Wow, just within a minute in, Caedrel setting goals for each member to achieve is a good thing! Kudos to one of the top comments last video telling about setting goals for each player to achieve mainly with each game and focus to integrate that later on to prevent burnout on the rats!
Caedrel, also a quick tip if tilting ever gets too hard and they despair a little too much after a rough day, like maybe Velja did during those scrims: It helps a lot that you are saying, they are better than this, but what else you could try is that after those games, they should tell themselves three things that went well today. Even if they are miniscule, like: I played fight xyz great, I called out my position good today etc. Just that they also reinforce the little and positive things, because we as humans, especially in a competitive enviroment tend to focus more on the fuckups than the positives, when we reflect. And this helps recall the good things that were achieved that day.
Excellent observation. there is a natural tendency to Fix Problems, which can feel like criticism if overload. Important to point out what went well. In similar vein: Bauss' play-style is his signature - and HELPS the team. Should not be constantly criticized - it's part of what makes him strong and what helps the team take objectives (when he holds off 2-3 enemies).
Huge agreement, if your players only focus on what went wrong it can really affect mental. It's definitely good to praise the players for what they did good in combination with what went wrong! :)
I love the fact they incorporate the discussion after the game, and I love seeing all the guys have different opinions on certain things, but talking it through showing everyone’s perspective and the talk continues till they reach a resolution. Something we don’t get to see enough in professional sports.
It really started to show these days why people consider Rekkles the goat of the west. His thought process, communication, game sense, and attitude are all incredibly strong. He may not have had many opportunities to show it in Korea, but I hope this opportunity for him to shake up the community in League goes places.
I feel like he has a heavy secure and fall back style. This shows team chemistry is key in pro play. When he played for G2 in his last adc split it showed how the team’s style didn’t fit and this resulted in 2 camps- rekkles fanboys hating on G2, and vice versa. Personally i had my concerns with this team having 3 former LEC players and an “amateur” coach. Great to see them making it work and grats to velja not staying in the shadows. Surely a big team will come asking for him sooner or later.
@@alexqq14 as a long time Rekkles fan, even I would not dare to argue about that, Caps is the goat of the west, and Rekkles is one of the all time greats for sure!
Velja has a point, unless there is a zz rot portal meta, the best team comp is what team comp suits LR best and their playstyle. Having a team comp that you dont squeeze its benefits isn't broken
God i f*cking love this team so much. I'm from NA but this is by FAR my favourite team ever. Not just the players, but Caedral getting to insert himself back into pro play in a way, and just the content with a W editor. Loving the public dynamic while the players have a blast and still doing so well. I hope LR goes far and we see them at a worlds in the future!
1:01:20 I feel like putting Velja on tanks is like having a racehorse do pony rides. You can see how hard he wants to carry the game and turn these situations, but the draft limits his ability to outplay with mechanics. The beauty of this team is in it not being defined by meta picks imo. There are so many situations where they look a bit lost playing outside their main champ pool, but maybe that will improve over time.
He carry naturally. He has to train on tanks now during the limited time they have to Scrim.. This season is completely different from anything we've seen prior to this. Hell, Baus doing Pantheon is a solid idea and I'm sure they spent at least an hour just filtering champs to select for him
I was actually just giggling like a child at Rekkles' Milio 'rampage' at the end of the game 4, that was glorious to witness. 3 mins straight just confidence and Velja spampingin him ♥️
These videos are the highlight of my day, I love the long format and the multi-perspective. This team has so much character and I love being along for this journey with my six favorite guys. ❤
You can already see the improvement from Baus just over the last 2 days. Putting him on champs like Kayn & Cho, which have insane late game scaling, utilizes his playstyle a lot more. Even his proxying on Kayn was perfectly fine and later into the game he starts drawing multiple to him and due to the champ, nearly wins the 1v2/1v3. As long as he's on these late game monster champs, the rest of the team just has to play their game and scale. This team in general is really really good at their late games, so being down 10k+ really isn't that big of a disadvantage.
