Thanks for sour news @Paul, please continue your work! How do we adapt now? What's the timescale in your opinion? Can we solve potential growing inequality inside both developed nations' societies + growing catastrophic gap in between countries who have/use AGI and those who are left out.

Effective Accelerationism is a belief, rooted in the second law of thermodynamics, that the universe itself is an optimization process creating life which constantly expands. The engine of this expansion is technocapital. This engine cannot be stopped. The ratchet of progress and innovations only ever turns in one direction.
Life is nature's ingenious means of harnessing free energy through self-replicating, adaptive systems that increase overall entropy. The evolutionary process reveals life's ability to sculpt remarkable complexity from simple building blocks. Yet this biological evolution, extraordinary in itself, represents but the earliest progression in life's capacity to structure dissipative systems. If life is considered in its most generalized form - as patterns of organization emerging from physical laws - untold potential remains to be discovered in how informational systems interact with thermodynamics.
Yeaah it's a fact, there is no way back. Slowing down won't help anyone from my point of view because how would you know that person X will slow down as well.
From a profits point of view, and also from a stand point in case this goes kind of side ways maybe another AI will only help us I guess😂😂, that's what I am thinking
