I believe from the other video I saw, it’s like a Crosman 600 valve that the hammer is a cup that fits over the valve end. The valve has an outlet for the transfer port to the barrel and a smaller port parallel to the valve stem that throws the hammer back.
@@richards6269 I think the semi auto system gives as many shots as a traditional conventional hammer. This is because hammer bounce doesn’t occur, instead the hammer is slammed back using maybe around 5%-10% of the air that is used for shots.
Can I ask if you plan to use a breech with a traditional manual bolt or one that is that is independent of the hammer? I assume the bolt is needed for the first cock of the hammer spring. I am trying to decide to use a semi-auto like this or a balanced valve or a combo of the two, to reduce the hammer spring and hammer weight. Great work once again.
Currently I am thinking of using a regular chamber with no lock for the bolt, and the probe has a bolt connected to it which pulls the hammer back as well. So the bolt + probe and the hammer won't be exactly connected to each other, but the bolt will be used to pull back both, the probe has a weak spring behind it, pushing it shut, upon taking a shot some air flows towards the bolt pushing it back against the spring cycling the magazine and loading another pellet in.
@ I thought about this before and it could work if the probe has a slip pin that releases just after the hammer is cocked. But there is an issue of using the bolt to pull the hammer back and also allowing the hammer to retract the bolt. You obviously can’t easily do both. In your method you could use a two part bolt with a spring in between the pieces. The rear half cocks the hammer and once locked forward the front half has the correct spring tension to load the pellets but light enough to retract from barrel pressure.

Es hat keinen O-Ring. Wenn es einen O-Ring hätte, wäre es tatsächlich schlimmer, weil sich Luft ansammeln und die Hammergeschwindigkeit verlangsamen würde
I also done this to my .25 air rifle in 150kg air chamber but seems like the hammer must be weak. The hole on my rifle valve was 2mm and cannot push the hammer back
maybe there is too much leaking? for a powerful air rifle this is not a good way to cycle the hammer, with a strong spring (14mm od, 1.2mm wire dia) I would get only like 20 ftlbs max. thats why i am making a slightly modified hammer system again.
@@pcpairgunschannelit's good enough but you use a very soft valve spring. I usually use a hard valve spring so the stick is hard to press when using my hand. because I use a manual pump sometimes it's constrained when the valve stick spring is too soft
Its 1mm but i switched to around 1.5mm later The vent hole size depends on how much clearsnce the hammer has, if there is less leaking around the hammer you need A smaller vent hole
in the 1.5mm valve hole that pushes the hammer, is the hammer also made a hole so that it can be blown when fired. Generally, the wind comes out of the hammer chamber. Why does yours seem like there is no wind spreading to the back? Did you give the hammer another nbr rubber sill?

I will make an assembly video, maybe i will include some illustrations to demonstrate what allows the semi-automatic firing.

Briliantly thought out trigger mechanism. Well done and thanks for sharing.
What material did you use for the HP cylinder?
Thanks!
The cylinder is 304 stainless steel, 30mm od 26mm id. If you are interested you can check my earlier video on the tank.

hi greetings from indonesia. i also did an experiment on pcp. how many fps per shot if using flowback like that. doesn't the power decrease?
You need a stromger spring
I will use this for 5,5mm around 700-800 fps
With 4.5mm you can get maybe 900-1000 fps using the same specs

Ask for the trigger link
sorry, dont have
@pcpairgunschannel about wanting to make it not right
So air is bled off to actuate the firing pin ('hammer')
Yes, some air is transferred to the hammer chamber pushing the hammer back and the trigger catches it.
