CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway) and Clyde Barrow (Warren Beatty) show compassion to a farmer who lost his property to the banks.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Based loosely on the true exploits of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker during the 30s, the film begins as Clyde (Beatty) tries to steal the car of Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway)'s mother. Bonnie is excited by Clyde's outlaw demeanor, and he further stimulates her by robbing a store in her presence. Clyde steals a car, with Bonnie in tow, and their legendary crime spree begins. The two move from town to town, pulling off small heists, until they join up with Clyde's brother Buck (Gene Hackman), his shrill wife Blanche (Estelle Parsons), and a slow-witted gas station attendant named C.W. Moss (Michael J. Pollard). The new gang robs a bank and Clyde is soon painted in the press as a Depression-era Robin Hood when he allows one bank customer to hold onto his money. Soon the police are on the gang's trail and they are constantly on the run, even kidnapping a Texas Ranger (Denver Pyle) and setting him adrift on a raft, handcuffed, after he spits in Bonnie's face when she kisses him. That same ranger leads a later raid on the gang that leaves Buck dying, Blanche captured, and both Clyde and Bonnie injured. The ever-loyal C.W. takes them to his father's house. C.W.'s father disproves his son's affiliation with gangsters and enters a plea bargain with the Texas Rangers. A trap is set that ends in one of the bloodiest death scenes in cinematic history.

I love how the man startled them and Clide goes into full gunslinger mode for a few seconds 😂
The chemistry between those two is burning
I like watching bonnie and clyde movies 😅❤😂😊
Otis Harris and Davis are not listed in the IMDB credits. Does anyone know who plays them?
One day I hope to find me a woman who looks at me like Bonnie looks at Clyde
Omg 😳 That is hilarious because it’s funny AND actually true 😂
FAYE DUNAWAY is one of a kind!
Legends
Amen
I did.
I know Faye Dunaway was popular in the 70s and such but she always reminds me of a golden age actress a classic beauty very ethereal
after he said we rob banks, look at her face aww so cute
Fay Dunaway was a Beautiful Doll Then.
Faye Dunaway is breathtaking here.
she was 27 in that movie too, i think she's gorgeous. she gives me libra vibes even though she's a capricorn, the real bonnie parker was a libra
“We rob banks.” Love how casually he says that
To bad it wasnt true.
Classic.
Ahh I loved this scene but let’s talk about how Clyde in there is a hottie 😻😻no just me okay
That's Warren Beatty
And Faye Dunaway is gorgeous too! It’s sad she ruined her face with surgery😔
I love how she stands close behind him
Destiny Torres . This is the best version . of this movie....
Oh Warren, you charismatic guy.
Damn he was fine
Warren Beatty is one of the old actors we need again ,such great mimical impressions. great movie
After listening to audio of the real Blanche Barrow,
I think this film didn't quite portray the deep Texas accents the gang had.
But to be honest, Blanche's drawl was so thick
I had trouble understanding what she was saying.
One of the best films ever made
I sort of can't believe how beautiful and seductive the mere presence of Faye is... Unreal.
Who else thought of 'The Grapes of Wrath' in this scene?
Well, of course, in a way, Steinbeck/Great Depression era style.
Fine comment! The filmmakers. A whole generation. And I. Bur even more so, there are references to the era as presented in "I'm a fugitive from a chain-gang" et al. Some of the extras in this film had actually met Bonnie and Clyde, and surely the Dust Bowl-days". Some "were robbed by them, were NOT robbed by them, but each seemed to have their own recollection of Bonnie and Clyde. When you look at the faces - this farmer, he KNOWS what's in store for the couple - it is more than "mere" acting...
The hottest Clyde lol
Incidentally, a few years ago, I saw a college production of the Broadway musical *Bonnie & Clyde* (not based on this movie) and the actor playing Clyde was drop-dead gorgeous: handsome face/build (he was in just his skivvies in some scenes) and eyes you could still tell from a distance were light-colored. But the killer was his voice! Needless to say, many of us were swooning (perhaps even lusting) for him throughout. 😂
2005 - AFI's 100 Years...100 Movie Quotes - #41
"We rob banks." - #41
👍
This was always my favorite scene.
