Oh my gosh I think I am borderline INFJ because I’m technically INFP but I laughed so hard at that one. I am soooo guilty of doing this to simply avoid conflict with people. 😬
Dude it's like that sometimes at work, I have to think really hard on how I'm going to try to end the hostility from another person towards anyone, myself included.

Very true, I'm so self aware when I feel angry, that it's almost impossible to just blurt out my anger, as I'm too concerned with what the correct course of action is, ex. empathy for them, a heavy hand, standing up for myself, walking away etc. I just need a minute to think!
I feel like us INFPs are portrayed as ditzy and confused but it’s actually because we spend so much time living in our heads thinking about literally EVERYTHING that we don’t always care about what’s happening irl
...either not caring what’s happening in real life, or just missing everything that’s happening in real life due to daydreaming about things we think are far more interesting (like that one book you’ve read, story plots for a book, about that one tree that could very well be in The Lord of the Rings that you’ve just started making a backstory to, that one video game you were playing a couple hours before meeting people is still stuck in your mind and now you’re creating new scenarios that could have happened in the story plot, or thinking of new different ways you could have said that *one thing* just a second ago, and just realising you’ve missed a whole conversation/lecture/anything that you were probably suppose to be listening to while thinking of that one thing you’ve said wrong because you started thinking of the thing you have said wrong before you said that one thing wrong, and that’s why you said it wrong and...etc.)

