I am sorry but this was no review in my opinion. This was an unboxing+
When I see a review, I expect to get informations about what I am buying, you delivered some like going into the controls. However honestly speaking the control side of things for me does not deserve any kind of attention if it works as expected.
What I am missing is some fundamental technical information about the fixture I am buying. That would include power draw and brightness measurements at a very least. Then the beam angle could be controlled, electrical safety is of importance (eg is the fixture earthed?), does the psi have standard safety features, has the Par an emergency shut of when the temperature gets to high, etc.
Also comparing the fixture side by side to another fixture, not by directly looking into the fixture (which is not relevant for use and is additionally obviously not a suitable method for showing the brightness).
I understand that not everyone has the capabilities to test a Chinese no Name fixture for electrical safety (I don’t have either) however that this fixture does not draw 96W is obvious, this can be measured so easily and how much it actually draws would impact the purchase desicions of the audience very much. Please test this. This is meant as constructive criticism, I would love to see you doing actual (what I consider to be) reviews :-)
And one last thing: the beam angle is not modified by dimming. The beam angle stays the same, it is just That the brightness in the outer areas is so low that you are not seeing it as being illuminated.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I agree that this video is not a product review as I stated in the video that this was a box opening and first look at this fixture. Understandably, a review would entail more detailed information on the fixtures specifications including power consumption, safety features, dimensions etc.
I also, understand that demonstrating this light pointed at the camera was not ideal specifically to show wall wash, beam angle, brightness and color quality, but that is how this was filmed and not necessarily my choice, more the choice of the studio and camera operator.
I do like going over the functions and settings of the light including DMX and that's not necessarily for the experienced lighting operators out there but more so for the novice as an instructional resource to basic operations and connecting DMX. I assume my viewers are at different skill levels and I try to consider all skill levels who may be watching to assist the beginners and not offend a seasoned operator while addressing and describing fixture functionality.
I appreciate your constructive criticism regarding this video and will take your suggestions to heart when reviewing future products.
Thank you for watching 👀 and commenting!
