What a fantastic place..and a kite surfing action girl ...stunning views from your drone..food looked very enticing yummy..thanks for posting a superb vid ..nice one Lea and travel partner ..see you next Thursday 🙂👍
Lea, you have become an expert documentary filmmaker. And welcome back. This is a wonderful video. Always more interesting when you go, ' off the beaten track', to place I have never heard of. Looking forward to your next installment. Hope you are well, wherever you are. Stay safe. Cheers, Dan. 🏍😃🇨🇦
Thank you Dan! Yes for me it’s much more interesting too - as well when editing the video. I have to admit that Tulum didn’t give me too much joy while I loved to work on this video!
My fiancé and I were in El Cuyo for a week, at the beginning of March 2020 right before Covid. I have such strong memories from that time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much! I want to learn more about El Cuyo since we plan to go next month for the first time. I hope you have others!
You're one super lucky girl Lea but I imagine you already knew that ;-) Thank you so much for showing us this part of Mexico, I so much wish I was there !
Beautiful place, just got back to Tulum from El Cuyo. Spent two nights and we were regulars to Naia Cafe, the golden Latte was the best. We made it to Las Coloradas following the long way and it was nice to experience once. Thank you for your nice video.
We are headed there in a few hours . Driving over from our home in Puerto Morelos for a few days of rest and relaxation. We are pleased to find your travel video. Excellent work ! Thank you 🙏
We spent 4 days in El Cuyo last week . The air BnB was on the east side of the central, on the beach . We found excellent food options everywhere and never cooked a meal once . I plan on heading back in a few weeks , it was so beautiful and no taxis like we have in the Rivera Maya
Simply stunning I never knew this place existed and brilliant film making to boot. This has just confirmed I need to exercise my wanderlust after seeing this. Thank you Lea. x
Your editing and framing is 1st Class, the content genuinely more entertaining and informative than for example BBC Travelogues that are at least an hour long. Beautiful scenes and so well presented I am not joking when I say that you need an Agent to allow them to be enjoyed by a far greater audience. As always an excellent video, many thanks.
Hello Lea, been a while and good to see you travelling again, what a super place to visit, kite surfing and fabulous food, your book is still not started, saving it for later as we head towards winter, stay safe, D
Of all the beautiful things in this video, the one thing that made me tear up was how it was described getting to ElCuyo. No google map, no gps. That's how we gave directions as a kid, look for the gate, the chicken lady, pass the hardware store and keep going lol.
Fantastic video work, Lea. I did wonder though about restrictions on use of drones in nature reserves like Ria Lagartos - especially where nesting birds are found. I think it's common in such places that they're not permitted without permission.
I always follow drone laws strictly, read up about the different laws for each country and try to take care about the surroundings - different from the USA in Mexico it’s not forbidden to fly in nature reserves, it’s only forbidden to fly at historical sites like all the maya ruins (getting a drone registered in Mexico is more difficult though but that’s another story). As you can see in the video I flew the drone pretty high (plus my drone has as well a zoom, so it’s even higher than you might think) to not disturb the birds on the ground. You can see that they are not bothered at all, they don’t even look up or find anything strange because I kept so much distance to them (to be honest I as well don’t want to get too close to birds anyways - don’t want to lose the drone because a bird attacks it 😅). You can always be sure that I respect the drone laws of each country - sometimes I use the grey zones to my advantage though. 😅
Everything looks so good I am torn between this trip ending and the next start. Is flying a dron in wind not difficult. Got me with the food again. I have a 4.9m power kit (not for water). I wish kit surfing was around a long time ago, to bad. Good show.
The drone can’t be flown if the wind gets too strong - that’s why I for example couldn’t make drone shots of the Kitesurfing. But a little wind is ok, you just have to fly very careful.
Beautiful! Will be going there soon! On the small driving path between El Cuyo & Las Coloradas, is there any time of day you need to avoid due to high tide??
Greetings, you were in the state of Yucatan, and you did not go to the Mayan Route, the famous Pooc route, we hope it is not the only one you see that you are in our lands, a great greeting and good routes
Realmente si es espectacular, para el que quiera o le interese vivir o invertir en el Cuyo, yo tengo terrenos en venta justo ahí y muy cerca de ahí, saludos y a sus ordenes.
Please watch my live chat „what’s next“ if you want to know everything. There I explain why I came to Mexico and that it’s only a Short stop before going to the USA (where I went to live for a few months and not only to travel). Simple answer: because it would have been way too complicated with all our luggage for work and riding gear. Other answer: I have been to the yucatan peninsula on my world trip - and the roads are very boring. For me it would have been not worth it to rent a bike only for yucatan.
NO!! "Las Coloradas" does not mean "The colored", In Spanish you there is more than one way to name colors, and "colorada" is basically "Red". wherever you found that info I can assure you is incorrect. (But I love your videos :-)
Really if it is spectacular, for those who want or are interested in living or investing in the Cuyo, I have land for sale right there and very close to there, greetings and your orders
I wouldn’t go the coastal dirt road with a car with no high clearance, the road is really bumpy and can be wet. All other roads are fine. Just ask the locals they know the current condition of the roads best
Just got back from visiting El Cuyo and I can tell you it is the most beautiful beach 🏖 I have ever seen. Way better than Cancun and any other beach.
Thumbs up.. Another great video.. Thank you again for bringing it to my home..
One more time that you make me smile again. Thank you Lea 🙏
Thanks for watching again!
Many thanks! Loved watching!
Thank you!
Wow what a informative video Awesome 🤩🏍🏍🏍🏴🏴
Estuvo tan ameno y entretenido, que se me hizo corto el vídeo, felicitaciones por tan buen video.🇬🇹💞
I think that Mexico finds a place on my bucket list.
It’s pretty! But for motorcycling I can highly recommend to leave the Yucatán peninsula and explore other places in Mexico like copper canyon!
Wow, lean back and enjoy El Cuyo and Lea presenting it! A wonderful video about an exotic paradise, thanks a lot!!
Thank you Christoph! Soon you can as well enjoy some more bike content again!

