Great video, love your content. Stoner was the first gun I had gold in Cold War, I’ve been using it all along as I didn’t have the DMR leveled up enough to use. It is very good.
I don't know if someone already said this, Jack, but it's named after an american gun maker from the era. The (Stow-ner) 63 was originally used by American Navy Seals and the Marine Corps. It was specifically design for special forces as an "any size fits all" modular weapon. Eugene Stoner was also the guy who had a heavy hand in the creation of the M16 that was the basis for most modern AR weapon systems today. Just fun facts of the day. Great video as always Jack!
"Dog water" referring to the bowls of water that businesses put out for peoples dog. This water is always free so if someone says you are dog water it means you are basically a free kill.
My Dad was a Navy seal in Vietnam and the Stoner saved him many times. The Stoner MG was adopted by the seals from Vietnam until I think the 80's. Very underrated weapon to say the least. They need to put the M16 in this game to include the Jamming and failure to feed issue.
So many great references : " Dog water " pretty much means your ass or your butt at the game and " Oblong " just called someone a weirdo or a deformity of a human being
dog water rate. (Adult / Slang) USlang term coined in the 1960s, rarely heard today, for semen and other fluids secreted at orgasm. See semen of synonyms.
So as an American, a Texan at that, I thought "dog water" was a British insult.. I vaguely remember Gordon Ramsey shouting that at a cook... "this is fucking dawg watta!"
Its pronounced "stone-er" after Eugene Stoner. The same firearm designer who created the M16/AR15/AR10 series of rifles also was responsible for the Stoner 63. A lightweight modular LMG/rifle system. Even though it was never adopted widescale (and it should have been imo) its one of the more influential gun designs of the post WWII era. Basically Stoner came up with the (now "modern" standard) combined use of plastics and aluminum in modular adaptable firearms.
The Stoner! While considered finicky and having to pay particular to its cleanliness was a contender in its day, being modular to suit different roles made it a great choice when flexibility was needed
Stoner is a gun mfg name I know from pre M-16 USMC days: we tested the "Stoner" 15 and 15a, it got dropped and was replaced by the AR15, then the 16, then got the final version, M16. Time frame was approx 1965-66.
I knew the air strike thing for a while. Watch a ton of people with ghost lose solos because of it. They call it too early with 3 or 4 left then everyone locates them.
Don’t know where “dog water” originated or what it actually means but me and my friends use it as a compliment. We only give our puppers the finest water available so to us it’s not an insult
I like the stoner in Cold War because I could actually cancel the reload before you pull the grip back, but I hate it in warzone because you have to sit through the entire animation and a full few seconds after it or the reload won’t count
Lmao i think slang has gotten outa hand , i played with someone who said dog water aswell and i was just like whatttt? What is this day and age? Lol thx for another great vid Jack
As someone who uses the Stoner quite frequently in WZ, I’m wondering why the Cavalry Lancer barrel is being used? Doesn’t it make sense to choose a barrel that increases bullet velocity or damage range?
Anyone tried this yet? Legit think it will be everywhere next week.
It will be now! Almost seems like using it is basically a chet with 120 rounds and good accuracy.
Levelled this up before the integration had a feeling it would be a demon been using in warzone since 😂