Removing myself from the scene or talking about everything in a cutting (could be construed as brutal) outpouring of words sounds about right with me. Perhaps I really am an INTJ.
The INFJ's inner dialogue was 100% spot on. I can have a complete conversation with myself on how to deal with a situation before I actually do anything about it. The weighing between help and condemn is real.
I don’t need a situation to have an inner dialogue, i just talk to imaginary people in my head about random topics like accents, hedgehogs or fricking farming like i’m being interviewed even though i know nothing about the topic
Difference between Ni-doms: INTJ: I foresee how I can stop you right there, and waste my energy in the process. Hold up, I’m actually mad enough to destroy you, according to my calculations. So sit right here while I’ll take pleasure in ending you. INFJ: I foresee how I can stop you right there, and this and this….but perhaps I’ll go on too strongly and hurt this person too much? Perhaps I should just not say anything or make a light joke to clear up the mood, and keep peaceful? Idk, the tools to bring in that emotional trauma they have is right in my hands….
No. As an INTJ, if I'm mad enough to end you, I'm just going to sit back and watch with some popcorn as you end yourself because I DIDN'T tell you how you were wrong. Actually, I may well orchestrate a learning lesson for you on the issue I saw. It won't take me but a moment to set things up to hit the weak point in your -- well, whatever.
the INFJ basically thinking about the numerous ways they can respond and in the end never communicating well how they feel bc they start to think about how this could affect the other person, and what situations and problems that could be plaguing them that caused them to be emotionally overwhelmed and---
Me when I was younger and at a friend's house: Their mom: Are you thirsty, can I get you anything to drink? Me: No, thank you. *me dying of thirst but not wanting to impose.*
As an INFP I just leave without saying anything, cry on the way home and then continue the argument in my head and ripping them to shreds with my words that they will never hear..
“I’m not mad at you, I’m just disappointed. And hurt...and a little bit hungry. And you know what, yeah! I’m mad too!” That’s literally me as an INFP. I have to process my emotions and the situation and then think, “Yeah, I’m allowed to be upset at this, but let’s do it nicely.” Also, “I’m just disappointed,” is a STAB to the heart.
You'd think, as feeling types, it wouldn't be nearly this hard for us to experience anger. But no, apparently anger has to be an active conscious decision with charts, public surveys, and several hours of just talking it over with ourselves.
He forgot the Hulk mode... "Or do I destroy this person, whatever are my current ties to them are, whatever they mean to me, do I calculate what exactly makes them feel the most immense pain?"
Giving the INFJ stare to the attacker while evaluating the right comeback (apologize? counselling? joke (my typical response 🤣)? door slam?). ... But the right comeback usually comes after when it is too late 😭!!!!
I am very witty at comebacks I don't know why. Actually I do nevermind I can read people and that information will be used against you. It takes a lot for me to explode though. When I have judgement day came for this person.(they deserved it put up with years of abuse)
Am I the only INFP here w anger issues? I get mad pretty easily, but I *suck* at arguing/proving my point/explaining things, so I just sit and seethe. But I really want to flip out on them
here too, but i don’t really know if i have anger issues or just don’t validate my own emotions so they grow and explode but then i regret for exploding
That's me. But it's funny 'cause I can explain angrily to my friends what my partner did to me that got me mad but when I have to explain it to him I just can't lmao and I hate that
INFJ spot on once again. 😆 Recently I realized my intense stare is that I am studying everyone and everything but also that I am VERY focused on the constant inner dialogue in my head! It may seem that I am staring at people but more like staring through them though I don’t mean to. There’s a lot going on in there 24/7. Thanks FJ for all the good insight and creative videos!
I’m INFJ and I SCREAMEDD SO ACCURATE but also add “condescendingly pick apart their argument point by point and explain why they’re wrong.” It’s one level gentler than “cut them out of ur life”
Watching this video, i think i've been cut too many people out of my life.. I never fully understand why i did that, but i always do that unconsciously, long time before knowing that i'm an INFJ 👀
as an infp, when i get offended i just try to keep the conversation short and be quiet because when i try to argue i become lost for words and i say some things i shouldn't have and i don't say the things that i should have and i end up regretting everything and still imagine what i could have said after 5 years.
I'm INFP-T and I LITERALLY SAY THAT QUOTE OF "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed" NON STOP, my boyfriend even made fun of me when hearing this... And the hungry part... And me screaming after a second that I'm actually mad...
@@xthan1250 Well, you should work on that. I know It's hard because thats how I was before, but pointing out insecurities is extremely hurting. No one should do that.
As an INFP I just say yes to everything they say and then go in some room where I can be alone and unleash my rage. And then of course I apologize to the witnesses aka the walls.
I did that. And as he said, it left a mixed taste in my mouth: a taste of glorious victory and taste of.... Well? A bad taste cuz of totally destroying the other girl....
I'm INTP too and I can agree. People with INTP avoid conflicts, but defend values when threatened. Personally, I'd say the words from video to the person I'm close with to express my feelings. To any other people I even wouldn't bother saying them, I don't like taking part in argues.
I'm an infp and I immediately knew wich one was at the moment he said "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed 😔" THAT'S LITERALLY ME, I CAN'T GET MAD LMAO HAJJSHDKA
See for me, it’s the opposite most of the time. I am apparently an INFP-T but I hold grudges like no other. I don’t usually act on my anger unless it’s with family or a partner. With friends, I’m much more easy going and don’t blow up but I still never forgive anyone for anything lol
Veraciously Elegant I think it’s because I’ve been lucky to have decent friends so I haven’t been hurt by too many friends. But partners and family members have done me so dirty before that I think I just have a resentment towards them and that’s why it’s easier for me to hold grudges
when someone offends me (I'm an INFP) I internally blow up and think of the best comebacks and have a full blown argument but never actually say anything to the person who offended me so I can avoid confrontation 😂 and then a little bit later I'm completely over it Perfect way to feel like I won an argument without ever having to make anyone mad, eh?
Literally same 😂 I do that more often in like comment sections. I’ll write a whole response to someone and be like “nah never mind I better not” Cuz I’m afraid of what they’ll say next.
People are literally questioning why there's a lot of INFJ here when they're the rarest (1%) It's becuz INFJ loves learning about their own and also about others. And 1% of 7 billion is still a lot. And this channel started as an INFJ channel so yeah...
you seem smart are the tests we take online really accurate bc i got infj and i really fit into it i think but i’m not as outspoken and stuff and soo many other people have said they’re infj i’m starting to question it
@@riciadeandrez1468 you know it might mean you like yourself since entp and infj match pretty good together at least from what I've seen in studies. I'm Entp guilty as charged. Also you're supossed to take the tests as if it was explaning for your entire life not just what you either thought or felt in that moment on those questions in the tests
As a INFP, even though I agree 100% to what was portrayed I know I couldn’t be able to talk of how hurt I was without crying. Yup, I can’t even hold an argument without shedding a tear...
Right its like they just come out even when you start talking passionately about something the tears just come out and people get all confused and ask you ehy your crying and yet you dont know so then you start to psyco analyze the reason why you started to cry and just get all confused
agreed, I'm an INFP as well, and while I always have somewhat logical arguments in my head, I literally can't even get halfway through verbalizing it without my throat constricting and tears flooding my eyes, and it's SO frustrating. And then people tell me I'm overreacting or reading too much into it when I literally do NOT want to cry but can't control it. I hate it.
that's why my single infp ass stays away from any romantic commitments for the past 10 years so i don't get hurt. took another 10 years to wake up & leave toxic friendships/roommates. next stop: figuring out what job might fit me (i'm 35, switched studies 3x, can't finish university, perceived pressure & social anxiety too strong).
Me, an INFP: “Oh boy, there probably ain’t that many INFP’s, the internet said only 5% of people are INFP” All the INFP’s in the comment sections: *”hello there”*
INFPs and INFJs have a huge difference in their approach to things. When it comes to themselves, INFPs think about what to feel in a certain situation while INFJs think about what to do. When it comes to others, INFPs think about what the other should do and INFJs think about what the other person should feel.

