how come this not be an actual tutorial, it's even spiritual, so vital. like the ordinary alcohol, drinkable. and when you turn on the stereo, eat an apple, let all your stress go.......
Fataak! Videos It's not off beat, it's just not a standard 4/4 rhythm with hits on down beats that commonly used. The snare hits on upbeats and I think there is a dotted eighth with a sixteenth in there.
Nah, man. What got ME was the potato near the beginning of the video. I always knew that potatoes are good conductors, but I never knew just how good they are.
Simple doesn't equal bad. That's what a lot of people don't get about music. Lofi is such a special genre because the silence let's you hear what's in your head. That's what I think anyway. I swear to high I'm not god.
I've never been much of an electronic or hip-hop sort of guy, but I've haven't found a genre that's better to listen to while studying, working, or just wandering the city than lofi
I usually don't post on things like this, but you've really changed my life. I've been going through a rough time of things lately; girl leaving, cat leaving, truck leaving...you know the trailer life feels. Well thank you is all I want to say I guess, heh thanks.
Damn I see what you did there. That explanation of lofi and the low fidelity, and played on those words of having a low amount of fidelity(being faithful to a partner). The point further illustrated by getting inspiration from a low fidelity cassette tape(cheating). Also the first sample we're introduced to is a guy telling a girl that he cheated on her. And the name of the track is low fidelity. I know it plays into the whole joke you're doing for the vid which was pretty clever, but I really appreciate the layers to it.
if you're actually interested in learning how to make a beat lofi, cut out highs and lows in your EQ until all of what you have is muddy mids, then you soak it in effects like pitch drifting, phasers, envelopes, and etc. Don't forget to add in a tape emulator if you like that hiss noise.
Hey man. Here's some links to a few good VSTs for emulating a tape noise. www.izotope.com/en/products/create-and-design/vinyl.html - Izotope is great for lofi in general www.toneboosters.com/tb-ferox/ - Ferox is good for emulating that old tape sound, but other tools will be needed for that hiss noise, or you can just grab some hiss sounds and place them in your DAW www.g-sonique.com/fat+.html - FAT+ is great for vacuum tube tape sounds, but the full version does cost money Hope this is what you need! Good vibes, man.
I know this wasn’t an actual tutorial to most viewers, but this actually made way more sense to me than the other 3 lofi tutorials I watched. So to whoever is making these... you have achieved guru status. Thank you🙏
yo man, literally just found you today. I've just watched 2 of your videos. I dont leave many comments on youtube. The way that you use this media to share your thoughts is extremely enjoyable. SUBSCRIBED. you've made me physically smile instead of just the usual chuckle in my head.
Try forgetting it's next anniversary then wait 2-5 months after that wait for any suspicious activity, if there is none you must get a new cassette, after you find some suspicious activity come home to work early and hopefully that solves it
So in case anyone was wondering, the recorded dialogue piece comes from this video called "hurt bae asks: why did you cheat?" It's a really good vid tbh, sad but good
Dawg you can literally hear all the elements separately in the video.. And you even see what notes are in the chords. what part is it that you want to see processed?
How to really make Lo-Fi:
1. Girlfriend breaks your heart
2. Blame yourself
3. Make some _s a d_ beats

This is the best music production tutorial on RUclips.

Ignoring the humorous details while net you a honestly very accurate lo-fI tutorial

As sarcastic and clever as this video was, I still can't get over this beat. So sadly soothing. Major props.
Fataak! Videos that's a sort of trademark of lo-fi music, slightly off-kilter beats
lol the beat is not off-beat trust me, that would be unprofessional, its just not a traditional beat you are probably used to hearing
Fataak! Videos It's not off beat, it's just not a standard 4/4 rhythm with hits on down beats that commonly used. The snare hits on upbeats and I think there is a dotted eighth with a sixteenth in there.
