In Modern football, Maradona would be playing together with Baresi and Maldini in PSG … what ever happened to playing against the best players in the game. I truly believe that Serie A was so dominant back then because every team had so much quality that it forced all the players to elevate their game, Maradona included.
In recent times, we see about 3-5 teams hording all the best players in the world. Barcelona is paying for that now. That tactic incurred a lot of debt and they could not afford Messi. But that's killing the game. I only watch club football when the best teams are playing each other. Everything else is a mismatch.
No. These players had pride. It’s sad what all these rich roaches did to football, indeed. We can only hope one day FIFA and UEFA stop being led by corrupt rats.

Indimenticabile.
Hasta siempre, Capitán Pelusa
Whaaaaaaaattt a player he was the very best of all time 👍👍💯
In modern football Napoli would have won all the matches because the opposite teams would have remained with less than 7 players on the pitch.
The only Player who comes close to Maradona's Playstyle and Technique is none other than Messi..Thats Argentinian 🇦🇷DNA.. But Maradona will always be Mentor to Messi... Brazil and Argentina Produced so Many Legendary Players that people's still enjoy watching them.. Now don't deny and Brainwash in the comments.. Dont be deluded by today's Fanboys.. Maradona's charisma, will to win leadership is what makes him different try to understand..
Agreed. Very interesting thoughts.
@@robertsmithduarte7732 I am Glad that you understand Messi is the Most revolutionary player for his own club barcelona ❤️⭐when Messi was at his peak he led barcelona to the Toppest position we could have imagined maybe there were good teammates behind him but he knows how to control the Game..But If you talk about Maradona when he was at his peak he led argentina to victory without major support of his teammates carried whole team single handedly with heavy balls, boots and not carpet like pitch as today and plus extra point and main point is games were physical was allowed to tackle even injure 🩸🤕 and player you want. The only thing you can do is roll in the ground get back to your feet and continue running..Maradona performed repeatedly in the time when football ⚽ had lots of talented players even some of them are still known as legends better than today's accordingly..so When Maradona shined he shined brighter than anyone else❤️ When Messi was at his peak he won several titles in this era when Maradona was at his peak he won Worldcup for his country with his own will with little support of his team who were missing his key passes and pitches horrible etc etc .I hope you understand the difference Most shined and Worshipped player in club is Messi but for the whole country is Maradona Argentina of course.. Different era different time two legends..#Respect..Note:-Maradona brought this playstyle and won Wc 1986 before Messi was born..I am not supporting him but he should be at the 1st if people enjoyed him that much without giving blames that drugs enhance you blah blah all bullshits. So Barcelona will never forget what Maradona won for Napoli and Argentina His peak maybe short but that's enough how well he played His duration was short but till that what he did players couldn't even believe to do at their whole career.A Football fan will never forget Maradona and Messi..Maradona was a poet in Nature and always be idolized as Messi and it's true..My humble opinion Thanks 🫂😊
Despite all the referee protection and other supportive facts in his career, Messi is not even 10% of Diego’s class, charisma and talent.
@@gattuso3997 Messi is Just like a remake of Maradona. Maradona (original) Messi (Duplicate). Not criticism..People agrees the fact or not but For meMessi comes 2nd after Maradona end of Conversation!
@@mitabepari1035 in my book he is not even in the 1st 10. I don’t even think he is better than Alvaro Recoba. We probably live in the worst football era where Lukaku is considered as a star. Imagine!
Back then
When Scudetto was heaven of football
🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Respect for all player on that era
Swats Barresi aside there like he’s a nobody! Incredible!
In fact they had nothing but utter respect for each other ❤️
Baresi and maldini alway say they didn’t sleep the night before playing against him
no arguments.... this is the best player ever....
Back then, if the top team plays Against the last team you can not tell who's going to win!!.
No. These players had pride. It’s sad what all these rich roaches did to football, indeed. We can only hope one day FIFA and UEFA stop being led by corrupt rats.
Back when the serie a was the best
My favorite athlete who ever lived.
I'm simply speechless. I don't know what to say. Genius have that effect on me.
look at how deigo make young maldini angry and foul at him
What a player!!! 👏👏👏
Thanks for the memories Dieguito!
Always surprises me how quick such a little guy was, especially over that first 10 yeards.
This milan (late of 80s) was greatest in history but maradona was in another level
Ray Wilkins and Diego maradona 2 geniuses RIP ❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Defenders were so brutal back then
5000 years from now, when future humans will learn Sports history, the only name that will remain is Maradona, like Alexander the Great. Simply put, the absolute greatest player of all times. D1OS
Only recently I get to watch his off the field football tricks. He is one with the ball. The football was just an extension of his body.
Il numero 1 di tutti i tempi!!!!
the grass on the pitches was higher, the players had to have excellent ball control to play in Serie A, there was plenty of Winstrol, hard tackles on the ball from behind were not sanctioned.
it was all extreme, technical, free and fantastically violent!!