I’m an ENFP and yes the last one is embarrassingly true but I also sometimes pull an INFJ and just have to sit back and contemplate how to reply to such AUDACITY
Sasha Motovylets I think the thought has been ingrained in us since growing up. For example, as a little kid, whenever something made me “reasonably” offended/angry, my family always blamed it on hunger/some other irrelevant stuff from the actual cause that pissed me off/ made me feel any type of aggressive emotions, even though, most times, they triggered it in us (manipulative parenting). So, there, indeed, might have been some upbringings as to how we cope our anger/sadness. Overall, one of the many factors could’ve been that people in general just didn’t take our triggered feelings seriously when we were young and we were often seen emotionally crazy or sensitive, so we blame ourselves for being offended most of the times, think something is wrong with us instead of blaming others? Who knows? But whenever someone say’s “Maybe it’s time for me to eat” every time they get angry, I’m like, “Yooo, (insert name) is an INFP!!!”
U w U true. We do feel everything very deeply. That is why we learned not to trust our own feelings. I have learned that allowing myself to feel and validating my feelings was the key to learning to manage them. Now whenever someone invalidates my feelings it’s an immediate red flag.
as a INFP, when someone offended me I just don't have enough forces to just argue, I go like "yeah, I think that too lolol" but then I cry in the bathroom when I'm showering
there are so many INFPs here bc we're the ones that care about the roots of our personalities the most and how we became this way and that is why we're binging all of these myers briggs videos 😂😂
As an ISFP, this is probably the most accurate ones I’ve seen-almost to the point of being creepy. I feel like I say these same words on a regular basis. “I was mad at you, now I’m not, but you’re still an idiot.” (There are worse people to be like.)
you're the first one I've ever seen mention ISFP in Franks comments, lmao. as a fellow ISFP this made my day, so thank you. I feel like he doesn't usually get us right and it's always the stereotypical I'm an artist/adventurer thing. but well aren't all of these just stereotypical things, lol.
I feel like many of us mistype as INFP tbh. I also go back and forth 'cause I relate a lot to both while also disagreeing with some of the supposed characteristics of both. 🤷🏻♀️
_heard INFJ is the rarest but by looking at the comments I'm like ' so everybody's INFJ(s) now?_ I hate when people say this but anyway *thanks for blessing this comment with likes and more sub-comments*

INTP getting truly offended: cut the ties with the person forever, never contacting them not even once, and pretend in imaginary world they're already dead
@farewell-done. This! All of this! Essentially, they’re dead to me. And it’s incredibly easy for me to do cut people out. It’s really helped keep my Christmas card list manageable. 😏
@@pearlsammo1638 LMAO most INTP just had an "getting absolutely offended" that nobody ever wish to push the button cause it's totally another level of just being mad😌
As an INTJ I have honestly said and done that exact thing! Your brain goes crazy from "Girl it's not worth it, just let that person be an idiot" to "you know what? NO"
INTP: No, I would walk away. Then, write an essay stating all the fallacies of their arguments, mail it to them because I can't think of a comeback that quick and I hate confrontations
It's just an exaggerated meme. There is obviously no MBTI personality type that has 'no emotions' because that would not be a human being.... You nailed it when you said 'we don't express them too much'. ENTJ doesn't express emotions as readily as other types - but it doesn't mean they don't have them or that they can't become extremely emotional under the right circumstances. Also I think it's important to bear in mind that humans are actually really complicated and although we love to pigeonhole and label ourselves these days, most people don't 100% embody every single trait of any given type. I seem to fall almost exactly halfway between ENTJ and ENFJ so whilst I do share a lot of personality traits with both of those types, I don't perfectly embody either of them.
@@chrisdawkins3375 I agree. I fall between ENTJ and ESTJ, the bossy types, but still I have emotions lol It's just unnatural to me to express them or to be driven by them
@@alecrosewell6959 Bc everything has so many angles and nuance. Plus, we really have to weigh the whole should i apologize, fix the persons mistakes, destroy them intellectually, get into a fist fight or just snap our fingers like Thanos. I've done the Thanos snap 3 times in my life so far. Erasing is the easiest option if the person/group is truly toxic, but you know... older INFJs probably realize that is a brutal option to others, so it should be used wisely.
"I am not mad at you.. I'm just disappointed and hurt and a little bit hungry..and you know what? Actually, yeah,I'm mad too!" HOW IS THIS SOO ACCURATE?!😫😅

