hi there Well done on this video very informative and great explanation of where all connections go, my Bro Col just purchased one and the instructions was a sheet of paper in very poorly translated to English, as you know names and numbers on unit and receiver don't match. We've had real problems trying to sort it out and gearchange servo keeps going to full throw every time we plug it in, (possibly Faulty) hopefully with help of you're video we'll get it running properly 10 out 0f 10 feller well done

Thanks for sharing your tutorial vid. So my question is how did you power the sound module? Thank you for your help!
The sound module has a power input pin and. It needs to be powered by using an additional cable that connects from PPM on receiver to sound module power pin. Please watch same video from 4.50 ...hope this helps...
Kudos for this good step by step instructions mate, its going to help a lot of us out there who don't want to spend a fortune on Tamiyas MFCs which just for the similar kit you pay around $400 (insane prices and for the brand I suppose). I saw this GT ones going for about $120 on rcmart with a combo set. Going to get it and watch your vids again. PS - can you show how you set up the transmitter etc? thanks in advance!

@@RCTRUCKZ yup saw that, did you had to adjust the gimbals to self center on both sides? Most of if not all the stick type controllers are made for drones and flight RCs.
im sorry , not sure about it, but the futaba radio on my video is for the surface models. the G T Pro wiring video has the avionics radio, its for the airplanes. the control sticks on the avionics radio has the self center feature on one side.

If its a 2.4 ghz, 6 channel set....it must work. Never tried it with a pistol grip
thx alot for the helpful explanation, i have one issue the vibration is not working, i try to connect it direct to electric and the motor works its not working with the sound system if u can help that will be great
Hi sorry for the late reply. I was held up with a bus build...the vibrating motor goes to pin 2. The white wire wld be on the topmost lead and the red wire on the middle pic. Im sure you are connecting it wrong..please recheck the leads where you are connecting it.

So the indicator works as soon as you use the steering?
Yes, thats correct. Moving the steering stick either way..makes the indicators glow..
@@RCTRUCKZ Ah ok, not the perfect solution. That's what I have now, and no matter how far I steer, it turns on the indicator.

Where did you get the light kit, I haven’t seen that kit before,how much did it cost you for the kit.

I've got a power unit but I'm having trouble with the channels what channels did u connect up to from the sound unit to the reciver
Pin 4 on the sound module input side goes to channel 1, pin 3 to channel 3, pin 2 to channel 5 and pin 1 to channel 2. My radio is a 6 channel unit. Between 6:50 till 8:15 on the time of the video this information is available. Hope this helps..
battery should be connected at the end
It has a power switch so, i guess its safe to connect the battery. Just my assumption

I got in plans buying one of this lovely trucks from Tamiya. Probably Scania r620 plus topline head. 🧐😜plus gt power and good transmitter. Yours looks pretty good and I think it is! I check and look around..... price for this toys can kill 🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱 so before Christmas I don’t think I will be owner;)) more chance after New year.

I will most probably come out with a video on connecting a futaba 4ywd. 4 channel radio to the GT power module. Lets see how it goes.. If cost is a problem you can try the hercules hobby tractor trucks as well. They have the scania 620(250usd) scania 470(220usd), benz actros 3363(210usd) benz 1851(199usd). You can check them out as well. And when you buy make sure you buy an esc and a 80 turns motor to give it a realistic run(videos on my list)....goodluck again...takecare
Very nice video.I did the same as you, but I don't know why turning the wheels and going back and forth are on the same button.
Thank you for watching . Maybe you should try to see if you have wired it wrong. Just interchange the wires on your receiver so it works on the channel you need

sur la manette de gauche le klaxon et le démarrage moteur , comment faire aussi pour les feux avant allumés avec le feux rouge.

salut. J'ai utilisé la connexion du voyant d'état rouge et j'ai ajouté des voyants rouges. le feu de stationnement bleu s'allume également du voyant d'état. le module d'alimentation GT n'a pas de connecteur de feu de stationnement sur son boîtier. nous devons prendre nos propres dispositions.

@@abhilashsukumarannair3246 that box has a micro processor which is coded to make sound and give lighting outputs to the truck from a transmitter
The speakers and the lights are connected to the control box