Watched this a little while ago, I think about this scene all the time.
Warren Beatty was born for this kind of movies.
Loved that revolutionary movie I saw in 1968. Loved Bonnie and Clyde, young and beautiful. And I hated the cops....!!!! Well revolutionary.!!!
One of the things I noticed was that the old farmer asked Bonnie and Clyde: "Ya'll mind?" It was customary to ask a white person - or couple as it were, in the case here - if they minded being introduced to a black fellow(Davis). It was if they had to asked AHEAD OF TIME if it was OK for a black to come into their presence! Times sure have changed.
no it had nothing to do with it as you can see it was the asking as if it would be okay to allow others to have a heavy clear shot at the window its called making the money creeps pay for some thing that they also dont want to pay for besides actually taking care of others
Dale you are an idiot.
Dale u must be the Dale from Stepbrothers. Idiot. 😆
@@heyjessie884 I know thats white.
I didn’t think it had to do with his race, I thought he asked if they minded his friend using more of their ammo to take a shot at the house
This film was very controversial, when it was released. I remember looking at it on tv.
Faye Dunaway was so adorable here. Was she a natural blonde or had her hair dyed for the role?
yes she's a natural blonde, even more beautiful now at the age of 83
Warren Beatty is gorgeous!!!! The things I would do to that man.
Ikr omg
Faye Dunaway is gorgeous and Warren Beatty is dreamy😍
My favourite scene in the Movie, beautiful.
The actor who plays the farmer is so bad he is good. Arthur Penn worked wonders with this cast.
In celluloid realms where legends reside, A sunlit crown adorned her golden head. Faye Dunaway, Bonnie’s fierce stride, Her beauty, a tale that time has spread.
Eyes alight with mischief and desire, She danced with danger, defying fate. In shadows and sunsets, her fire, A siren’s call, irresistible, innate.
Her laughter echoed through dusty roads, As Clyde’s partner-in-crime, she soared. A rebel’s heart, love’s wild abode, Faye Dunaway, forever adored.
So raise a glass to Bonnie’s grace, To Faye-the muse of outlaw dreams. Her legacy etched in film’s embrace, A sun-kissed legend, brighter than it seems.
Bonnie and Clyde kept the whole of America in fear, because they had a rabbit in their car, which Bonnie took to her mother as a gift, named SON
Ohhh they def need to stop remaking disney and start remaking old classics.... I mean love the old classics as they are but would love to see today's actors tackle these rolls...
Who would you cast in these roles today?
Thats a good ide
@@musicaltheatergeek79 no idea?! Just saying that I'd love to see the classics remade, see if the actors can still convey the same feeling... Idk
@xxaleenazxx yes...
Trouble is: only DISNEY would bankroll making old classics, so they end up Disneyfied and crap anyway.
i love the dorothea lange tribute at 0:48
Only if she is Faye
Past life Bonnie n Clyde I can prove it ask him about his toe I haven't seen his toe in this life does it still. Bother u
Bankster more evil than anybody.
If that old farmer realised that there was a HUGE reward on those 2 ..... he could've bought his farm back !!
Ha!
Best thing about this movie was Faye Dunaway. Warren Beatty on the other hand was a nonpresence. You could have gotten Robert Redford or Ryan O Neal to play Clyde and this movie still would have worked...
Joanne Woodward would have worked
I think the casting is perfect honestlt
Apart from the fact he was the producer so
He looked more like Clyde
The Great Depression was a direct result of the unconstitutional implementation of the Federal Reserve Bank. That depression showed our corporate world banking cartel members just how close they could shear a sheep without actually skinning it. My grandfather born in 1917 was discussing this with me many years ago and he said: "You can shear a sheep many a time but you can only skin it once."
True
I wonder who the black man named Davis was?
Oscars blooper bring me to here!
