I feel the same way Mr. Shiny Pikachu. He literally forgot to dash for the bosses and it took him until the ooze boss to learn to duck again
Don't get me wrong. I'm pretty bad at the game, too. It took me a long time to finish off most bosses. It just infuriates me, though, to see people who blatantly ignore core game mechanics three seconds after they've been introduced.

You also have to duck sometimes on some stuff..

Hey Dan, anything that's reddish -pink, you can parry on by a special jump. You can learn how to parry if you forget in the tutorial. The parry allows you to use those special powers faster. Parrying also gives you a better score. You can use your special powers upwards. One last thing: You can dash in mid-air.
At 6:48 in the video when Dan fights the onion if you don't shoot him you can skip the onion
