🚆 4K Zurich S-Bahn cab ride through four states in late summer (Switzerland | S12 Brugg AG - Wil SG)

- Welcome aboard the Zurich S-Bahn Service S12 from Brugg AG to Wil SG! There's quite a bit of distance in between and today we will cross a total of four cantons (states). It's been a while, but we are back on the newest generation of Zurich S-Bahn EMUs, the Stadler KISS. Our trip takes us through the city center of Zurich and we share a large portion of our line with the S11 that runs 15 minutes offset to us. This allows for a 15min schedule between Killwangen-Spreitenbach and Winterthur, where both lines split their ways again. It is a beautiful late summer day and a relaxing trip to eastern Switzerland awaits us. Sit back and enjoy the ride!

Great Cab Ride I just visited Zurich and Switzerland for 2 weeks looking at the trams in Zurich as well visting the meter gauge railways of Switzerland mostly I vist the Rhatian Railway and the Apperzell Railway hope I vist again soon .

Interessant ist die Strecke ab elgg bis sirnach wo nur Signale auf dem linken Gleis stehen das ist doch recht selten geworden in der Schweiz. Ganz früher war das ja der Normalfall da noch kein gleiswechselbetrieb herrschte.
Zudem ist in Aadorf das alte Stellwerk sowie die zwei Läutwerke zu sehen. In den siebziger Jahren gab es in aadorf und eschlikon noch semaphore. In der Kurve sah man jeweils wie sie nach Durchfahrt der lok herunterklappten.
Good trip, nice weather. When we got to Wil there was 4 or more ways through the track works to finish this journey. The track works are a bit too fail safe and complex.
Wil is quite special (or shall I say weird) in that regard, yes.
I should have been born in Switzerland! I love railways, but here in Brazil they have been eradicated... unfortunately...

Museumstrass is located 16 metres below Zurich 🇨🇭 HB main station and is not only reserved for the S-Bahn network. With the opening in June 2014, 8 underground tracks for European traffic on the north-south axis between Germany, Switzerland and Italy in addition to the S-Bahn network, inaugurated at the end of 1989 with these two terminal tracks. Rail traffic is no longer in a cul-de-sac like the surface station with its 16 tracks, which is characterized by its leading position in Europe and the world with a constantly increasing number of visitors. Komplizierter gehts wohl nicht mehr. Fast jede Weiche steht auf Ablenkung, so dass es über 10 Ecken zum Zielgleis geht.

I used to put river names in my first few videos, but it didn't add value or information in relation to the railway and was confusing at times, so I left it out from there. My personal goal is to keep the videos as tidy as possible and provide a relaxing and beautiful experience, not an information overload. Most viewers seem to be happy with that decision and I will keep it that way. If you want to know what train we just crossed, feel free to simply ask in a comment! If you are referring to the one in the thumbnail, that is an ETR 610 or RABe 503.

Es würde mir im Zugsimulator eine Hilfe bedeuten.

Wir sind Lokführer und nicht Piloten ;-) Den meisten Zuschauern (und mir) gefällt der ungestörte und aufgeräumte Blick auf die Schienen. Die Videos sollen entspanend und schön anzusehen sein und nicht vor Information strotzen, weswegen ich die Geschwindigkeit bewusst auslasse. Wenn du die ungefähre Geschwindigkeit an einer Stelle wissen möchtest, dann rechnest du 360 dividiert durch die Zeit, die wir für 100m gebraucht haben. 100 Meter ist ungefähr der Abstand von zwei Fahrleitungsmasten. Oder einfach fragen!
Okay,bitte entschuldigt mich die Titelung zu „Piloten“! Jedoch seid Ihr für mich neben Flugpiloten für die, die Menschen Sicher ans Ziel bringen!!❤

Du fährst ja fast jede Verbindung
"Ich" bin eben in Wahrheit "wir". ;-) es beteiligen sich mehrere Lokführer an diesen Aufnahmen.
Sehr cool.
Bin eben zurzeit LfA in Rappi. Will eben nacher zu einem grösseren Depot. S-Bahnen sind schön und alles. Will aber auch noch ein bisschen Fernverkehr.

Intéressante vidéo... même si on regrette l’absence de carte, d'indications de vitesse et de signalisation. La vidéo brute n’est plus le standard aujourd'hui en matière de cab ride.