I wouldn’t say perfectly fine on Kayn considering he kinda fucked Mid Jungle because of his proxy deaths but late game it ended up fine but early on he completely fucked Nemesis lane.
@@animeanime7849 I mean yeah, he did accelerate them earlier than they would've liked, but that lane would've more than likely gotten to the same point regardless, as that's just the matchup the later you go. And in doing so, he pushed his form a lot faster, which I'd say is well worth it when you're playing laning kayn.
I never comment on these things but I no one else did so I will. Baus defending Spearshot when Neme said "bad" things about him was so wholesome, even if Neme didn't mean bad.
Rekless argument was the most logical and thought out about the bot play. Explaining how with their lead gaining vision in that moment would’ve lead to a 5v5 ace and gg, nemesis response is I want bot tower gold, rekless counters with we had no vision of their team, all could’ve been bot leading to you getting caught out. Caedral is a great coach, he lets rekless make his point in full acknowledging it looks to be the correct play afterwards. Nemesis is a beast but needs to work with his sup here.
Nemesis thought process disappointed me so much. He just wanted to greed it so badly, meanwhile rekkles was setting up play for whole team benefit, and nemesis played solo queue.
@@MrTincify I could not disagree more, late game hypercarries like Azir need to prioritise their economy over all else. Azir should never have to help ward when there's a literal free bot tower for him to take, it's Velja's job to cover Rekkles, or in this case even Crownie could have since he doesn't have anything else to do. Rekkles could also take the long way to bot from behind dragon pit and then ward pixel and tri bush, deep vision was unnecessary that turn since once Azir takes tower they will base anyway, if they wanted to stay then they could ward deep on the next turn because it would be easier for Azir and Gragas to move. If my Azir ever tries to play for the team instead of himself I would have a big problem with that. Rekkles is a support, it's his job to setup for the team, but its not beneficial if his hypercarry benefits more from a different play. Its Nemesis'(and Crownie's) job to maximise his gold and carry the 5v5 objective contests.
@@pranavgo860That take is super soloQ skewed. Nemesis hasn’t played competitive in like ages that for wanted to take that turret but correct thing would be to contest vision on that turn. They pushed in mid wave and wanted to play on bot after, its definitely correct to get vision. It’s just that playing for vision one turn after would be super bad for bot if they commit for nemesis and playing on bot tower one turn after wouldn’t matter at all except for 30 second delay. Rekkles is definitely right here but he shouldn’t have run in when his team isn’t on the same page.
@@pranavgo860 i see your point amd i agree to some extent. but riddle me this.. does a dead azir make gold when he dies due to lack of vision? i guess passive gold is still there xD
@@pranavgo860 At the end of the day nobody is really right in these kind of talks. Usually it's just a matter of in game philosophy, of how you want to play. Reckless here is focused on vision and map control, Nemesis on his ressources cause he is a carry. Same thing was happening at the grubs fight that Crownie wanted to give and go bot. Ultimately it doesn't matter and that is why I really like how Caedrel answers to these debates : it doesn't matter what we do, but we do it together. Sometimes in LoL there are many good/ok plays, and sometimes it's okay to accept there isn't a perfect solution. Usually if you do one thing in LoL, it means you concede something else. That's how it is.
I think over the last few years we've forgotten how good Rekkles is at this. I had at least. He's so consistent and insightful about the game. That and his positioning and comms really show what a veteran he is.

Not likely the tshirts were for the redbull event specifically. He instead has jerseys for sale that is now their regular season. (No idea if that sold out too)
I don't play league, I don't care for Esports in general, but I can't stop watching and rooting for LR for some reason, there's something really entertaining and magical about this group.
I'm so excited for the season. It's so cool that they upload all the scrims and everything, but especially with the fearless draft we have now this will become super helpful for all the other teams. They can be pretty sure to know most if not all the good picks from all of them. If they target one in a game 4 or 5 it gets even harder then for the other teams. That being said i still think they will perform just because they play really good together and are also such good individual players.
