Peg 23 today on canal. Caught 1 stockie and 4 small ide all day in the match. My peg was 18 weir to start but the lake was iced and we couldn’t break through
Fished most of my winter like this using F1 maggot and on them harder days an F1 fine with strung out rigs. Catch owt that swims and great fun on light gear and a half pint of maggots.
Hi Matty I’m fishing on the Canal on Monday 4/5 hour session will I get away with small potting in maggots or will I have to introduce ground bait at some point?