Never seen Maldini looking so un-cool, un-calm and un-collected.
He toyed with maldini.... greatest ever is maradonna
Joint FIFA World Player of the Century with Pele. Helped Argentina win the World Cup with a considerably weaker team than Messi. Provided the assist that lead to the game-deciding goal in the 1986 FIFA World Cup Final. R.I.P Maradona and Pele.
It wasn’t joint at all
Maradona got 53% of the votes
Pele got 19%
@@Ohanftbl I know Maradona won the first/proper vote. I was just being polite and didn't feel it would be fair to leave Pele out.
Incredible player...would love to see what he could do with the protection afforded to modern day players...most of the fouls on him are straight reds in today's game...still couldn't stop him.
In todays game he would hypnotise us all.
D10S! ⚽❤🇦🇷
@2:48 such control and accuracy in huge moment
Como extrano Maradona Siempre ❤️
1:59 paolo maldini ❤️❤️😘😘😘
The best I've ever seen.
I don't know why there is a debate about The Greatest Footballer⚽ of all time.. It's obviously Diego Maradona but everybody has their own choices and opinions due to some reasons and personal preferences.. But he was the best ever to have graced the world football without any shadow of doubt he is the Best to have been shown in The screen.. Wasn't born to see him play as I am only 18 but through my football clue knowledge I can acknowledge..He himself said in an interview he would be 3 times more if he didn't used drugs and cocaine imagine him with better nutritional diets, training and Healthy prosperous life which Messi leads..in my Books Maradona Comes No. 1 till date after having so much of Physical and Mental issues1.Maradona as the Best player
2.Followed by Messi His countrymen and can be called as Modern Maradona .The most talented footballer of My generation. He is the closest thing to Maradona when it comes to football⚽
3.Pele his Greatest Rival. He is Claimed as 🇧🇷Brazil's National Treasure for a reason.. Check his wiki
4.Johan cruyff.. The Father of Modern football has flair like no one and one of the Best football player to win multiples of titles and ofcourse ballandor..
5.CR7-Most hard-working, dedicated &fittest athlete I have ever seen so far. He scores headers and runs without showing any efforts.
6.Ronaldo Phenomeno.. He was a beast in his prime world saddened because he lost his True potential because of injuries imagine him without facing such brutal tackles.. Had been more superior.. The thing he does with ball makes me feel amazed..
7.Zidane:-He is on his own level
8.Franz Backenbauer:-The Greatest and the Most elegant defender I have seen in my entire life
9.Ronaldinho:-Fav showboat❤ he deserves to be included
10.Ferenc puskas:-Last but not the least The man who gained recognition and fame before Pele.. Not saw his much footages but he was ahead for his time.. And What he did was exceptional of course
Great post Mita.
As you say it is subjective but in my mind there’s no doubt D10S is the greatest footballer I’ve ever seen. I was 10 in 1986 and idolised him since that day.
I’d have Cruyff second. Beautiful footballer.
Then Maldini third; it’s always attackers mentioned in these conversations but why shouldn’t it be defender?! it’s an art in its own right and he did it to perfection.
Loved R9 as well.
And good shout on Puskas, outstanding and very underrated these days imo. He was my dad’s favourite.
@@Shades-of-76 I don't know about rest but Mardona did his job well Best playmaker I have ever seen.. Nobody has reached that level so far not even Messi.. Even Messi says some of brilliant words for Maradona
In my childhood I could see Maradona playing. He is the best ever, Messi is far from him... very far from him.
@@songokuchampion2010 Bruhh Whatever messi did was for club Not for his Nation but Maradona was much successful to put the same effect for his Nation without even having proper discipline in his life.. messi has more advantages than that of Maradona.. I wonder if he hadn't used drugs
Maradona the greatest wizard of football
1:35 Wow!
For me Maradona is the undisputed greatest player of all time. What he would do today, with so much protection, can only be imagined. But whoever you prefer, there is no doubt the two GOAT were both short left-footed Argentinians.
An other thing neglected about Diego, more time showed in this video: the opportunism, as an hawk , ready to understand the possible fail of opponents to transform in assist or scoring directly. Only Paolo Rossi and Gerd Müller had this feature at this level. And these last ones was big big strikers!
I miss Maradona. As do millions
For Ever Diego Armando Maradona!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Rumour has it.....Maldini, Baressi, Anchalotti still have nightmares to this very day, regarding Diego Armando Maradonna 🐐
By far the greatest to touch the ball
Wow wow wow..... maradonna... toying with the greatest defenders in history in the same team... toying with some of the greatest midfielders of all time....i see it...i see the greatest footballer in history
Even baresi & maldini can't stop him
They new they had been in the company of greatness that day, nice to see him swapping shirts with Ray Wilkins at the end, may they both rest in peace ☮️
