Ooooooh how I enjoyed this video! book hauls just bring a smile on my face. I am always curious to see what others have bought. While I was watching you, I was on Amazon, adding N.K Jemisin in my cart. Funny thing is I have shadow and bone trilogy box set from Leigh Bardugo sitting on my shelf. I have yet to read anything by the author. Maybe I should start there...😅📚
😂🤣 Leaving things in my cart for weeks is something I do often. When I complete one book on my shelf I feel like I can reward myself with 3 new ones. 🤦🏾♀️

OMG I didn't know about the kindle points thing! Wow! I'm gonna utilize that and tell my mom about it. If you like regency romances, I recommend Ana Maria and the Fox, Mr. Malcolm's List and The Beautiful Ones. Also, A Duke, The Lady and a Baby! Ive been in a Historical Romance mood too! I need to get Upon Walking! I read her other two books and liked them a lot!

I bought so many books during Amazon's sale 🫣. I bought The Jigsaw Man because of you. When you mentioned it in one of your previous videos, it sounded so interesting, so I made sure to grab it.
I’ll be starting that one this week! 🤞🏾
I didn’t think the prices were giving me the you need to buy right now feeling… but you have some amazing picks.. I just added a few to my list 📚
Well, actually I have gotten a few eBooks on sale. I got Forever an Ex by Victoria Christopher Murray, Two Parts Sugar, One Part Murder by Valerie Burns, and Finding Peace by Charles Stanley. I love Non-Fiction. Especially, a good memoir because I am nosey.
📚 I ended up buying quite a few books from the Amazon sale even though I have plenty of books on my shelf that haven’t been read. I tried to find inexpensive books (mostly under $10) that I thought seemed interesting yet a bit out of my comfort zone, or books that I kind of wanted but never felt like paying full price for.
A haul perfect for summertime!! I also have never read Abby Jimenez, but have her on my TBR after seeing everyone love on her! So interesting that you don’t like nonfiction, but we like what we like! I think it’s a good call to go after nonfiction from people you admire ❤ wishing you luck! 😊

I ALMOST picked up some books during the sale...but then I reminded myself that I still have a giftcard to B&N that I need to use lol but I overall wasn't all that impressed with the sale. Can't wait for your review of the books you picked up! 📚

You're right, it wasn't much of a sale but I did get two books. Spiral by Denise Turney and Black Candle Women by Diane Marie Brown 😊

I missed the sale 😢 but that’s ok because I still have a stack of books to read lol. that’s great you are challenging yourself to read non-fiction. I don’t read them that much myself. Also I love Abbott!!!I just watched that episode. And I’m interested in that Aladdin retelling. I tried Hooked, but I didn’t care for it that much📚 ❤
Abbott is my comfort show at this point 🥰 I keep it on for filler noise.
So many people have said they disliked Hooked or that it was their least favorite in the series.
📚I didn’t even know Amazon was having a book sale. Don’t know how I missed that but don’t feel bad due to hearing from you and others that the sale was not that great. The fantasy and sci fi books peaked my interest. Thanks

NK Jemison is such a great author and that trilogy is wonderful! And Octavia E Butler is my FAVORITE author! I've read almost all of her books. Parable is great along with Kindred and Fledgling. Happy reading!
Parable of the Sower/ Talents honestly changed my lifeeeeeeee. i absolutely loved it. the characters felt like real people to me and i really enjoy the journal entry styling writing.
I recently listened to the Dawn audiobook and then also bought the trilogy 😂 i haven’t read the next two yet but i believe the order is Dawn / Adulthood rites / Imago

📚FRIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEND! Hey book bestie. I know I been missing the last few vids. I’m catching up 😂😂 Ninth Ward was soooooo good. It’s part of a trilogy and I loved them all. Bayou Magic was my fav tho. You gone have to be in a good headspace when you start the Parable series. It’s like Miss Butler predicted the future. I just stared 5th Season so I can complete a Kindle Unlimited challenge 😂😂😂 I read The City We Became by her and loved it so my fingers are crossed on this series. And if you lookin for a buddy reader for It Waits In The Forest and or The Dangerous Ones, just hit me up 🙈
I grabbed Viola Davis’ memoir on my kindle for $2.99 and The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez in physical form for $6.99

📚 Pretty cool selection! I have a book recommendation for you called Almost There by Farrah Rochon. It does a reimagining of Princess Tiana's story from the Princess and The Frog movie. I listened to the audiobook from my library and it was a good read. I think you might enjoy it!
I have that book! Tiana is my favorite Princess 👸🏾 🥰 It’s packed away somewhere but I love a good audiobook so i’ll see if libby has it available. 🤗

I believe You accumulate the points when you purchase physical books but can only spend the points on ebooks.
Great video! I bought Crossed by Emily before realizing it was a priest romance with lots of smut in it. My religion does not align with this kind of book so I will not read it and I was curious if you made the same mistake as I did.
