I’m First Nations and there is something about being part of a drumming circle. The ancestors tell us that the sound of the drums are the best to our soul and we need to care for it and our culture as a way of making us strong. Thanks for sharing! Seeing this group live is a dream for me now. Hopefully Covid will allow me the chance to realize it. Take care everyone.

It is a powerful reminder of many aspects of life, our elders and ancestors, our responsibility to the Creator and Mother Earth and for us to remain healthy, strong and proud. The LGBTQ reference is also a special part of our culture.A person who carries both female and male characteristics were referred to as ‘Twin Spirited’ and held a special place in the clan and tribe and not shunned.
