“Let’s see if chat GPT can do any of that”. Well sir..(Lol) in my home it technically does. GPT4 has full access to my HomeAssistant. Thus has access to all my sensors and air quality sensors and my air purifiers. It’s insane! It brings smart home to the next level! Except I also run some local uncensored models too 😜. My voice assistants are exactly Disney PG all the time. But I can. Just ask GPT to write an automation with thresholds or ask it to check air quality and turn on the appropriate filters. Can even ask it to turn on the filters in rooms where people are actually occupying and needs filtration. I can ask what rooms have the purifiers on. Adding an LLM to a central Home automation system is just crazy! Unfortunately, the smaller models for local use aren’t as amazing but, you could run a larger model with a custom/private api if you wanted. I can ask where my wife is and it will automatically look at the home coordinates and her coordinates as then tell me how far way from home she is. It just knows what to do instead of writing scripts and automations.
