Most likely because they weren't filming their feet, just from the knees up maybe, and they had to do so many shots of the same scene so they wanted to be comfortable.

That's how TV shows and movies are shot, because they only get the one day to shoot the scenes, they film as many as possible and then choose the best one of make an edit out of multiple shots
@@aena5995 Sorry should've clarified better. When filming in public areas like this they can usually only have it shut down for short periods. They will film any scenes from an episode there when they can, but they do film multiple takes of the same lines or the whole same scene because going back to redo it would be too much trouble. They either keep going until the director thinks they got it right, or they take a bunch of clips from the collective filmed portions and glue it together and make it look seamless in post production. But yeah, I'm sure they have good memories as it's their job. They spend months filming seasons of shows, sometimes 6 months out of a year depending on the show, so they have time to go over their lines beforehand
