I have one that my father bought in 1968. Best I can tell it was made sometime between '61 & '65. I'm having trouble finding a serial number anywhere on the thing so....
2019 vs 2022. Recently purchased one at a Pawn Shop. $220. And a box of 22 for a couple of bucks? I can hit golf balls at 25 yards. Has the Squirrel Stock and JM stamp on the barrel. Very happy with it. Produced 1977.
You picked a good gun. I have a 1977 model. It's a tack driver.
Sweet deal. I just got the same one and it came with an original glenfield scope. $140. Price is only going up now that Marlin is out of business.