40:40 here crownie is correct, in chess the best players and engines try to maximize for "dynamic play" which lets the player(s) look for equal or better opportunities in the future. Its part of why velja likes the idea, its in his instinct to understand there will be an opportunity to punish in the future
This. I haven't heard Caedrel consider the idea that you can trade one player's lead for time. Having a lead is a currency you can lose by mistake, or you can give it up to create tempo in other places. All I hear him say is Now-Now-PlayNow-crossmap-now-doItnow-crossmap-now. Sometimes you have time to do nothing, sometimes you have room to sit on the fence and let the enemy show up before you decide on the best play. You have room to choose a "worse" play if you know 2 steps ahead you'll open something else up. Baus is a key user of this (by brute force). When he does a "wrong" play, the enemy has to make choices that seem obvious at first, but this creates holes because the plays are at first obvious to both teams. And Rek has good knowledge of backing this style up
He is and isn't. Giving is a good play. But the fight isn't a bad play either. They are 3k gold up, and 5vs4... they have good reasons to fight. There are many good answers here. That is why I really like Caedrel answer : it doesn't matter in hindsight what was the absolute best play, what matters is to play together and be on the same page. Like if they open bot it's won, if they play this fight semi-decently game is hard won too. These players are good enough to find many different good plays. Only issue here was execution, not the decision itself.
man even with such a wholesome league content (very rare), there are still toxic degens putting hate comments.. LR and Caedrel please ignore them and do your own thing! u guys are great!!
22:00 I appreciated that the conclusion was that there are multiple viable plays - gives me continued appreciation for this game. Rekkles pushing the team to see a play even caedrel initially didn’t consider was cool.

I really like Rekkless tbh. I didn't know much about him other than the fact that he's really good, but the way he handles discussion is top notch tbh he's willing to both speak his mind and take criticism with no hurt feelings and that's really cool. All of the players have their strengths and weaknesses and I think a really notable strength from Rekkless is his willingness to communicate openly. 👍
@ yeah, i used to watch him in games, i just meant i didn't know much about his personality. i guess being a pro for over 10 years would probably help with communication, he'd have a lot of experience lol

Don't let the day's misplays get to you coach caedrel! Remember, the team plays best when they're having fun and in their element.
Thanks coach
Please make sure they read this, re post it
@@viktornylund8264 Alright, will repost when they upload a new video, so it might get some traction again.
Bro he averages like 2 deaths every game. His ability to stay out of ranger while making clutch af plays is insane
Not to flame Rekkles, but no one in his right mind would consider anyone other than Caps the Goat of the west
He is far behind Caps in the GOAT talk
PLEASE DONATE A MICROPHONE TO REKKLES!
its just cus he uses his headphones wireless, everyone else is using theirs wired.
@@sergiowet everyone should be using a studio mic or atleast a standalone mic. the com's seem blury a lot of the time.
@@hughknight1804 i think they use the headphone mics because if they end up on stage, that's the equipment they'll have to use
1:01:20 I feel like putting Velja on tanks is like having a racehorse do pony rides. You can see how hard he wants to carry the game and turn these situations, but the draft limits his ability to outplay with mechanics. The beauty of this team is in it not being defined by meta picks imo. There are so many situations where they look a bit lost playing outside their main champ pool, but maybe that will improve over time.
true but he also needs to be flexible enough to play the tanks too
He carry naturally. He has to train on tanks now during the limited time they have to Scrim.. This season is completely different from anything we've seen prior to this. Hell, Baus doing Pantheon is a solid idea and I'm sure they spent at least an hour just filtering champs to select for him
Yeah but a good jungler also needs to be able to play tanks and setup his team's success. Even Canyon is a great Maokai/Sej player
Bro holy fuck 1:22:06 I haven't laughed that hard since all of baus's shit talk at Red Bull LMAO I swear he is a walking natural content machine
I'm consuming 10hrs minimum of Los Ratones contents without even realizing it, is it a good thing no?