2:47 Clyde: we rob banks really why must he tell that guy that for today that guy could've ratted Clyde and bonnie out that's like dumb I can imagine Clyde today his Twitter page his Instagram page and his Facebook would all read we rob banks meaning him and bonnie sad ending they had.
Oh lord girl. Things didn't work that way back then. Especially in the South.
@@JD97711 I didnt know that but today you just can't go and tell people you rob banks you'll go to prison.
Ashley Smith are you dumb? This incident was in the 1930s, the law wasn’t as advanced as today
He’s telling the farmer to form a sort of alliance with him, almost as if Clyde was making a statement that the reason he is robbing banks is for people like him :) romanticised sure but that’s kinda the idea
!!! We rob banks !!!
in the 1930's, young adults play with guns unlike today, who play with smartphones
You said that like that's a good thing that kids played with guns.
I mean kids now days don't really need guns
This movie has too much romanticizing, they rob and murdered random innocent people too, not just the bank
That was kind of the point. Having the villains be romanticized as rebellious youth's fighting the system. Perfect contrast for the late 1960s era.. this movie broke ground on what has been seen before but not like this before. Famous anti hero films came from the success of this project and as you can see. Holds pretty well still today.
❤❤❤❤❤
ချစ်စရာကောင်းတယ်❤
Exactly, what is shooting out the windows going to solve? A cool way to break the ice, I guess.
One way to look at it is the bank will have to sell the house at a lesser price because of the damage, which means they won't profit as much from it.
It was aimed at the banks. Not breaking the ice. The banks took his house so he shot the house to increase damage to property to get back at the banks.
My favorite movie
!!! We rob banks !!!
We rob banks
I hope one day to find a woman who looks like Bonnie.
Amazingly dumb how people idolize and revere criminals.
I absolutely agree. Banks are run by criminals and I can't believe anyone would think they do any good in the world.
Ulti. ate movie masterpiece today!!
@@AdhamOhm Literally
How can they fire a gun designed to hold six bullets eight times without reloading?
Where did you get that idea? Look again. Clyde reloads.
Well, I'll be damned, he does.
Good Times, Tom!
Lil’Man run it on all streaming platforms bought me here
bonnie gionet

Love it
We rob bank's
BONNIE AND CLYDE!
Babe ! ♡ Y♡U!
This movie could have used a lot more scenes like this one.
For real the rest of it is quite dull
We rob bank's
Yes, but he didn't put the apostrophe on banks.
HI We Rob Banks 🏦 lol
Yes, we do and will again..very soon.
we rob banks!
Gang gang
Great movie but i guess there werent actors that were like 4'11 and 5'7 to play Bonnie and Clyde. Warren Beatty and faye dunnaway would look like giants stabding next to the real couple.
$$$
!!! We rob banks !!!
$$$
We rob banks
the woman who played Blanche Barrow irritated me with her hysterics
Well, it's a true story, and she actually was hysterical, so.
At the time….Blanche Barrow was in reality a very beautiful woman, and much more calm under stress than is portrayed in the movie.
I went to Las Vegas and actually saw their cat
Car
I never knew they had a cat. It is stuffed for sure and in a museum. Which museum has their cat?
Firing off some BARS
Looking at the comments, man, so many people misunderstand this scene and the motivations of the characters - it has to be explained by other commenters. Is this what it's like with young viewers of classic movies? Unless it's made by Michael Bay, you just don't get it?
Typical Hollywood clap-trap. Neither in the way of personality, or in depiction, could it be farther from the truth or reality.
David Najor its a movie not a documentary
I've studied the pair for over 20 years, and I gotta say the film was pretty factual. Sure, they condensed the timeline and omitted certain people/events and utilized composite characters, but all biopics do that for time purposes. That said, the movie does tend to romanticize their misdeeds.
@@musicaltheatergeek79 Yeah, it does. They were not nice people. There were at least 13 murders, and with as little as police organizations communicated in those days, they likely killed more than that. They weren't bank robbers. They were mass murderers. And they really, really enjoyed it.
