Also just shake your hair out. I walk outside a shake my locs out 2-3 times a day. Try it and see how much settled dust and lint comes out. You'll be surprised.

I do it in the car as it's moving with the window slightly cracked. It's easier to see and I watch it get sucked out the window lol

@@holisticflo 👍🏾👍🏾 I also brush but I never brush without shaking first. IMO, if you you don't shake before you brush you're just helping to embed that lint and dust particles deeper into the loc.
I'm just fanatical about clean hair. I wash my hair once a week. I'm at DIYer so I just dedicate a few hours on the weekend to get it done.
