Congratulations🎉 What a great selection of vintage gear you were gifted there from one of your viewers Marty 😍! We do send our prayers and well wishes for the gentleman‘s wife 🙏🙏. As one of your vintage hi-fi owner/viewers of your channel, I am really looking forward to your reviews on your new toys.. I am a bit of a Pioneer junkie as well.. Really like the Sony and Akai tape decks as well.
SOS is sound on sound! It allows to add another recorded sound on to the same track of an earlier recording! It also increases hiss so was very limiting in use! It was useful for a demo track to build extra parts up but hiss restricted it to one use two if lucky!
As I watch this video, I am listening to you through a Pioneer A-209R amplifier ! It is permanently connected to my PC and has never let me down. Although not high end equipment, it sounds just fine and gives RUclips videos etc. a lovely sonic boost !
Well done Martin. We wish his family the best...By the way, as far as I know, that Pioneer CD player on the top is a State of Art. Everything is made of copper inside. No plastic. (Furthermore, the Akai is actually pronounced Akai, not Akai, if that is what you wanted to know 🙂). Looking forward to your reviews of this exciting vintage equipment...
Oh wow, that's a wonderful thing that gentleman did for you! I'm so jealous! 😅 I do already have a Pioneer CD player though. But I absolutely love the Sony reel to reel! You have yourself the beginnings of a very nice Pioneer system btw! Great video!!
I also used used them to record a Swing Band play live. SOS is Sound On Sound. They do take regular maintenance and belts can slip.. A kettle lead will work.
hi helping you out.... do not use any copy right (star trek for example) sounds or images anywhere in your videos. because later on when you start making bigger money on your channel RUclips will take down your videos or demonetize them. so all that hard work will be for nothing. be smart and you will grow fast! stop threatening people in the beginning of your videos lol
Wishing Martin and his wife all the very best!
Huge haul Martin what an amazing gesture look forward to all the reviews
What a very generous man (the other Martin) is. I hope a speedy recovery for his wife.
Wow, an Aladin’s cave of audio goodness. The Pioneer CD players are my favourite 👌🏻
Looking forward to the review, enjoy yourself when you're doing them
Congratulations🎉

What will you do with all that lovely gear from the generous man, hope his dear wife recovers soon.
Good videos.
I hope Martin's wife gets better. His equipment ended up in good hands.
Сan't wait to see the comparison between the CD deck and the MD deck.
Both of them stable platter players are very nice sounding

I hope I can get that Sony operating soon though!
A German DIN plug will feed the 630 to an amp. Superb sound
Love your vids, hope you get to 100k soon !!
Thanks! 💪
Good luck!!!
I owned two TC630s from new. Wish I had them now. Do you have the front speakers? The first one I bought was in 1974 new at £179.99
It did come with two speakers but I don't have the speaker cables.
I also used used them to record a Swing Band play live. SOS is Sound On Sound. They do take regular maintenance and belts can slip.. A kettle lead will work.
There are compartments at the back that conceal the Mics and the cables.
No mic but found the cables, thank you!
