Silvio knows. He's been with Tony for decades. He's seen him get visibly upset over Tracee's death, a woman not even related to him, and who was 'property' to the rest of them. He saw him get upset over Tony B's death, even if he was putting on a brave face. But Chrissy? Tony shows nothing but concern for himself, and disinterest in Chrissy. Sil knows, but as his consigliere, he won't contradict Tony's story. It is telling, that visibly, Paulie is the most banged up about Chrissy's death. They fought, but when you look at Paulie's relationships with everyone, they're pretty antagonistic. He loved Chrissy in his own way. More than Tony ever did.
thebeatmaster 400 You learn something new everyday... I thought I watched the Sopranos thoroughly, but man!! how in the hell did I miss Sil's eyebrow raise??? Wow... great catch my friend 😎😎😎
There’s a clip where Chris and Eugene get made and a crow appears on the windowsill of the basement. And here we hear a crow cawing the morning following chris’ death.
"Seems like that's the cause of death" had the same ring as "There is no Mafia!" Tony isn't a good liar. Obviously that was the cause of death. He tried too hard to push the lie.
Yep No one would ever say that unless they were tying to as you say "push it". And I admit that I would be tempted to say that if I killed him. Shakespeares 'thou doth protests too much' thing.
Feel like everyone in Tony’s crew was suspicious the same way Sil was. Tony at this point had become a loose cannon and a liability. Out of respect, if they acknowledged their suspicions of the boss, they’d be way out of line. Sil was the only one out of his crew that had enough rank/respect to possibly accuse Tony of killing Christopher. Anybody else makes a face like that or shows similar suspicion is getting whacked.
It makes sense. A giveway for a liar is over-explaining. When tony said "suffocated on his own blod" everyone infers that as the cause of death. When tony sayd "seems like that's the cause of death" he is over explaining , and silvio reads it as a sign that something is wrong
I think Tony's social abilities have heavily deteriorated by the end of the show. He was able to scheme and lie and charm, now he can't even feign emotions over the death of his nephew and protege, the man he loved like a son. Maybe only Sil knew, but I am sure the others had their suspicions
Phil was right after all! "They make anyone and everyone over there." The pygmy glorified crew was forced to take anyone because they were getting killed off so quickly. The quick additions of new characters was actually realism.
@@benlawson5939 Does that make it better?! That proves my point! That's even WORSE!! Only those Jersey potato farmin' cocksuckers would let a guy like that in the Boss' bedroom while injured and on convalescence. He's not even a "boss," he's leading a glorified crew! I am depressed and ashamed.
I think Silvio had an inkling something possibly transpired between Christopher and Tony here. He knew he was on the outs with Tony and some of the crew in general and was no longer trusted to be in Tony's inner, inner circle. Tony almost whacked him in season 5 over his outburst over the Adriana thing and also season 4 when he was on heroin.

Wow I am the biggest Sopranos fan you will ever run into and I must admit this one slipped right by me!
No you're not. If you're such a big Sopranos fan, what's the name of Tony's daughter? Is it a) Meadow b) Fielder c) Rose or d) Carmella?
@@JustMe-yu6uu I choose B for a hundred. Final answer. 😰
What’s Tony’s son’s name?
A) AJ
B) Fabio
C) Whiner
D) Douchebag

I thought I watched the Sopranos thoroughly, but man!! how in the hell did I miss Sil's eyebrow raise???
Wow... great catch my friend 😎😎😎
Facial expressions are worth more than 1000 words in this show. Ugh, how I miss it The Sopranos...
Just keep rewatching. Lol that's what I do
And covering his nose and mouth whatever happened there..
Facial expressions like when Johnny Sac tells Tony about the 90lbs mole joke and Tony says “That’s deplorable.”
That guy constantly bringing up Carlo made it very obvious that he knew Carlo was a rat in retrospect. Nice detail.
Ive watched the series like 5 times & just caught you hear the bird in the beginning of this scene. Referring to the bird when Chris gets made
well-spotted, I've watched that scene a half-dozen times and ever noticed Sil's clear reaction
Tony trying too hard to give details on Chris' death, makes him more suspicious lol.
Silvio didn’t know, he just makes those facial expressions
There’s a clip where Chris and Eugene get made and a crow appears on the windowsill of the basement. And here we hear a crow cawing the morning following chris’ death.
Odin? Nah. Odin's not in to Moolies.
Paulie's floppy face lol. "Almost put me through a bwillbwoard"
“Mr. Sil is here” lmfao
Hahaha. That cracked me up
He very smart man.
"Seems like that's the cause of death" had the same ring as "There is no Mafia!" Tony isn't a good liar. Obviously that was the cause of death. He tried too hard to push the lie.
Yep
No one would ever say that unless they were tying to as you say "push it".
And I admit that I would be tempted to say that if I killed him.
Shakespeares 'thou doth protests too much' thing.
even motions with his hand towards his nose in the manner he killed off Chris.
