I honestly didn't like those words but I am sure he didn't mean them like that. We always say "sobonana" because we believe we will and that doesn't necessarily mean we wanna die. This guy innocently means they will follow through and be with him, sooner or later. We mostly believe that we will one day meet all the people we lost, it's really not a shocker, but it was uncomfortable to hear because it is possible.
