Oliver definitely recognised being back home, loved seeing him zooming around checking on everything and re-familiarizing himself with it.
I know, right? It's so clear that he recognized being home. He also remembered the spot on the bedroom dresser where we used to put his favorite bones. Later that evening he sat on the edge of the bed next to the dresser so he could check whether his bones were still there. (They weren't, but we'll put some new ones there!)

With so much bad stuff going on all around us, these videos are total therapy. We loved following Oliver's journey for the last several years, but especially the California adventure. Oliver is truly blessed. ❤

Yes, he definitely remembered! We think he's really happy about being back. He especially seems to like how the living room here is so big and he can run in circles around the kitchen table.

Yyyyaaaayyyy Oliver!!!! He’s so cute with his waggy tail inspecting all the rooms then realizing ... bit by bit ... he’s home!! The bed pounce/tail-wagging was thoroughly adorable!!! Then he finds his favorite step!!
So sad when Oliver left us in California but he's so happy to be back home and when Oliver is happy, we're all happy!🥰💜

There's no need to thank us, the Oliver fans, we don't need thanking, we all watch regardless....it's more a case of thank you, all three of you for firstly taking us all on the trip to Cali, secondly your year there and all that Oliver was able to experience the for first time, truly memorable moments for you all, and lastly the road trip home, Oliver meeting your parents...and the stunning scenery around BC was just beautiful.
Seeing Olivers excitement at returning home was just a sheer joy to watch, his realisation of "home sweet home at last" was just toooooooooo cute for words. Looking forward to many more chronicles of Oliver and him getting back to the familiar places we all watched him grow up in.

I've watched the return home segment several times now, and I think Oliver realizes he really is home at 12:22 when he jumps on the bed. He quickly runs out and checks all the rooms upstairs as well as checking the stairs leading up to the special step and it's just as he remembered it. That bed was his reference point i feel like. Then he goes hyper after that. So very adorable.
Oliver’s trip back home was so good to see. Oliver has tested the grass and beds at so many of the stops along the journey home.
Yes, he really does seem to like the fresh, clean sheets on the hotel beds!!

I love how incredibly excited Oliver was on arrival, inspecting every nook and cranny of His beautiful home! He's so lucky to have such great daddio's to love and care for him and who provide great adventures for him...except for being on the water! Oliver said he wasn't too keen on that. 💙❣️🐶
