@@MurphyMower nonsense! Us backyard mechanics are the real deal. The big businesses are nothing but thieves and con men. People assume Monroe muffler got certified mechanics so they being played before they even pull into the parking lot.i could go on. Don't get me started.
I like that method of raising up that deck on the craftsman there . I know one thing the mis 90s murray riding mowers i like their deck adjust system they actuality had it were you lowered it down to that setting but just have to take the anti scalp wheels off which that is only clips holding the wheel.
I bought 2009 craftsman lt 1500 mower for 650$ I tought it was a bargain here were new similar mowers goes 3k-4k$. I need to repaint the deck to keep it tidy. I noticed littlebit annoying rattle on the clutch pedal once you don't press it. I think it has a design flaw because the clutch/brake rod doesn't have any adjustments it seems. Old mowers had adjustment there so you could tighten the slack out. Now it just vibrates loose. Do you have any solutions for that?
I would say it does, but it’s not enough to worry about in my opinion I’ve done serval this way over the years and have not had any issues Thanks for watching
Great information, thanks. We use our lathe a lot for making custom spacers or washers
I’ve seen you do that on some videos, wish I had that knowledge and tools
Good video Lee .

I have never addressed that issue and I personally don’t have a suggestion for you, but maybe someone on here will
Good luck and thanks for watching
On the other end of the front bar that you put spacers on has 2 holes ,what hole do I put that end into for the most height?
To get more heights, I would put it in the lower hole
does this affect the belt length?
I would say it does, but it’s not enough to worry about in my opinion

Over time I thing the vibrations unloosed this. It may be time for a lock nut
I can see That
Good though
