- At the biggest fireworks competition in the world - L'International des Feux Loto-Québec in Montreal - Maude, Eric, Sebastien and Philippe help their British friends stage an ambitious show, power-packed with over 10,000 effects.
The work goes well until the night before the show when a flash flood wipes out their set-up. Then in Berlin, Eric, Benoit, Hugues, and Philippe take on five European teams at Pyronale, the "World Cup" of fireworks. A festival they expect to be genteel and refined turns into a bare-knuckle battle as each team pulls out all the stops to launch the most impressive show and bring home a gold trophy.
Pyro is awesome and Maude is beautiful. Love this show!

GFA ruled that show, even cheaters (like Malta) couldnt beat em. All my respect to these Canadian pyros, Here in Finland we had annual competitions of usually about 5 different countries/makers. I missed 2 of them in a decade, now they dont do it anymore. They had only limitations back then were that show must cost under 50K euros/competitor. Best live shows I have witnessed
Everyone on here keeps saying the best fireworks are from Italy and Spain...have they ever heard of seen Japanese fireworks? By far the best!

I don't like japanese fireworks. They're all the same. Sure they are nice, good colors... that's all. They're all ball shells. No variety...
That Finnish show made me proud! We have used to shows with great timing because in many cities huge shells are forbidden. 12" shells in our shows are rare these days. mostly 8" shells in finales for a long time now, seen under 20 10" shells during couple of years. Also our consumer firework laws are getting more and more tighter every year, if I recall 2" is maximum shell diameter and 75g is maximum pyrotechnic composition in a stick rocket BUT cakes go as high as 2kg of powder.

Im from the future and they teamed up with dragon fireworks on montreal 2018 fireworks competition. Dragon fireworks had a problem exporting their own fireworks from the philippines and they had to import some from ybe gfa company itself.

remember firework laws are different in each country and i know most maltese multibreak shells are banned for use in pyrotechniks display's

yes italy has pizza lambos and huge 10 or 12 inch multibreak shells in usa we hardly see them kind at the pgi you see them also check out northren lighters they have a show with hammer draw out shell of shells hummer lampare etc yes spain japan holland germany france have wonderfull shells as do canada usa etcfireworks forever

that team aren`t maltese ther were no maltese fireworks there . maltese wheals dont work with eletric motors. not one singil maltese shell.

It is lead and owned by Maltese, but every country has different laws and they won't allow Maltese shells and wheels to be driven by fireworks.

Kind of a disgrace for us Maltese. By no way I am saying it was a bad show, but we have made multiple shows in Malta that where by far better and superior to the one shown in here. Not to mention alots of effects only found in Malta such as Maltese shells are not used which is a huge disappointment.
What a stupid rule. Just arbitrary.