This is YT channel I always wanted to watch... I love your english
Hi from Mexico!! Pretty nice video. I love Mexican Caribe!!
Thank you!
That was a lovely video. I would not go for kite surfing like you did but definitely I would go for the food 😀
Food, beach and nature reserve are not a bad combination either!
What beautiful places. Lea, it is seen that Kite is the sport out there, as well as food. Thanks Lea from Argentina.
Gorgeous place
Danke für das unterhaltsame Video, Lea. Das Wetter ist dort viel schöner als hier, genauso wie die Landschaft.
Ja, das Wetter ist in der Tat besser. Nächste folge gibt es allerdings auch in Mexico Regen 😅
My fiancé and I were in El Cuyo for a week, at the beginning of March 2020 right before Covid. I have such strong memories from that time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
nice video always love mexico very beautiful country and good foods
Much more remote. Great video. I always think the best things about a place are, the people (in moderation), the food and the solitude!
What a wonderful video! Thank you so much! I want to learn more about El Cuyo since we plan to go next month for the first time. I hope you have others!
Love Mexican food!!😋specially 🌶 spicy 🌮 tacos!!😋😋😋
Me too. It’s all sooooo good.
What a video intro Lea, wow, simply wow!! I just traveled to Mexico in 15 minutes and came back! 👍👍
Thank you so much! ☺️

The remote nature reserve is apparently accessible for all of us. Cool we can go and visit it too.
Yes, and it’s accessible to everyone who tolerates their car gets a bit beaten up by the bumps. 🤯
Hola, gracias por hacernos conocer semejantes lugares. Hermoso video. Ganas de viajar en moto. Saludos.
Mexican food is the best 😋🌱
رائع 👍🌹

Lots of delicious food. My family and I used to go to Mexico about every year when I was growing up.

Glad you didn't skip this wonderful trip in your video series due to a lack of a motorcycle! I really enjoyed it, even though it was on 4 wheels!
Me too! Sometimes it’s as well very relaxing to just go in a car - an ac has definitely it’s advantages 😂
Awesome places!!
Thank you 🙏🏻