When im offended, i just leave and get over it, because ik im more aware of myself than them, and what thier saying is 100% a lie. (intp) i kinda wish yall wete confident, bc i yell about the real shi- and my mom lets my siblings take her money and energy, and my niece, then has no time for me or just yells at me for giving her advice on how 2 stop being abused, but she "cant leave" her kids, thier my half siblings, but ill leave someone toxic any chance i get, and spread rumors, then switch schools or hide in my room.

I’m an ENFP and yes the last one is embarrassingly true but I also sometimes pull an INFJ and just have to sit back and contemplate how to reply to such AUDACITY
INFP: “I’m not allowed to be offended so I’m probably just hungry.”
Brain+Blender why do INFPs think that? I’m an INFP and I’ve been like that my whole life but I thought it was because of my upbringing
I cannot stress enough how accurate this is 🤣

I think the video implied ENTJs have emotions, but don't like the idea that their emotions drive them.
Also I think it's important to bear in mind that humans are actually really complicated and although we love to pigeonhole and label ourselves these days, most people don't 100% embody every single trait of any given type.

exactly
🤣
Thank you😌
Uli Quiroz i’m an intj lol
I thought im an intj but i just let it be suit urself i hv my way to deal with(walk away ofc, find peace coz u pissed me off)
The INFJ one was so accurate-
INFJ 2 hours after all:
**He thinks about what he could say then**
4 hours more:
"So i did something wrong or that person..."
20 years later and still thinking about it every night
So true!!
@@epiphanychild3289 why do you guys think for so long.

Im an ISTJ and that's so me😂
Thanks bro
Nah the intj would never say that, just prentends to agree, you're right blah blah and make the other person feel guilty or wrong.
Obrigado
"I am not mad at you..
I'm just disappointed and hurt and a little bit hungry..and you know what?
Actually,yeah,I'm mad too!"
HOW IS THIS SOO ACCURATE?!😫😅
legit
I died with laughter at how right this was lol
I feel this on so many levels
The fact that I literally JUST DID THAT 🙈🙈🙈
ahshajs thats literally me
As an INFJ, I'd say the INFJ's internal monologue was absolutely SPOT ON!
"Or should I cut him out of my life as if he never existed"
I tell myself NO but it's always yes. 😂
And then we get mad at ppl because they don't wanna be friends with us lol
@@beyzax1 exactly :D
@@beyzax1 i dont . I cut them off even more
kittenoholic ! Indeed. They will never see me again. Ever.
Me too
as an infj when someone offends me i shut down and just ignore them for like 3 hours because i'm mad at myself for not saying that brilliant comeback that i've just come up with
then i email them saying i'm not angry just disappointed lmao
Same lmao 😂
Sameee
Same😂
brooo I have that intp friend that's always like 'haha infp, go cry' and I'm like 'ok haha'
It's been one week I'm not talkking to them, seems like they don't give a fuck
Bro- this ✨HAUNTS✨ ME👁️👄👁️
The INFJ matched me completely perfectly. I have never actually resonated with anything more in my life, when someone offends me I’m always so angry and end up apologizing
Angry than crying
When im offended, i just leave and get over it, because ik im more aware of myself than them, and what thier saying is 100% a lie. (intp) i kinda wish yall wete confident, bc i yell about the real shi- and my mom lets my siblings take her money and energy, and my niece, then has no time for me or just yells at me for giving her advice on how 2 stop being abused, but she "cant leave" her kids, thier my half siblings, but ill leave someone toxic any chance i get, and spread rumors, then switch schools or hide in my room. Life woukd be better if she'd get rid of them, they dont waste thier energy on us, but we do. Smh - -
