Came here from cracking the cryptic and have just binged everything you have. I would consider myself a somewhat competent Excel user (I've used filters, built myself a few basic tools using macros etc.) but still found a few useful tidbits in here. Looking forward to the more complex stuff on the way.
Thank you for this course! I came from Cracking the Cryptic and I just finished binging all the videos you've uploaded so far. I consider myself a good Excel user, but it's always good to review the basics and there's always the opportunity to learn new things that improve my approach to the software, and here I certainly found a few interesting pieces of advice that I'll implement in my day-to-day experience with Excel. If I can make one small suggestion, could you please reorder the videos in the Beginner Course playlist? Right now they're all in the wrong order and it's hard to watch them sequentially. Other than that, I can't wait to watch the rest of the course!
Merione, thank you so much this was really useful feedback and I have reordered the videos straight away. I've been mindful that the first course is very entry level and was keen to find the right balance to keep it interesting for everyone so glad to hear someone with your experience picked up a few useful bits. Hopefully in the back end of the course it will accelerate a bit for you and I'm hoping to release a bit of a teaser video of some more advanced content coming soon including things like getting Excel to build PowerPoint decks automatically which I hope you'll enjoy
Hi Geof, the website is a bit work in progress for now so apologies it’s not the easiest to navigate. I made a change last night which should now make the download accessible. In the course of you click on the materials tab it should now take you to a new page where the link text will automatically download the file. Hope this helps
@@excelgoat EXCELent - worked a treat - I have nearly worked through the 21 course one lessons (never a bad thing to remind the basics) and am very much looking forward to further courses -- will you be covering data scraping - power query - Power BI and more in the future?

Thanks D4N1CU5, I’ve put a lot of time into the videos so far so it’s really rewarding to hear that someone has watched them all and found them useful
