I admire Sarah's resilience and strategic thinking. Despite being underestimated by her family, she not only built something from scratch but also found a way to reclaim what was rightfully hers when she was pushed out. Her story is a powerful reminder that hard work and determination often lead to success, even when others try to undermine you.
Sarah’s story is the perfect example of quiet strength. Emma and her dad underestimated her, but she proved that actions speak louder than arrogance. Building a $50M company and reclaiming it? Absolute boss move!
My Daughter has an MBA, is a Lawyer, and owns a law firm. I'm just a goat farmer in the middle of nowhere. What my Daughter built is 100% hers. I only watch from a distance. The Christmas presents, Fathers day gifts always seem to get better each year. I'm retired don't really need or want much. I live in a remote area, where people don't bother me. Still married to my Highschool girl friend of like 45 years now. Most of the time it is so quiet here you can hear a pin drop in another room. I love the peacefulness of it all!
I've seen similar incidents in my career. It is the talker who claims the credit for what others do and generally end up with the awards. Quiet workers are often unrewarded and ignored.
if u came from a big family u would cuz u realize how different people really are even in the same family. im the youngest of 8. some of my siblings i cannot take for more than 10 min so i understood why my dad didnt like them much either
This video was beyond perfect. I just love how Sarah saved herself and kept what she built. I myself went thru something very similar but I didn’t have the documentation that you Sarah created to protect yourself and you accomplished. Congratulations on what you accomplished. In actuality the moral of the story isn’t so much as to what you learned in school but what you experience in the working world that helps tremendously towards much success. We learn concepts in school but we do not necessarily learn how to apply them in the real business world, which is what experience teaches us. Thank you for sharing this story.
If Sarah is so worthless, how did she build a small company up to a $50 million dollar company? They thought she was a pushover. The father should feel more ashamed than anyone.
i LIKE THE REAL STORY THAT MADE THE NEWS YEARS AGO. They fired a development DBA and when they did, they dropped his account from the mainframe and the entire company stopped working. The idiots did not know that developers, in the eyes of the computer, own the software they create until the reassign it. Basically HR told the computer to remove him and all his programs.
Old saying : You can pick your Friends, not your family./////// I've disowned a few family members. Now out of six of us , I'm the only one left. All the rest have passed on. I'm 63 years old.
Fakeness flashed into my mind as soon as I realized that Dad was so "proud" of one daughter at the expense of another daughter. Why would a father be proud that a daughter got deposed?.
Yeah I had a hot dog stand run by my father and when I took it over due to providing mustard for the hot dogs I grew it from 500 a week to 20 million a week. All by myself. Didn't need to hire anyone or anything just me supplying 420000 hot dogs in 8 hours. Next week I added onions and slaw and it went ot 50 million a week! Again no need to hire anyone to help with production as I just hand chopped 50K onions a day in my spare time. Sheesh the unrealistic stories people tell.
If Sarah was able to build a $50 million company, it’s clear that she not only has the skills but also the strength and perseverance. The fact that her father and others underestimated her is a huge mistake. This is a clear example that you shouldn’t judge others just by their outward appearance or initial impressions.
Damn girl! And they say women can't do it all, WRONG!! to the core. Plus the father and sister are leeches, big time. She did the right thing, and she followed her own path with heart.
I built my company from a fifteen dollar investment ( bought three boxes of drywall mud ) and kept at it for twenty seven years. I’ve raised my family by it college, what nots, everything they desired and when I needed a hand they all left. Nothing. Big life lesson for me after making millions and helping employees start their own businesses the part that hurts is when you go to leave it debt free to your children they want nothing to do with it. And life goes on.
It's already a little bit unbelievable, the story. But the nail in the coffin? You did give him the wrapped gift. You didn't keep it. You did it as you walked out that night of the party. Proofread your scripts. You're a good storyteller I mean that in a good way.
This is the second story in two days about an ambitious, well-meaning daughter learning just how ungrateful and selfish her family was. Family is still important and difficult to navigate at times. But it is worth pursuing.
First rule of business 1: actually building businesses means more to people than a business degree. The degree like an art degree helps you acquire skills that you can get by doing it, rule 2: never piss off the person who owns your patents.
Hmmm. At the so called "birthdat party" for her dad, after Sarah had been ripped to shreds by her sister, the story says she walked over to her dad put down a small wrapped package, wished him a happy birthday, and left. But at the end of the story she said she kept that wrapped package that she "never gave dad." Which is it? She went to his table wished him a happy birthdat and gave it to him -- or did not?
This is BS, because she says at the end she still has the birthday present she ' never gave dad ' ... but earlier she claims to have given dad the present right before she left the party.... That is what is known as " GOTCHA " ...
