Cadin is just so adorably noble and earnest about everything. I love characters like that. Charming is probably my favorite Yo-kai tribe.

I see you're having a little too much fun with Nate's singsong "I'm ho-ooooome". Otherwise, you do pretty well on voicing the character impressions.
I've watched your whole let's play of this game. Now I'm waiting for the announcement for the UK release. The wait is long, painful and killing me.

I've seen Jibanyan on a lot of yo kai watch merchandise...I quess he's this franchise's version of pikachu.
hes also the eevee of the game theres like 12 different versions of jibanyan in this game alone

So after 2 episodes these seems like a really cool game, combing elements from Pokemon, Mystery Dungeon and a lot of original and funny elements. If only I had a 3DS.....and money

Johne since you're playing this game here's some tips :
1)Use the lens as much as possible during boss fights it helps tremendously and it's absolutely necessary to beat the Doctor.
2)Check the Gachapon machine daily,it can give you Youkai you'll get coins from the post office and it's the only way to obtain Goldenyan which is the best Youkai in the game.
3)Some Youkai can only evolve through fusion with items,so don't be surprised that they don't evolve even though you level them up
I'm so sorry for the long ass post but i'm so happy that you're playing this gem,cause some people would just shove it off as a Pokemon clone.

I like this a lot! Its A LOT more like Persona 2 with how, from what I've seen of it, you get new Yokai by making them happy and how the dungeons work plus how its in a city, and also like Devil Survivor with how the Yokai fight for you! I really don't see the Pokemon in this at all. I mean yeah there's the whole monster collecting but its more SMT than that anyway since SMT did it first (well apparently it did). So basically its like a more happier version of a SMT game!!!!!

Having played the demo of YKW, I totally see how with its battle system is unique among RPGs. It's even kind of ... RTS-like, in a way. The one complaint I do have is the rice-ball friendship: apparently, outside of the first few tutorials on befriending Yokai, whether or not the Yokai will offer to be a friend is up to random chance. This is one system I've never liked in any RPG -- beat them first and "maybe" you can recruit them. Pokemon's main capture rule (i.e. you cannot KO something if you want to catch/recruit it) has always been a better, more interesting system to me.

Jibanyan is basically the Pikachu of this game. I love it's story tho. He's just trying to fight trucks! Also, I believe you could only use one item in a battle. Also, try using the lens more; it helps!
You probably know this but at kinda random time you get to use another item

Also i dont know about the game but in the Anime we see the full story of Amy and Jibanyan, it was honestly heartbreaking, practicly cried.

Actually all the eyepo do is heal you up and let you switch yo kai,you probably know that by now

The battle mechanics kind of seem distracting.
Look at the main screen action but you have to do things on the mini screen in order to get a result.