I'm deathly sick and alone halfway across the world and these videos are keeping me sane.
I did not expect this, I lov u mister Editor!!
Baus is actually a mental lightning rod. Whenever stuff gets tense he makes people laugh
1:33:40 Caedrel : "If you decide to swap, please buy a Doran's item Baus"
> cuts to Baus with Dark Seal refillable
God man, this format is so COOL!!!! I love seeing the plays from different perspectives, and hearing Caedrel’s analysis in real time, and hearing the draft discussions, and just everything. Ugh, this shit is too fucking peak I can’t handle it lmao
we need a montage of wholesome rekkles moments with bauss
The cajones on Los Ratones is unmatched. Posting their scrims for anyone to scrutinize cuz they aint scared of the competition.
Baus after the Amumu incident. Employee of the Month. 😂 Don't stop the Pedro glazing 💪

Seeing Rekkles play again with younger players making him the "big brother" truly makes my heart smile.
1 Video after another, what a great start to the year
velja’s patience at 11:05 was really cool, being low elo i would’ve just flashed for the cait, but to see him know the wave is there and is dash is up got him two kills instead.
Loving the content guys! so happy to be invested in league esports again with this team! wondering if your going to restock the shirts at all again or was the last the final time? Missed my chance over the holidays.
Not likely the tshirts were for the redbull event specifically. He instead has jerseys for sale that is now their regular season. (No idea if that sold out too)
Caedrel: "You kinda just say on me". Everyone: chuckling
I don't play league, I don't care for Esports in general, but I can't stop watching and rooting for LR for some reason, there's something really entertaining and magical about this group.
1:42:06
Nemesis telling crownie to man up and kill them cracks me up
I'm so excited for the season.
The best part of the whole video was "W glaze, employee of the month" 😂😂😂
whoever edited the failed onto the challenger logo during the review bits deserves a raise
NEED a caedrel coaching baus’ chair compilation
los ratones is best thing to ever have happened in esports
Baus and Rek, have such great vibes for the team.
Rekkles "Baus Baus I have a Sej here for you, from me!!!" two minutes later flustered Baus "For me 🥺"
I love how Baus after consistently inting still feels joy running into the fountain at the end of each game :D
Rekkles is that "innocent" older brother, that gives Baus a push to his shenanigan's picks and just laughs it off if it doesn't work ❤
I felt that "dumbasses" in my soul
I love these! Thanks for uploading so fast
baahahaha the failed challenger logo and the NNO cup with inta during review time is sooo goddamn funny, wp @editors😂
nah, but the mentality of this team is just fantastic. Even in games when its bad they are having so much fun.
22:00 I appreciated that the conclusion was that there are multiple viable plays - gives me continued appreciation for this game. Rekkles pushing the team to see a play even caedrel initially didn’t consider was cool.
Loving the consistent uploads! What a lovely start to the new year, it's genuinely so much fun watching these guys learn and improve :) keep it up rats!
Rekkles having the time of his life at the end of the 4th game brings such a big smile to my face. Honestly peak league of legends
I really like Rekkless tbh. I didn't know much about him other than the fact that he's really good, but the way he handles discussion is top notch tbh
he's willing to both speak his mind and take criticism with no hurt feelings and that's really cool. All of the players have their strengths and weaknesses and I think a really notable strength from Rekkless is his willingness to communicate openly. 👍
Rekkles has been a top tier pro for 10 year. His experience plus him being a calm person is really good for the environment
@ yeah, i used to watch him in games, i just meant i didn't know much about his personality. i guess being a pro for over 10 years would probably help with communication, he'd have a lot of experience lol
1:06:46 I normally always agree with Baus, my goat. I just don't think proxying before first blood is given in this Feats of Strength season, is the play
Kayn sort of needs to because of his passive. If it was every other champion, it is questionable.
we need a whole edit of the clips where Caedrel talks to himself because Simon is not in his chair at this point
Dude this content is gold. So much fun to watch the banter, especially going into the later games. Just awesome, happy these guys are having a good time together, even when caedrel is being tough on them.
