So much of this film back in 1955 was still the same when I arrived in Chatham in 1971, a young college student. I have to say, Chatham today, is more the same as it is in this movie, than it is different in 2023! This is a wonderful 8mm film, TY!

I grew up in Chatham and I was only a year old when this film was made. It's really wonderful to see this and think that anybody would have known how valuable it would be to look back and see Chatham as it used to be. Thank you for posting this.
I wonder why he landed in the grass next to the runway instead of on the tarmac? When watching the part where they're driving around town, I kept wanting to control the camera and turn it in other directions!