Bobby always the first to speek when it gets quiet in these situations, stand up guy
Dr Deuteron I don’t know man. That’s reaching a bit far
@Dr Deuteron yeah that went too far
Sil is virtually all knowing and all seeing. Nothing gets past him except a flush.
😂😂😂😂
Feel like everyone in Tony’s crew was suspicious the same way Sil was. Tony at this point had become a loose cannon and a liability. Out of respect, if they acknowledged their suspicions of the boss, they’d be way out of line. Sil was the only one out of his crew that had enough rank/respect to possibly accuse Tony of killing Christopher. Anybody else makes a face like that or shows similar suspicion is getting whacked.
Among all the psychopaths on this show, Sil was probably the wisest.
The impressive thing about the actor that plays Sil is that apparently he's also a pretty successful musician as a side gig.
He's primarily a musician.
pretty successful? My man Sil has 2 bosses! haha
“ our chrissy “ sil loved him and paulie did too in his own way. Paulie wanted what chrissy had with tony. Breaks my heart stilll
Didn't pick that up first time chase is a mind bender
It's the way he says "seems like that's the cause of death" so clinically.
It makes sense. A giveway for a liar is over-explaining. When tony said "suffocated on his own blod" everyone infers that as the cause of death. When tony sayd "seems like that's the cause of death" he is over explaining , and silvio reads it as a sign that something is wrong
The bird you hear in the beginning is the same bird that was in the window when Chrissy was made
Wow after all this time never picked up on it, they put that little snippet to indicate Sil knew. This is why this is the best show ever.
Tony was in alot of car smashes
after watching this entire thing front to back at least 5 times im stilling finding so many little details like this that are huge
silvio again with the people's champ eyebrow.
I think Tony's social abilities have heavily deteriorated by the end of the show. He was able to scheme and lie and charm, now he can't even feign emotions over the death of his nephew and protege, the man he loved like a son. Maybe only Sil knew, but I am sure the others had their suspicions
The crow was my favourite character on the show I'm glad they did so much with him.
The guy on the left---when they have to add more characters because so many have been killed off. The guy who ends up killing Phil Leotardo
Phil was right after all!
"They make anyone and everyone over there." The pygmy glorified crew was forced to take anyone because they were getting killed off so quickly. The quick additions of new characters was actually realism.
@@keldonmcfarland2969 he wasn't made thought
@@benlawson5939
Does that make it better?! That proves my point! That's even WORSE!! Only those Jersey potato farmin' cocksuckers would let a guy like that in the Boss' bedroom while injured and on convalescence. He's not even a "boss," he's leading a glorified crew!
I am depressed and ashamed.
Interesting you can tell the season by the lighting.
This scene made references to the concerns with Carlo and his reliability. Brilliantly placed.
i know they just repeated the clip at the end but i like to imagine that albert channeled everyone there and made everyone repeat themselves
Can you imagine that, I channeled everyone there and made everyone repeat themselves?
wow very subtle moment, glad you caught it.
Mr Toni Mr sil is here👈🏾In walks 4 people 😂
Mrs Carmela
They always opened up subtle and obvious scenes like this so they can possibly use it later as storyline and in a lot of cases it never was used.
Wow, just realized the crow at the beginning of the scene. Referencing the crow at the window when Chris was being made and he thought it was a bad omen
RIP Spider
"Hey Spider what's your rush?"
The fact he double-took, then said the words “seems like”…..dead giveaway.
Pun intended.
I like how they repeated the exact same exchange two or three times to emphasize that Tony was the one that did it. Just another example of David Chase's brilliance. Never another show like it
This video actually replays the last exchange, just to emphasize Sil's reaction to "Seems like that's the cause of death."
It was only said once, but Sil's reaction is very telling.
😂
@@sakuraba86 sharp as a fucking cueball this one.
Last thing I remember is.....couple of black guys flipped the car and ran that way
Sil definitely figured it out. Very odd thing for Tony to say “Seems like that’s the cause of death”. Sil was smart enough to have figured it out from that.
If was so weird they replaced Chris with another young guy who kinda looked like Chris. But to me, the new guy just didn't really fit in. He was just there to replace Chris.
I guess you could say, Sil was a wise guy..
I always remember thinking Christopher probably would have died anyway after the injuries he sustained, and although he did it because of the baby seat and because it was the final
straw in their relationship....probably did him a favour.
I wonder what was up with dude that kept saying Carlo was coming? He knew something
Just realized the crow at the beginning
Holy sht. I never caught Sil's eyebrow raise
Sil musta' thought, "how the fk does Tony know that?"
This is a great piece dude.
Very introspective.
I still dont think Tony died in the end.
I dont💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔🙏
Time stamp?
That's fine and all, but how much time did Phil spend in the can?! Why won't they reveal this to us
Silvio needs an Oscar for that facial expression
When tony said seems like that’s the cause of death and made a scribble cross sil knows he did it
Silvio is smart asf lol
Anyone else notice the crow in the very beginning of this video? When Chris Moltisanti was getting made he was watching The Crow stare at him through the window.
Now Chris is dead and we hear the crow talking, the crow is Chris!
TheSeattlegreen thought he was the cat