This Team and this combination of people is the best that happenend to league for years. Putting Baus top makes their interaction so wholesome and funny. So cool, made me comeback to watch league and play the game.
Love the production! So cool to get an inside look into a team, and makes watching you guys on stage so much more engaging! Keep pumping out the content, invest in production now, you guys are going to be gamechanger for esports!
I really hope Rekkles plays more melee supports and peels for the carries even though he's on melee supports. I become more proud of him the more deaths he has saving the team, while for Baus I'm more proud of him the less he has.
I will be totally honest, Los Ratones make me love LoL again. It's a perfect balance between nice "pro / esport" content with their visions / strats and feelings and lot of amusement and a bit of troll. It's entertaining AND high quality gameplay.
I trully love too, the synergy in this team. They all match perfectly. Thanks you for sharing with us !
It is so nice to have this kind of insight into a competitive team, love this content!
So many positive comments, it’s nice to be a part of these good vibes this team and the community supporting them brings.
@1:01:36 Baus, of all people, is saying "we shouldn't throw the game here" and Velja still goes in that is crazy work lmao
Baus defending spearshot and calling him his friend is great. This team seems so wholesome in general.
Been watching pro league since S2. LR is already my favorite team and I'm actually watching scims etc. Great content, great personalities. Just enough competitiveness with just enough humor and joy.
Baussi literally be like "not my lane, not my problem" 😂
This content is great, love seeing it edited in full - the draft, edited game and also the review
These game one lane assignments gives me hope there are still players/coaches out there that genuinely want to evolve the game and not carry on pretending the way we assign lanes etc is anywhere near "solved". Absolutely smashing to see.
00:37:00 cead_- "hmm, okay . . employee of the month " I laughed so hard.
"w glaze, employee of the month"
this is pure comedy gold. Also very good gameplay :D Keep that content up
Love the uploads, seeing these scrims is super fun!
Editor is so CRACKED with the editing from different POVs. Amazing content here
I love the editing on the videos but that blackscreen at 11:12 gave me a heart attack. I thought my gpu died for a split second.
I love the Rekless Baus energy, its such a refreshing look at proplay. Great players, great team and great staff team around them. GLHF in NLC Los Ratones.
1:00:08 To be fair in hindsight looks like Velja is trolling but he didnt know Crownie was gonna leash him more with that Q so he just ran away giving drake
I enjoy watching all these scrims. It’s too good! The entire team is having so fun.
All of LR funding going to the editor 4 speedrunning ☠️

@@EpicVideoMaster11 These days? not much man. Used to be a NIP fan and Fnatic when they were Swedish. But their YT channels were lacking to say the least. Now its just Virre fragmovies. Holding out for Ricky Rays tho XD. (sorry but u asked)

30 seconds in and im already having fun. Thanks Los Ratones for making atleast 2 hours of my day amazing.
I guess I ain't going to sleep for the next 2 hours then
Watching your games, I’m rooting harder for you than I do for T1. So inspiring with your team play. Los Ratones forever ❤
Don't let the day's misplays get to you coach caedrel! Remember, the team plays best when they're having fun and in their element. They can sense your energy, so if you are nervous and negative you'll pass that on to them. I can see Rekky trying to lighten things up and repair the atmosphere, since he's such a vet and has an instinct for that.
Of course, all your advice is correct you're an incredible coach. But just remember that a tired or frustrated brain is very resistant to more learning or change, so sometimes it's good to let a round or point slide for a while to allow them to gain more composure, then bring it up later when the time is right.
I was never interested in LoL Esports, I just love to watch Baus YT and Twitch sometimes, but this, damn, this is peak esports. I can watch this everyday. Please dont stop.
Hello editor. The content is great and loving how you've already improved the interfaces for the scrim and drafting scenes.
I think there is some work to do on the channel itself such as creating a community and writing a description about Los Ratones.
Keep up the good work. ❤
