Nobody can afford nearly any make of car in any country. How could anybody afford a $100,000.00 for a Ford F-Series truck? I've seen some here locally in Dallas, Texas with sticker prices over $135,000.00! A typical family of four cannot afford a new car.
What about the fact, in the UK at least, every car is stuffed with air conditioning, LCD screens, full of functionality nobody uses, and all fancy small engines, turbos etc etc, and the size of them compared to a 1980s car, is basically massive. That could be another reason they're so expensive. Hired a van the other day, and it was, to my surprise, full of all the useless things my car has, a van, for why?
It couldn’t possibly be because they aren’t making cars most people can afford? You know, like Henry Ford originally did? 🤔🤓 They did it to themselves.
Went to several dealers thys year to look at mid size pick-ups. 40 grand at least out the door. Spent $6K instead having my old Ranger repaired with fresh suspension, brakes, steering, etc. Feels like a new truck.
The unemployment rate, like inflation and the median home price sold are vastly skewed. The numbers they're reporting aren't even very close to reality. I'd be surprised if unemployment is under 7% today and foresee it hitting 12-13% by next year. The foreclosure crisis will make 2008-2010 look mild.
the unemployment numbers are absolutely fudged i get layed off for a month every year and the last few years when you sign onto the unemployment web sight and file your claim it tells you that theres been a benefit reduction due to INCREASED CLAIMANTS. employment is not even back to pre covid levels thats why so many places that were open 24 hrs before covid have still not gone back to being open 24 hrs .
They have tariffs on imported US vehicles. Some euro countries have a 100% tariff on USA imports. We need to do the same here. USA is the most productive country. Bring on the trade wars.
Nobody wants overpriced unreliable cars people want inexpensive reliable cars Will you ever get it. You know the kind of cars you stopped manufacturing because you wanted the profits to be high
It Ford thinks it can charge 80k for a pickup truck? They might as well CLOSE completely. All of them may as well CLOSE. Nobody's buying their recall nightmares.
Fed cuts mean nothing to loan interest rates. Its all 10 year bond rates driven by the market. They could cut interest rates to zero tomorrow and it wouldn't matter.

Greed has consequences.
Strikes do too.
I don’t like electric stoves

I would like to buy a car. But wait, I can buy a house, instead, with the same influential impact. I'll keep driving what I got.

Stock market up, but when it crashes it will be UGLY
Just stop buying junk.
Dont charge money.
Keep life simple.
Jesus Christ is the reason for the season.
Jesus didn't have a car

It doesn't matter, they're not getting a 100k for a lousy car.
Nobody wants overpriced unreliable cars people want inexpensive reliable cars Will you ever get it. You know the kind of cars you stopped manufacturing because you wanted the profits to be high
It's like they're making overly expensive piles of junk that cannot be repaired easily and thus have no second hand market value.
EVs especially so.
Another win for the union.....
The cars cost too damn high.

Think maybe the price of vehicles is a bit too high? Maybe?
I mean why should anyone need to purchase $100k truck?

who wants to overpay for a vehicle that most likely will have 50 recalls the first year? thats exactly what ford products are today.overpriced junk.
😂😂😂
Is it really the capatalist fault that people cannot control themselves?
