Indian pizza and the phone call to his father got cut from the show. It is one of my all time favourite stories from WILTY.
18:03 "As opposed to World of Cork in Wax"😂 Mel is flipping hilarious 😂 Bob once again "truthing" David to frustration 😂😂 this was an awesome episode!!😅😊❤🎶🎵🔥🔥
I love how adamant David is to not do anything other than sit and be funny unless he absolutely has to. If you ask him to do anything else, he *might* do it, but he's gonna say something first. lol
Bob is David’s antithesis. They clash in a lot of fundamental ways- the lack of logic behind Bob’s stories riles David up and makes for good entertainment, especially with Lee and Bob bouncing off each other
I don't totally know the rules, are they allowed to lie about the story while telling the truth? spoiler question below: . . . . . Like the names of the people in Bob's story can't be real are they??
@@ProdCritic Details like names are inconsequential only if they sound believable and unremarkable. If they sound questionable then people will factor that into their decision about whether the overall story is true or false. WILTY is a just panel show so the stakes are low but they should still have rules that make sense. If someone can't remember a name and they're telling a true story they should make up a normal-sounding name. Unless they're Bob Mortimer, he's a special case and should get an exemption from that rule
This is the reason I find Bob unbearable. He inserts glaringly untrue details into otherwise true stories. Other people find him interesting for this very reason.

Mortimer is the greatest. I always look forward seeing him.
I want so much more Bob Mortimer.
The gulf stream story is one of the best things I've ever heard, and I will never get tired of it

Yes, I was waiting for that one too. I must have seen it only in one of the 'extra bits' compilation videos. "There WAS no open day!"
Might be in the best of for the season I'm guessing
There’s NOOOOOOOOO! UNIVERSITY!!!
I think it was just too long for the episode format
It's a good sign. They had too much good material to air and saved it for Best Bits. (I love this episode.)
I’ll never tire of Bob unravelling David like a tattered rug 😅
Bob is like a kid in a candy shop and David is the owner of said candy shop 😂💜
David Mitchell absolutely losing it at the end is fantastic
I mean that memory trick for the teletubbies is soooo stupid and utterly brilliant at the same time. I love it.
I will never not laugh at David losing it at the end. The delivery is absolutely perfect.
I loved Mel's first story, "that much is true!". Brilliant.
I dont care that shes 20 years my senior, Mel Giedroyc is my absolute celebrity crush
Totally get it. Mel is a funny, intelligent and attractive woman and also - as proven in taskmaster - officially nice.
You must be around 10 because, at least to me, she’s not a day over 30. Of course, I’m old as shit.
Never a good idea to doubt Bob.
Bob is so good at this that Mel and Lee start roll count him Too!
Start to doubt him, too!
Lee's memory tricks at the end are excellent examples of how to remember things

Bob Mortimer is just like a kid in a candy shop and David Mitchell is like the owner of said candy shop. 😂💜
Lee making David lose his mind with the Teletubbies story! 😂
Someone having a banana was probably the most British audience response ever.
Definitely 😂
Every time I hear Bob’s story I die of 😂
Si 😮
Bob Mortimer on WILTY might be the best celebrity on a game show EVER
Agreed. He's hard to beat!!😊
I am David in the teletubby situation 😂
When Mel says "entered him," don't know why, but it cracks me up everytime 😭
Bob Mortimer rules!

00ñ0😊
Watching David lose it was amazing. (27:47)
I love davids crusher story
Thank you for posting
I'm disappointed that we never found out why that woman was carrying a banana.
They're British, you can't walk down a hallway without seeing someone with a banana in their hands
To eat it probably
💕I Love WILTY 🙃🙂💕
I would've loved to be at the studio for Mel's "I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar"
If Rob bought a country, I hope it would be called Brydonia
“I hope you will forgive us, but we’re in Castle Douglas.”
For Lala, Lee could've said “Lala banana” because they're yellow.
Lee had finally managed to break David.
Sergeant bytheway is god tier quick wit oooo
Why was Bob never on David’s team?

@@arche2460 Yes, I think this is a very good analysis.
You don't get the concept of entertainment do you?
@@ratedRblazin420 I’m sure you’ve written a white paper on it.

Genius show 👏
Keep on laughing

Kian is as funny as cataract.
But David’s jacket looks nicer than Rob’s jacket…
I only recognize Lee's team, David, and Rob.
What Mel did with the cake. I did with fruit for the film crew of ocean's 12.

The lack of diversity here is really upsetting.
Agitator
Isn't this a British show? Or am I too stupid to understand the joke
@@Jojosization there was only one woman and one person of color out of 7 people. That is a lack of diversity.
Which colour?