The story reminds me of the situation which developed between my father, sister(sadly both now "late") and I, when my father aided by my sister and her also late husband, tried to sell the family farming enterprise I had spent 6 years building. My sister believed that she would inherit substantially and was even prepared to put valuable livestock at risk, during a necessary week's absence from the farm, by me. Sadly for him, my late father behaved not only badly, but also foolishly and eventually backed himself into a legal corner he could not escape from. Towards the end of the battle my sister realised my father's true narcissistic nature when he then renaged on promises he had made to both her husband and herself. She and I, eventually reconciled, but a shadow of bitterness always remained for me. Unfortunately the old adage that, "Blood is Thicker Than Water...!", often has an over-rider that.... "However...Money is THICKER Than BLOOD..."!!
Not Sarah Chen again! Sarah Chen is or has been an admiral, commander, general, doctor, scientist, space ship captain, barristo owner, mother, aunt, and probably a dog walker, deep sea diver, tank commander, and author of stories featuring Sarah Chen. So guess what? Im going to find a story which, hopefully, doesn't include Sarah Chen or one of her many family members. If I missed any professions, please feel free to comment.
It is so embarrassing how the people of this Country have become so stupid!! All the people commenting on this story🙄 “and they say women can’t do it all” “if she is so worthless how did she build a $50 million company?” This is just a made up story! Sarah is not real! That family is not real! How could anyone think this is real?! So stupid….
its sad that they destroyed the family but want you to feel guilty for it....this is the year i take back me....not figuring out other people ways out of issues...not going to let people treat me like a bug but then come to me for a solution to whatever they have gotten themselves into....i am worth something...if not to them, then to me at least
It's one thing to have a degree from a college or university, it's another to have real-world experiences. While a degree gives a person background information that can be used in life, real-world experiences go beyond having only information. Hands-on experiences will always beat book learning because they provide the person with experiences only studied by the book-learned individual. When the individuals in a business are only concerned with making themselves look good, that business will, at some point, extinguish itself. Leaders should never try and make the business about themselves but about their product and the employees who make the business possible. An excellent leader has a nose that knows what's happening in the business and when it's necessary to step in and make needed changes or let things continue as they are. Those who never start at the bottom of a business ladder never fully understand what the business is all about. They never learn how the business runs properly or how decisions can affect customers or clients or the health of the business.
Your AI apparently forgot that Sara gave the present to her Dad, said Happy Birthday, and then left the hall! You really should change the character names. Sara Chen is so overused that it is distracting and really runs the story!
You can’t pick your family, it’s was your hard work that built the company, don’t worry about the unsupportive family, they started it and gave you no choice, nothing in life is free, so why should your sister get a free ride
Ridiculous story Are you really going to tell me that NOBODY noticed she owned 51% of the business, including the mythical board members??? Why is there a board when it is privately owned??? There wouldn't be. If the main character, Sarah Chen, owns 51% and the father owns 24% as well as the sister's 25%, there was no real revenge here. How did the father or his attorneys not realize by selling his shares to Sarah, he was no longer the majority shareholder and Sarah now was??? How many people would like to own 25% of a $50 million dollar company??? I would. Stupid and a Big Down Vote plus no subscription as there are a thousand other channels with equally crappy stories to watch LOL.
Ridiculous story, just good to be a movie-script. Not one intelligent personwould agree with a firm, CEO, … treating his employees, family in such an unrespectfull way.
I'll take... Things that never happen for $1000. Gives present to father as she leaves party, maybe someday I'll give him the present, at the end. This is the reason RUclips has a "Don't recommend this channel" option
My Guess is that it was an alternative present, when She caught wind of Her sister's trickery, to take over the company. I also think that the Sister's plan was to increase her salary dramatically with being the CEO.
I admire Sarah's resilience and strategic thinking. Despite being underestimated by her family, she not only built something from scratch but also found a way to reclaim what was rightfully hers when she was pushed out. NEVER mix family with business, this is a perfect example.
What a cruel elder sister that Emma is. That serves her best.
I've seen similar incidents in my career. It is the talker who claims the credit for what others do and generally end up with the awards. Quiet workers are often unrewarded and ignored.
Business is business. Family is family. Usually doesn’t mix well!
Been there done that, never again.
This is a good reason to not mix business with family. I've never understood parents having favorites as children.
if u came from a big family u would cuz u realize how different people really are even in the same family. im the youngest of 8. some of my siblings i cannot take for more than 10 min so i understood why my dad didnt like them much either
Of all the things that never happened, this never happened the most *wipes away a tear* ...
I voted the same way you did. Haha.
please get the AI who wrote this to change the character names between stories, as poor Sarah Chen has been done over by everyone of her 8 families
Not to mention the flood of Sarah Chens in the sci-fi stories...
The only thing worse than a backstabber are two backstabber's, and both are family members . I feel your pain sarah.
Finaly… OP is no doormat! Love it! ❤❤❤
Yes, a lot of us love fiction.
Sarah Chen, Marine Major, Starship Captain, directing Earths forces against rampaging aliens and now CEO of a tech company. That girl gets around.
Yes she does. Alas, Ambassador Sarah Chen was executed by the Galactic Council. RIP Sarah. I miss you.😢
Sarah Chen features in ALL these stories..even in other creators stories..
100% with Sarah, a very, very satisfying story. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall😂😂😂😂

