This is fantastic what a stange and unique experience.
This is so interesting as you can see where in the song is using stressed words in French and softer words in English as such it displays the fact that English is a Germanic language with Norman influence so has more stressed words in general but then you can see where the stress differs in French and there are some English words that are spoken softly so you can see that as well. It is an amazing song both the beats and the lyrics.

Im french and there's actually no stressed vowels are syllables in french, at all. This is one of the things we struggle with when learning english. All the stressed syllables you hear in that song are just her english accent.

Another key when it comes to learning French, something that drastically sets it apart from English... gendered language, we don't use mutable male/female pronouns for everything in English like they do in French... Un/Une Je/Jai etc.

@@jambonnax6430Sometimes, a lot of symptoms are just things normal people do, not all of them equal to adhd and can just be a normal thing people do. A symptom of adhd as popular as the one shown in the video does not apply to every person with adhd, but it is still a symptom that applies to most adhd users! I hear both almost in tandem, like I hear the two different ones, and I recognise it, but I can’t really focus on one or the other, but somehow my brain can automate the process and I hear both versions as one 😂

I know this is supposed to be a happy song, but I am in tears. My godfather is french, and he has done for me more than most people in my life, and I love him with all my love. But, my French has always been something I've been struggling with. I understand it, to a certain degree, and can speak it a little, but I struggle a lot. I've wanted so desperately to understand every word of French my whole life, to tell him how much he means to me. And for the first time, I felt like I understood every single word. I am so greatful to have found this song.
This is not supposed to be a happy song. I'm told it's a song about phones, and that's very sensible to me. Phones "you're everything that I want, but nothing that I need, Lately I hate the way you're making me think"- This isn't a happy song.

As someone who is completely fluent in both french and english, this tickles my brain in the best way possible.
Not my preferred style of music, but I have to admit this is amazing. The way you can mentally turn on and off each side and clearly listen to the lyrics, every rythmic motif and basically how everything matches.
I really hope this becomes a more common technique.

I just found this today on a youtube short... Madeline was one of my favorite shows growing up and she was a little French girl but obviously also spoke English for a Western audience. I love this.

Pop songs in Bali even use two languages at once in one lyric line, Indonesian and Balinese. If you only understand Indonesian but don't understand Balinese, You might be confused about the meaning of the lyrics being sung.

This was incredible!! I would have never paid much attention to this song (not my typical genera), but I heard about this song in a short and had to check it out, and I gotta say... I am blown away!! There is something so captivating about it. Its like a mix of flavors that you were taught were the polar opposites of one another your whole life and you never imagined of combining the two until one day, some arbitrary thought, conversation or situation puts the two flavors in your head at once and then you think about the two together and all of a sudden that wall of division opens and reveals the "But what if" factor. You try the fries and ice cream together.. the bacon and chocolate.. the peanut butter and pickles... and something magical happens right in front of you! Thats what this song felt like to me. Amazing work

I did not want to admit it because I am learning French right now, but I have listened to this song on repeat everyday about 10 times, for over 2 weeks now, and I agree with everyone in the comments that we need more like this style for us people whose daily lives are constant stress driven. It lets you escape in your headphones to different sides and different neauron flows to a soothing stress. Especially once you get your dance on! Honestly, I dont understand a single word of the French version. But to me the French version is just so much sexier and prettier. Id rather listen to the French version despite not understanding. I absolutely love the whole approach to having options though. It no doubt present a lot more work to be done on a song but it would be amazing to see this happen a lot more often. Big props.
