I took this cruise two weeks after you did. For the people who worry the parties will be too much, you don't have to go to them. They're late at night. My BFF and I are both early-to-bed, early-to-rise types. We LOVED the ship, saw and did everything we wanted, and had a RELAXING cruise. We weren't inundated with loud music or crowds. It was FANTASTIC, start to finish! (And that FOOD. Not enough compliments available.)

Wow, the party looked very spontaneous! I checked to see if we could go to Jaime’s for the vlogger’s cruise but unfortunately they are sold out, as is Maya Chan. So I guess we will be doing something else that day!
It absolutely poured that morning when we came in on Jewel. So much so, that as we approached the port, visibility went down to nothing and the Capt had to blow the horn like they would for fog. By the time we got close to the pier, we could see VL and MG and rain had stopped (temporarily). We got ashore long enough to eat lunch and shop a little before it rained again after we got back onboard.
Lovin’ the Virgin Voyages videos! The beach is so beautiful! I hope Honduras and Belize beaches are just as pretty! I need to hang out with the nuts too!😁 Awesome video!🏝️
Interesting cruise. The food looks great. Reminds me of my college glory years. I think the demographic appears rather young. Probably not a cruise for us, unless they need some grand parents. Looks like lots of fun for younger set.
Did this same cruise 2 weeks later. There are people there from 18-80. There are people of all activity levels and abilities. (My BFF and I are 55, "fluffy," and not active.) We skipped the parties and loud music areas. We weren't bored or limited. It was magnificent.
In case nobody has asked... Jaimes or Maya Chan?. Which gets your Top Score? I've been to the latter and loved it. I know it's a little bit further down the coast but that wouldn't put me off.
@parodeejay at Jaimes, did the “all-inclusive” package allow ordering anything? Or only from that first menu they provided? (I noticed a lot more seafood on that ala-carte menu)
Funny that you tried on bracelets…in the first video I thought Jay wore the ship bracelets well! I hope he grabbed a bracelet too, it’s a good look for him.
If I was 20 years younger this might be the way I could get my wife on a cruise... But since we are older I now know what she will hate... But thanks for posting
Eh, we try not to fuss over numbers too much. We love the community we’ve been lucky enough to grow over the last eight years, and as long as folks still enjoy sharing our adventures, that’s all we could ask for!! :P

How comfy were the beds on the Scarlet lady? I’ve heard mixed reviews.
I love all of the food options on Virgin… but everything else still seems so weird to me 😂. That’s the one thing holding me back from trying it out.

Do you need a reservation (excursion) ahead of time or can you just get a taxi there and be fine? July is our cruise.

Not a fan of Virgin cruises,I didn’t enjoy my last cruise.I guess if food is a big deal,it’s a great cruise.
Y’all are basically living on cruise ships given the number of cruises you go on. Do you miss being at home? Perhaps too much of a good thing?
We’re home on land approximately half the year, so we haven’t gotten tired of our semi-sporadic cruising sessions just yet!! :P