I see you like fiction.
Poor Sarah deserves a break-she’s been through enough already!!
The same thing happened to me and I am the oldest son. Only in the end, I retired at 52 and they went bankrupt within two years.
One of the better stories of heard lately
Sarah Chen gets around 😂
If Sarah is so worthless, how did she build a small company up to a $50 million dollar company? They thought she was a pushover. The father should feel more ashamed than anyone.
Sometimes I wonder if these stories are legit real or made up & exaggerated?
in their mind it was under their "guidance" so she or anyone could have done it and so do not matter
@@defunct32it is hard to believe that a father would treat his daughter this way 😮
YOU DO KNOW THEYS ARE JUST FAIREY TAILS . NOT AT ALL REAL . JUST LOOK AT THEM AS 99.99 PERCENT NOT TRUE OK
@@defunct32 MADE UP
The day of family means more than money is gone. I realized this 5 years ago when my parents died
Some times it's better not to be so well off!
Sarah chen is a very popular name in online stories. I can totally believe that she would write this.
I can relate to EVERYTHING that was said here. . Same thing happened to me in our family business. Our family business is now defunct.
😪
Yeah, the smooth talker is never the worker. I've been on the losing side many times.
You choose your friends, you're afflicted with your family.

I love the fact you think this story is real.
Very formulaic.
The moral of the story: Never mix business and family. One may thrive but the other will definitely suffer.
Great story.😮😅 thank you

Shoot! You pushed your button faster than me.

Great story. I hope it's true.
Nice story. Great moral lesson. 👌
Sarah Chen is everywhere....she keeps popping up in the ai stories on the hyfy channel.....
I am a Robot !
I wonder if this Sarah Chen is a descendent of the Sarah Chen in all sci-fi stories
Why Knott

Dad should be counting his blessings that he has a substantial retirement because of her and not Emma.
Family, people under normal circumstances you would never hang out with.
next up in our ai fake story rotation: how this family's dog conspired to steal a five generational used caulk repurposing business....
EXCELLENT
Should’ve left as soon as the sister moved in
This is like listening to a modern marriage, He builds the house, but She to live in it because He’s Worthless.

It's a good thing the Chens don't live next to an HOA.
OP did not break the family. Sister and dad did.

"Sarah Chen" is a popular name for protagonists in AI-written fiction. Just saying 🤔
This is more common than you know..watch your back..
Did she give her dad the birthday present as she left the party (as she said) or did she never give it to him? Pick one.

Error in the last comment. She gave her father the gift as she left the room after her blind sister tried to take from her
What!? Did someone license the name Sara Chen out for use?

100%, I think it’s even more than that. Quite pathetic really. Will put this channel in the ignore bin.
Got to a minute and had enough.
I think it's best not to mix family with work and career
Did she give her dad the present at the party or not?
Now that story I liked.
I've seen a lot of these fake-believe stories on RUclips recently.
Good move! Detach...
Sounds like dribble to me, A story of fiction like most content on the internet!

at 15:35 an inconsistency . . . Two presents? one she gave at "the party" and one she kept?
Fiction story but this does happen in real life.
I thought she gave her father's birthday gift at the party?
My Guess is that it was an alternative present, when She caught wind of Her sister's trickery, to take over the company. I also think that the Sister's plan was to increase her salary dramatically with being the CEO.
AI forgot
You’re right. I. Caught that too. …. p.s. this is a fabricated story imo. Dave in Omaha
Like someone mentioned, 'click bait' it is... Save 15 mins of your life and get out of here!!!

Sarah should have certainly been more forceful, it was her company no matter what her sister said.
